  1. What's awesome is that he can't find a single thing wrong with it and it's probably considered the "worst" Lambda by most.
  2. The car sales were not great, but GM did very well this month on the truck side; I'm sure they made a lot of money on the T900s. About 45k T900 utilities went out the door. That's quite a few for November. I also wonder how many of the Silverados and Sierras were the loaded-to-the-gills $40k trucks.
  3. How? A Malibu coupe would have a V6 at least optional if not standard, it would be much bigger, much nicer, and actually have a usable rear seat. Plus, I don't think they'd be priced too similarly. The Cobalt starts at $12k and goes up to about $20k (unless you get the SS S/C) and a Malibu would start at about $18k (with an I4, probably over $20k with a V6).
  4. Not mine, but then it will probably never see snow.
  5. FORD MOTOR COMPANY REPORTS NOVEMBER U.S. SALES http://media.ford.com/article_display.cfm?...8&make_id=trust * Ford's November U.S. sales totaled 182,259, down 10 percent compared with a year ago. * Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan, and Lincoln MKZ pace car sales increase to retail customers. * All-new Expedition (up 14 percent) and Navigator (up 65 percent) post double-digit gains in November. * Ford November inventories are 122,000 units lower than a year ago. * Ford updates fourth quarter 2006 North American production plan and announces first quarter 2007 plan. DEARBORN, Mich., Dec. 1 – Ford Motor Company’s dealers delivered 182,259 vehicles to U.S. customers in November, down 10 percent compared with a year ago. November car sales were 3 percent lower than a year ago, reflecting lower deliveries to fleet customers. Sales to individual retail customers were up reflecting higher sales for the company’s new mid-size sedans (Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan and Lincoln MKZ). Fusion was up 66 percent, Milan was up 29 percent and MKZ was up 83 percent. These 2007 models feature standard side-air bags and available all-wheel drive. Overall, truck sales were down 13 percent, but the company's all-new, full-size sport utility vehicles (Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator) posted higher sales. Expedition sales were up 14 percent and Navigator sales were up 65 percent. U.S. Inventories Lower At the end of November, Ford, Lincoln and Mercury inventories were estimated at 631,000 units. This level is 122,000 units lower than a year ago. The company estimates 85 percent of the inventory is new 2007 models North American Production In the fourth quarter 2006, the company plans to produce 620,000 vehicles (240,000 cars and 380,000 trucks). This plan is 15,000 units lower than the previously-announced plan reflecting the temporary suspension of Freestar production at the Oakville Assembly Plant ( Ontario, Canada). In the first quarter 2007, the company plans to produce 750,000 vehicles (240,000 cars and 510,000 trucks). In the first quarter 2006, the company produced 876,000 vehicles (316,000 cars and 560,000 trucks). Earlier, the company indicated first half 2007 production would be 8-12 percent lower than the first half 2006. The first quarter 2007 plan is consistent with the high end of this range. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Five Hundred tanked, Fusion was below its normal level, and the Mustang was the second best-selling car, in November, when RWD cars aren't supposed to sell, at least in the northern states. What does that say about the rest of Ford's lineup? Expedition was up, but the F-150 was down, I wonder if that had anything to do with the Silverado and Sierra? Not much else worth noting on the truck side. The MKZ and Navigator both did well. Lincoln was up 12% and Mercury basically unchanged.
  6. No snow here yet, but plenty of freezing rain. All the trees are in crested in snow and all of the cars were frozen over that I saw. Luckily the ground is still warm enough that it didn't freeze the sidewalks, or I would have had a fun 15 minute walk home (which was already unpleasant because of the rain). My umbrella had ice frozen all over it!
  7. Nope, the vehicle is decided on, it's a sedan. Whether or not there could be more than one Buick on Zeta, well, I don't know.
  8. So what was this a couple members were telling us about the LS being so much better than the S-Class that it's not even funny? Yeah, I think not. I might actually choose the A8 over the S-Class for no other reason than I like its looks better inside and out, but obviously its performance is lacking in comparison to the others.
  9. It looks a hell of a lot better and less foreign in the brochure. Thanks for posting.
  10. What a jackass. I would have slugged him if I was the guy in the yellow tie.
  11. How many people actually use their Yukon for towing?

I think he's really looking at the ball, but maybe not.
  13. I don't see why GM or any other manufacturer for that matter doesn't debut everything (or most stuff) at LA. It's a huge car market and stealing the show could go a long ways to getting more credibility in SoCal and boosting sales, IMO.

Hmm I haven't posted anything in here in a long time, if at all. Here's a pic of me playing basketball from about a year ago (the one with the ball): This picture actually makes me sad, First, I miss playing. Second, I actually had some good muscles back then, but I'm taking weightlifting next semester so I guess I'll have some again. There's also one of me with the GTO somewhere in the Member's Rides area, but I'm too lazy to post it.
  15. I'm guessing we'll see a higher-powered 3.6L in the Green Line, but I wouldn't be surprised if those ratings went up, they did on the Lambdas.
  16. How does some time around our nation's birthday, in the year two thousand and eight sound for start of production? :AH-HA_wink:
  17. The Sports do look great, though I think the V looks a little better still. Has the fuel economy improved at all?
  18. After seeing some more shots, I think the front end is alright. It still needs some work though. The rest of the exterior is pretty good except for the rear, which is terrible. I'm getting a slight 6-Series vibe from the front half of the car.
  19. I was under the impression that the VUE only had a belt alternator starter and not the battery pack, but obviously I was mistaken.
  20. It definitely lost some aggressiveness and some of the European look changed to Asian. The headlights have very little in common.
  21. I wouldn't worry about it, if that's the best thing he can come up with The two-tone is very boring. The dash is just a big slab in front of the passenger with no detail at all... very drab. The question is, what's better, the VUE or Escape? Right now I'd say it's a tie on the exterior with a slight edge going to the VUE if the lower-models don't have black plastic bumpers and the VUE's interior looks much better than the Escape's.
  22. Looks like a snowplow.
  23. Take it for what it's worth (post 13): http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=119511
  24. It says at least 25% better than XE, so I guess they want you to do the math.
  25. Didn't YJ do that?
