  1. Samadei came and got them today. I'm very happy that I didn't have to recycle them.
  2. Well done.
  3. Sorry I missed your day, hope it was a great one!
  4. I've seen a clue, but I won't steal the man's thunder.
  5. The only point of disagreement I have with any of that is the limiting of the 5.3 to the entry-level car and the 6.2 to the Stingray. I think they'd sell more Vettes if they opened that up to both models having the option of either engine. I see it as most important that the Stingray have the 5.3 option for those you mention who merely want the status of the car. I think they'd sell more units that way. I also believe that it would be the best way to offset the cost of certification for the 5.3.
  6. The Malibu (Chevelle) is a '77, not a '79.
  7. 4-door - 116"
  8. 2013 Wrangler 2-door - 95"
  9. Beat me to it. Had to search through old brochures.
  10. With the Wrangler? Probably. The standard Wrangler has a very short wheel base. With the Tahoe 2-door no, not much difference at all. Was the 2dr Tahoe on a shorter wb than the 4dr ? I believe so, but not very. It's long enough for a good ride anyway.

  12. No argument with that. To me, it is only a truck engine because it happens to be used in trucks, not because of any inherent quality.
  13. I'm just going to have to drive one and see what I think.
  14. That's a given, but it is still downright puny back there.
  15. Beetle vs, Sonic? No contest. Beetle vs. Mini? Contest.
  16. It's interesting, but a bit beyond budget I'd guess.
  17. I also built a few Challengers and Camaros online just for grins - been years since I've done that.
  18. If any of the old "Big Three" still made one, that's what I'd be looking at. They are just so damn versatile.
  19. They really work for me, but they aren't getting any younger.
  20. One major drawback is just how tiny inside the Wrangler is. I'm very used to my Tahoe 2-doors that can carry lots of stuff. They are damn-near perfect for me all around - too bad no one builds such a thing today.
  21. I hate 4-doors generally, and the Wrangler especially, but it does look a bit better with a body-color hardtop. Looks like ass with the soft top though. That's all academic anyway, since I wouldn't buy any 4-door short of a real wagon or a Suburban. Don't need the extra doors, and hate the look.
