  1. That's ok, we are all entitled to an opinion. I find the CTS coupe to be ugly as sin.
  2. I'd love to see a proper coupe in CTS, ATS, or the new Omega - but the current CTS coupe is just lousy-looking.
  3. Disappointing. The wagon is the only CTS I like.
  4. This is such a strange thing. When fixed 100% like the '96 I had, no worries. Other times...it's hit or miss. Hence both of my father's current ones with continual issues. But that's also because he spends $$$ to fix things 85-90% and then complains. Tough otherwise, and nothing like a Subie. This was really a no-brainer. He only paid $1,500 for the car and got 25,000 miles out of it - no sense in spending the time/money to fix the thing. I told him to sell it as is: runs, new battery, decent tires, inspected, needs head gaskets.
  5. Sorry to hear this. I know how tough that ride is.
  6. I convinced him to dump the car.
  7. My neighbor sent me an email asking if I'd be interested in replacing a bad head gasket in his Subaru wagon. I did a little quick research online tonight. I'm thinking no.
  8. The first looks like one of the CERV Corvettes. Late 70's? The second is the XT-2 around 1988 or so.
  9. Honda 600 (Scuba mask with wheels)
  10. Hope it's been a good day for you.
  11. What don't you like about the Caddy?
  12. Well, that answers the only question I had. I would opt for the standard manual over any DSG-type trans.
  13. Hyper has something of a point on this. I may not entirely agree, but I will say that if a car like the current COPO Camaro where street legal in 2013 (like the car it is named for), it would be the future barn find 5th gen. Some stuff just isn't possible anymore.
  14. I have to agree, The Imperial integrated that styling in a far better way.
  15. And it's an awful mistake. I find the lack of a half-ton diesel to be inexplicable - there is no more logical place for such a drivetrain.
  16. Your eyes are better than mine, Bill. I can see some very small spots of something on the fender lips, and a spot on one of the doors that doesn't look right, but most of these are a rusty horror and that doesn't apply with this one. Bigger pics would surely help. As for the paint, you might be right that an upfitter did this, but I remember lots of these sitting on lots as new vehicles with this paint style.
  17. Really? Haven't seen one in ages. This one seems to be in good shape, and fairly original.
  18. Yep. Just checked, the proper code should be 1A2 for police wagon, not 9C1. Service label would tell the tale here.
  19. Can't be a '91. The other thing is, I believe the police package for the wagons has a different code, not 9C1.
  20. Doesn't look rusty to me, and that is a factory paint job.
