Heres an even better...better thought, like you just said a week ago or so.........he could just spend this free time finding a job

Ah.............whats the applause about. They are still operating at a loss. They are still losing market share. They built 96,000 fewer cars. They wrote a pile of loans GMAC will not make a penny from. Improvement means nothing when your still operating at a loss and your production is down. But hey...........what the hell......lets have a little guru dance just the same..........

Yea ! It always seemed funny to me why they would build both the CTS and STS on the same chassis/platform. They are so obviously similar sitting side by side in a showroom. That is how I decided I liked the STS sheet metal much better, but not the price. The interiors are a snooze, much like Pontiacs. I liked my buddies 535's (if thats what it is) interior more than its exterior. He said it was a dog compared to their old turbo A6. -
Now he just needs to make another one that says "Im a gay attention whore" * No wait, I hade a better thought "Im a gay attention whore and I want you to stop picking on my mommy because of it"

Gotta love Firefox's way of giving the red X the boot. 208425[/snapback] Whats that ? A protection that doesnt let some images come through ? They did post for me but usually dont show up the next day or so.

Im a old Buick owner and have spent much time on various Buick forums ove the past 7 years and know the various owners views. "What type of surveys have I conducted" ? Get real ! I sure as hell hope you are not starting on me. I said " I dont shop these cars because they are out of my league." I didnt need you to rewrite it, and shove it back at me. Once again, let me say, I sure as hell hope you are not starting on me ! I have also peered at Mercedes and BMW and know what I can see inside is miles apart, outside, not so much on the STS body, but thats my taste. I was asking OC himself why he said "STS, you gotta be kiddin me " he is a CTS owner and I want to know how the STS translates into "you got to be kiddin me". Actually items, not some bombardment of fancy words that repeat what I said in an earlier post. -
Tell them to wait another 10 years, theres a big turnaround comming, soon, someday, anytime now. Had they owned an old C/H, G or W body that was Buick powered they would feel differently. But even then they would be disappointed today for the most part. Cobalt may be worth a try, you could tell them the Cobalt has been givin great reviews and how the SS/SC has even done well racing, near showroom stock against Acura TSX, Mazda, and BMW 3 series. These are at least true items you could mention.

Well its the lounge so saturin falls under my fair game act #007 subsection We stopped at a saturin dealership this weekend..........just to kick a few skys......... and damn if there wasnt a few Aurora wanna be's sitting there. You guys can have that car, in person its about as exciting as the Camry.......two generations ago. SO this photo does well to not give away the grade school body sculpture* of the "aura". *term used loosely in this case

First, cant they make a law that allows us to slap these types of people senseless ? or perhaps that is the problem, they were already slapped senseless. Second, we all need to take a bit of time and repeat... Ventiports........Ventiports..........Ventiports........ This is a givin on Aston Martins and has been Ferrari has nearly always used some sort of fender venting, sometimes nonfunctional and always changing BMW even made one [ ]excellent looking car, complete with fender vents Of course we all know none of these cars have ever been thought to be classy or desireable or of notable "design" So all those with Ventiphobia.......I got something for you ! OH YEA ! HERE....HAVE ANOTHER !

