  1. It was only a few months old at the time, a little over a year later it has a few bumps and scrapes and lots of dirt on the floor. Even with a work truck, I do try to keep it clean but it is a never-ending battle. The GTO still looks just about as good as it did back then. It now has 5K on it, the Silverado is pushing 18K.

    LT4!

You have a much better chance at a Camaro SS LT4 than a Firehawk LT4 although both are rare. 106 SS LT4 and 29 Firehawk LT4 Talk about being made of unobtanium! This sucker would look sooo good next to my 'Hawk. :AH-HA_wink: Who knows? I do have a few days left to win the lottery.

  4. Guess these pics got lost in the crash, so here they are again.
  5. Fantastic! I have to add my voice to the "more pics, please" chant. Extremely cool project - love the wheels.
  6. This one is so much closer to the surface than usual - you can just feel it coming.
  7. Flaws we all have. I really don't care if someone is devout in their belief as long as they don't throw it in others' faces. As for me, I just don't understand the need for religion, no matter the flavor. G'night all - time to crash.
  8. Whoa! I honestly thought your previous post was sarcasm! It does come-off as extreme when you damn the majority of the world's population to Hell, you know. If you believe it that's fine, but re-read your post and I think you can see that a position like that might be what all the fighting is about.
  9. It's Osama Bin Christian
  10. I just couldn't leave this one alone. Most of you already know what I think of religion so I won't go into that. First off: All this violence over the cartoon is unjustified criminal behaviour plain and simple. Those who take part in it need to evolve. second: I see Islam this way - it is an adolescent religion, by which I mean it hasn't settled down to a quiet little social obligation like the world's other major religions. So, for the last few decades Islam as a whole has been throwing a collective hissy fit. The fact that it is plagueing the rest of the world is a drag but not necessarily an intrinsic feature of the religion itself. Third: Most of what we call Islamic extremism or terrorism is more a social phenomenon than a truly religious one. Dieing for Allah starts to sound good when your life sucks and you're full of rage against corrupt and authoritarian regimes and ,less fairly, western culture. So in strides some spoiled brat like Bin Laden to take advantage of the angry and uneducated masses, whip them into a fury and proceed to kill the innocent. Eventually, I believe, more moderate muslims who care about the fate of their culture and religion will prevail- but it could take a VERY long time. All of the things humanity does in the name of religion just makes me want to
  11. Hmm. As far as I know Ebonics (Ebony+Phonics) was a name given to a proposed "alternative" to teaching English in predominantly black urban centers which tried to legitimize common street slang. It was a stupid idea. If I were black the proposal would have deeply offended me as it implies that urban blacks are incapable of learning standard english. It was even promoted as an " equal but separate" form of english. Absurd.

    Soon On C&G

    :AH-HA_wink:
  16. This car has always been a case of "almost but not quite" just like the Prowler.
  17. Trust me on this, you do speak with an accent - the same one I speak with. It's known to some by the highly complimentary name "Philly nasal". We sound a bit like we are talking through our noses. We also have some interesting dialect. Water is often "wooder" Did you eat? can be "D'jeet?" the response can be "No, d'joo?" (No, did you?) Oh yeah, "YO" was very Philly long before Rap We have some pretty wild place names too. Can any of you folks pronounce these names correctly? Schuylkill Bala Cynwyd Berwyn Have our share of strange ones too: King of Prussia is a place And OCN should recognise these (because of where he lives) Blue Ball Intercourse Bird in Hand Paradise Yup, those are all the names of towns. Funny thing is... ...there are more!
  18. Saw a very clean '77 Impala/Caprice COUPE the other day-not many of those around.
  19. Thanks guys. Sorry to say that construction has since ruined the view.
  20. Don't worry, I'm not offended. We cleared out the space to lay out all the parts for some pictures. The parts were then packed back up and put away. The car is currently for sale.
  21. I have a few ideas... I have always loved Phantoms and hated clones, so when I win the lottery...
  22. This idea has potential.
  23. GM Middle East grille.
  24. Got it!
