  1. LOL, they're selling it under Chrysler because it's more premium? Like anyone cares what brand it is, it's a bike with a huge engine...
  2. Normally I would say it's two much, but neither of them have much coming out at the same time. Chevy has the Aveo and GMC the Acadia, but other than those, neither of them have anything that hasn't already been marketed, and these are the most important products for GM. Remember all the F-150 ads?
  3. Nothing personal, but I believe you were the one that wanted to quit the site every couple months...
  4. I always wash my car. I wouldn't say that other people don't care as much - I worked as a detailer over the summer and I certainly cared that the customer's vehicle was spotless for delivery, and it would have been the same way if they were just getting it detailed. The person is getting paid to clean your vehicle, so they better care how good it looks, if they don't and do a poor job you aren't going to be taking the vehicle back to them.
  5. I saw a brand-new (still had temp plates) Aston Vantage today. Sweeeet.
  6. This seems like it might be a DTS-style update. It kept the same doors and got new fascias and interior.
  7. That's a good idea, but we still need some way to update the front page if the mods don't have time.
  8. All of the admins have gotten busy, I guess. I'm away to college, and Fly is busier now than he used to be. We'll do our best and see if we can come up with any ideas for updating. I'll post something in the mod forum about it. Thanks for your feedback.
  9. It's good to see that GM is actually trying to keep up for once. 8-speeds is still a bit rediculous I think, but if that's what the market demands, they need to do it.
  10. Do you mean the E85 or AFM? If E85: I'm not sure how it is for high-performance engines. If AFM: I'm not sure that many Corvette owners would want to have 4 cyl running part of the time, and the Vette is already atop the pack for sports car gas mileage. Also, I'm not sure how AFM does with forced induction, etc.
  11. If that's all they had, they should have let people look at the exterior, opened up the doors so that they could see the interior but not the terrible-looking pre-production controls, and kept their interest levels high. By letting them see the controls, it's quite possible a few people got turned off by them and decided against a new Tundra, even if when it comes out it has better controls.
  12. The horsepower figures seem possible, especially if they're high-winding engines, but I don't think 475lb-ft out of 5.7L or 375lb-ft out of 4.7L sounds very possible. That'd be 83lb-ft/L. For comparison, the Duramax not long ago made 560lb-ft (it still does in some applications), and that's only about 85 lb-ft/L, and that's a diesel.
  13. Heh, the LS is certainly not the finest automobile in the world, nor are any other Lexus models. Regardless, it's nice to see he has some sort of passion to make the finest cars in the world. Only problem: Ford doesn't need to make the finest cars in the world, they need some high-volume hits. I could care less if Jaguar makes the XJ into an S-Class beater if they can't make bread-and-butter cars, because S-Class beaters won't keep Ford afloat.
  14. Maybe in Canada it's different, but the Civic is outselling the 3 by a huge margin in the states. Probably because most buyers want a coupe in the "ricer/sportcompact" segment anyways. How many 4-door modded Integras and old Civics do you see running around vs. coupes?
  15. I play basketball a couple times a week to get some exercise. I used to lift weights for basketball, but I kind of lost any interest as a 2nd semester senior who wasn't playing any sports. I worked my ass off in the 2nd semester of junior year, summer after junior year, and the 1st semester of senior year, and I got pretty strong. It does make you feel better, I think, but I just didn't have any motivation. Actually, I should restate that. I did lift, but only my legs/calves. I am very close to being able to dunk now as a result.
  16. No, these are photos from GM. Cadillacfan: The Lambdas are bigger than the TB/Envoy, but not the EXT/XL.
  17. I could see a production version look pretty nice. The only problem I see is that it looks rather small. It looks more like an Aveo-sized vehicle than a Cobalt-sized vehicle, but it could just be the huge wheels that make it look that way. It would definetly need a sedan and coupe to go along with it. I'm also wondering if this could just replace the HHR. I don't know how they would really update the HHR, so maybe it's going to be a one lifecycle vehicle?
  18. Then come up with something better. Find a good picture of the base Tundra interior, or a "bad" picture of the base Silverado interior. That's all I could come up with, so don't bitch about it.
  19. Maybe you should check over at cadillacforums.com to see if it's normal?
  20. Why would they let people crawl all over the interior if it's still pre-production? They wouldn't want anyone thinking about waiting for it to write it off their lists because of the crappy "pre-production" controls.
  21. That's why it says it goes into effect on all 2007 models that have already been sold.
  22. Congrats! The T900 Tahoes are great vehicles; comfortable and they drive very well for being so large. I was very impressed with the 8 or 10 I drove back and forth to the gas station when I was still working. As Paulino asked, what did you have before?
  23. I guess if you really want it and he'll give it to you on the cheap, it'd be okay, as you wouldn't have to invest in it if it ended up needing a lot done. Personally, I wouldn't go for it, but that's just me; I have no interest in a vehcile that large.
  24. And high-res: http://img331.imageshack.us/img331/581/pwrt3fk6.jpg Other high-res pics (contain Enclave, Outlook, Sky RL, Z06, XLR-V and others): http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/7373/pwtr1cz4.jpg http://img435.imageshack.us/img435/3866/pwrt2xs9.jpg
  25. This is true, but the bumper-to-bumper warranty is still more on Cadillacs and Saabs, and since the powertrain warranty is best in the industry, I don't see why a Cadillac buyer would be dissapointed that it wasn't longer than the Chevy at the same dealership. It will be interesting to see if this boosts sales much. I think it could give consumers more confidence in buying from GM, but at the same time, they already have confidence in Toyota and Honda, so will they be swayed?
