Sounds like it has to be a Datsun then? The first thing I thought though was Simca.

Walmart is Satan.

The "roadster top" finds its true home.

Thanks OCN, wish I still had it. I used to call the guy I sold it to once a year to make sure he still had it. Last I heard, it still had under 20k on it and lived in a heated garage under a cover.

Or an LS6...
-
Winner! It was a 1964 Volvo 122S with the B18 engine.
-
nope.

Yes I do, but maybe it ought to be a trivia question? I drove that car for a while as well. :AH-HA_wink:

Finally! Now I need a nap... ... or a beer.

They were the most comfortable seats Ive ever had in anything. They caught the small of your back just right.

This is another one with too many stories. I knew this car from beginning to end and owned it briefly. It started life as a '71 Rally Nova w/ a 307 and 3spd. stick.

This is the "Vile Bile", my 65 Olds F-85. This car has too many stories associated with it to tell here, so I'll just explain its name. After I had the car about a year or so, the radiator became mostly decoration and the car would overheat and "puke" coolant whenever shut-off . If you added water(i always carried a few gallons) too soon after parking it it would "geyser " from the radiator in a loud and dramatic display. I never fixed it and expected it to die from the constant overheating but it never did. This thing started instantly and ran well right up to the day I sold it. It had a 330 V8 and an automatic.

Here is my '57 Chevy 210 Coupe. I bought it in the early 80s for $250.00 and stupidly let my family convince me to sell it. I got $ 500.00 for it and thought that I had done well.
-
First of the odds and ends is my '71 Ford Mustang. It had a good strong 302 with an automatic. It wasn't really much of a looker, but it was in pretty good shape. I replaced the painted rear bumper with a new chrome one and added the Mustang letters to the trunk after these pics were taken. When I got it the chrome trim at the leading edge of the hood and fenders as well as both bumpers were painted body color. I replaced them all with new chrome pieces.

Saved the best for last. This is the first truck I ever bought new( not counting El Caminos). I factory ordered it in '89. It is a '90 K3500 Silverado with a 7.4 EFI engine, loaded to the gills. This was the best plow truck I ever had.

It was mine. See it in this thread http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...showtopic=6711:

This is my '91 Mazda B2600i. My friend bought this truck new, but failed to buy collision insurance . He then forgot to put it in 4WD one snowy morning and proceeded to crash it into his neighbor's garage. I bought the truck and fixed it. Then, I was asked to be in a friend's wedding in CA. I needed to raise cash fast, so I traded the still nearly new Mazda in for some cash and 2 other cars. One of them was the Toronado you have already seen and the other was a Mustang I'll post later.

Since when have you been "tame", Josh?

Holden will be doing the Ute on Zeta(or VE) probably in 08. I will expect my new Camino then. I hope they surprise me sooner, but that's not realistic as adapting the current Ute for GMNA would be a waste of resources when an all-new Ute will be here soon. I want so badly to be wrong about that though. Either way, I'm betting it will be built in OZ.
