  1. Please continue discussion at the link.
  2. Lambdas will be considered SUVOTY, not TOTY, Ven. For the North American Truck of the year they will be eligible, but not for the MT awards.
  3. One thing I just noticed: That Cadillac badge is HUGE! Too big, perhaps.
  4. Wow! The detailing is amazing! I still need to see the whole car, but if that amount of attention-to-detail was paid throughout, we're in for a great-looking car. Here's a higher-res shot: DETROIT, Mich. (January 7/8, 2007) - Ed Welburn, GM Vice President, Global Design (left) and Bob Lutz, GM Vice Chairman, Global Product Development, provide a sneak peek of the all-new 2008 Cadillac CTS, which will be fully revealed at Detroit's North American International Auto Show in January. The performance luxury sedan is scheduled to begin production in late-summer of 2007, with worldwide sales to follow in the fall. Cadillac's first-generation CTS built a strong record of success on many levels since its inception in 2002. Cadillac sold more than 60,000 copies in the U.S. in 2005, compared to roughly 38,000 in 2002, an increase of more than 50% over that period. There are roughly 275,000 CTS owners worldwide, and industry researchers say they are among the most satisfied in the automotive market. AutoPacific rated CTS as the top Entry Luxury Car in its annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards in 2006.
  5. Maybe Dec 19th means tonight at midnight.
  6. Actually, the Malibu will have the 6-speed on the 3.6 at the start, and later on (6 months after production or so) it will get the 6-speed on the 2.4 as well.
  7. I would have picked the Sierra, but this is good news anyways.
  8. Either Edmunds was wrong, or it's a middle-of-the-day release, but I can't figure out why they'd do that.
  9. I think this thread has outlasted it's warranted life, so it's being shut down for good.
  10. I don't understand how some people can tell so much from one good pic and one fuzzy one, but whatever. I think it looks pretty good but I'm not making a final judgement until I see more high-quality pics.
  11. It looks more like a wagon to me than the Lambdas. It looks like it might be pretty nice.
  12. The car as a whole looks pretty good, I think. I was not that impressed with the nose by itself but when you see it on the whole car, it looks good. I still need to see more, better pics though.
  13. Already posted. Please continue here: http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...topic=14278&hl=
  14. I'm not sure if I like it or not, but it's definitely aggressive. I need to see a pic without some of the car cut out.
  15. Nick, it may not be in time for X-mas still, but I got my set of clubs for a lot less than retail on eBay (and they were brand new), so you might want to check there if you want to save some money.
  16. Not having navigation on the Sport is ridiculous. What the HELL were they thinking?
  17. The Enclave could have the same seam as the Outlook and have better plastic. I don't know that it will for sure, but don't the Lucerne and DTS share some "seams"? DTS has better plastics... Also I don't remember the RX330's center stack being very squishy unless they've upgraded it.
  18. Paint thinner. I'm assuming the headliner is not black (which could make the area you clean lighter if it was black, but you won't notice it if it's tan/gray)? Anyways, all you have to do is get a towel, dip a small corner in some paint thinner (don't get a ton of paint thinner on it), and gently rub at the spot with the area of the towel with paint thinner on it. I don't know if I ever had to do this for a pen mark, but I did do this at work for other stuff on headliners, door sills, doors, seats, etc. Don't rub too hard or you'll get a lighter patch in your headliner, and you can't fix that.
  19. Thanks for bumping, this is a good time of the year (coming up on NAIAS) to remind people to try to keep reposted topics to a minimum.
  20. That looks like a chop to me. The headrests in the back look really fake.
  21. Saw a black Nitro tonight.
  22. Yay, AH-HA is back! You can tell the contouring on the sides are different.
  23. Some of these would be nice, but it's not going to happen...
  24. I would rather buy something like the Altima too, but there are some people that don't care about performance. In addition, I don't think you're going to find an econo car with NAV, bluetooth, etc, for $17k. The Cobalt goes over $20k without either, so it would probably be around $24k with all the gadgets this is going to have.
  25. I think the blue looks dumb, but at least they're offering choices. I'm sure some people will love it.
