  1. Almost looks like an RC car or a wind tunnel test piece.
  2. I have an interesting Monte pic I'll scan for you if I can find it.
  3. Well, I never measured one but it had to be pushing 6 feet.
  4. That sounds so right. Figures. One of the few SK novels I haven't read.
  5. 1970 Monte Carlo
  6. If I had to pick one, it would probably be the '68 442 with the fender stripe.
  7. Well, first off it looks like a model rather than an actual car. Second, it looks like a continuation of the CERV concept series. That's all I got.
  8. The Travelall is a '65 and we had until about '79 or so. It was known as "The Beast". It had a clutch that could throw you all the way to the third seat, 4spd, and no power steering! The doggie is "Big John".
  9. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it is an aviation term.
  10. Alot of the stuff on the Birth certificate isn't really accurate. My car was actually built in Troy,MI by SLP Engineering techs. But, the important stuff(options, date built, etc.) is right. They finished my car on 11/24/02, signed and shipped it on 11/25/02, and I had it on 11/26/02. I wish they could have custom-made one of these for me to show all of the info. but you can't have everything.
  11. Window sticker(another lousy scan):
  12. Sorry guys, the board doesn't seem to want to load the image. Funny thing is, I never clicked on Post new topic but here it is. weird. I'll try later, and post the window sticker too if I can.
  13. Don't know why the scan is so bad.
  14. Lark 2-door wagon. I can't remember if it was a '60 or a '61. I'll post a better pic in another thread.
  15. You asked for it: edit: Can anyone ID the car in the black and white pic?
  16. Well, once my current fleet has been sold, all bets are off. Most likely, the next purchase will be a classic wagon(preferably a Chevelle). A classic El camino is always a possibilty, but who knows what might cross my path. A little later on, I am certain at least one zeta-based vehicle will find its way to my driveway.
  17. Sorry to hear this, just remember: "every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end."
  18. One thing we can count on is that an awful lot of people really care about this. I see that as a positive sign. Great thread!
  19. Don't ruin a good thread,Regal. If you have nothing of value to add, don't post.
  20. " the connecting principle, utterly invincible, almost imperceptible: synchronicity" anyone know the quote?
  21. It's called synchronicity.
  22. or... Endura bumper?
  23. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
  24. Food for thought.