A6 is large ? 5 series is large ? OC......whats wrong with the STS for a "move up" ? I prefer its exterior to the CTS. I know the interior is questionable but what all about the car is wrong ? Then whats wrong with the CTS V for an upward move ? These are serious questions, I dont shop these cars because they are out of my league. I just look at them and peak in the windows. I would just like to hear whats wrong compared to competition. Lastly I would like to say BS to the "they arent going to buy a Buick". That would depend on what kind of Buick, Buick could bring to market. I just dont believe, regardless of the past 2 decades that the name Buick is off the radar. I believe the name still carrys an awsome amount of clout, especially if the machine is there. The name itself demands attention, has a thick sound, a quality sound. Buick ! Even younger people today still know what Buick is supposed to represent. Many have had the opportunity to polish off old high mileage, LeSabres, Regals and Park Avenues, even Rivieras. I know there are younger guys out there that have respect for Buick. Someday they will have arrived and will still remember their old beat up but reliable and sweet Buick. This is not something to ignore. Ive been saying for years that this small BMW type of car belongs to Buick. Theres no need to destroy this division by ignoring its origional and true calling. The current attack or lack there of, is going to do just that. Going fast with class... is Buick, Iron fist in a velvet glove..is Buick. say the names Buick..... Cadillac.... sorry but to me, Buick just has a sound to it, masculine but classy, gentleman demanding respect Cadillac sounds like a wood duck call.............. Let Caddy work on their full size upperend stunner Let Buick get this new Zeta platform and really get the job done. Dont put a choke collar on them so Caddy can "rule" or Chevy can "rule" thereby making Buick once again come out looking lame. For goodness sake let Buick be Buick again and keep saturin and Caddy the hell out of the way. -
Two of the most important decades in American history. The first and last time American people stood up and said "we are not going to tolerate this crap". I mean you guys try to do it but when asked "what crap" you come up dumbfounded. You better get a history lesson to say "Thats when all bla bla bla went out the window" For what ever our oversites and short commings were ?...........ya's all's..... perfected it.......... Today little sanity exists because people like to overlook whats really going on, take the easy way out, thats the insanity right there. It seems to be a large problem with you younger guys, that have tasted little of lifes cold hard reality, yet think you know it all. Is this why you have no respect ? Too busy being know it alls ? Because those of us from the 60's and 70's that were raised proper have respect and values. Now ! How about yourselves ? This comment ? "Don't blame video games or movies, music or tv shows, gangs, drugs, alcohol, your childhood, etc. Blame yourself, live and learn." Is 100% wrong ! Its been proven that early developement and infuence are lasting long term values. Growing up with ones head in a screen game.....aint good ! Lots of bad attitude cartoons/movies/music..........aint good ! Neighborhoods with gangs (drugs alcohol) aint good ! Neighborhoods with no real jobs....aint good ! These are not things children can control. Moms not around, she has to work, Dads not around he has to work, or bailed all together....aint good ! Mom and Dad are drinking and doing drugs all the time....aint good ! Comming from a privilaged life, most are unwilling to understand the complexities of these issues and pass it off as "live and learn" not realizing that those you are talking too have learned things you do not want to know or hear about.

Cadillac doesnt need more cars. They are a sector of a diverse corporation and do not need to appeal to all audiences. Lets leave some damn room for B U I C K AND P O N T I A C....OK ! They need a higher standard of stying...inside and out. I never thought the CTS was that HOT ! or the rest of them, either. Inside or out. It lacks some amount of stylistic appeal. How do I say ?....its like comparing the art work of a grade school student to a seasoned professional. This could be said of all of GM's styling. They are so close yet somehow come off looking to be designed by the guy that didnt get hired by the competition....ah....which I suspect is the case. They had better take a good hard look at that 57 & 67 Eldorado... and get a clue. If they dont have what it takes, to take ones breath away with brilliance they have been a huge waste of money, because most of the money people will always walk right past them for something inspiring and classy. Maybe the "new" stuff is going to get the job done...maybe it isnt. I for one am getting sick and tired of waiting for the next disappointment. "Coulda, shoulda, woulda, didnt ! Instead we offer this 75% complete product for your curious amusement. We are far to distracted playing Hollywood superhero to pay attention to the details........" -
So we can assume market share was lost elsewhere to Korean cars ?

30's cool, it was 35 that got me thinking "now Im closer to 40 than 30". Somehow I got more of a reality slap at 35. The 30's are prime as far as Im concerned, vitality + experience. So you guys taking the turn..........enjoy, its a great one, time to really get things done...Oh yea, and if you have a lady around the same age, and you can wake her up from her distractions, theres alot of fun and bonding to be had. :AH-HA_wink:

I'd like to make a apology of sorts, especially to deftones. I just get up tight about people turning a blind eye to whats going on today. It is to bad people intrepret that as my saying "the sky is falling". Im really only saying the sky is not as brilliant blue as those that dont have the cloud over their house see it. Thats all, everyone is going to see it as they interpret it or on how it agrees with their future. Problem is, typically things that are overlooked come back and kick you in the ass...HARD ! As for "breeds", we all have our little quirks, I have seemed to inherit the Brit tendencies for nobility, loyaltiy, and the will to stands ones ground till the head is cleanly severed............ The Jewish people are not without their own......tendencies. If Henry Ford pointed a few out........oh well. The Isralites have always had their own opinion about the "rest" of us as well. The path they have trod is stained a bloody scarlet red too. Let the first stone cast, land directly upon my head........beam me up Scotty !

your not going to start crying are you ? If this is politics, then C&G is a tricycle forum I am assanine, thats why I fit in so well around here............... I am cocky ! Hardening !... its what happens, I did not used to be I harshly scrutinize and evaluate ! I believe it was a few others whos world started recently that were telling me that what I think and have witnessed in my life is wrong ? I believe I only stated things as they have gone down, in history I am not living in the past, Im seeing today and look back to the past and see how we got here, for both the good and the bad. I believe the Japanese are very smart people that dont need to be hit over the head more than twice to figure out a better way to get to the desired goal I believe most Americans are naive and complacient about whats going on worldwide today and the effects it will have on our diverse population and assets in the future, let alone currently. Its seems impossible to get anyone to see the current state of affairs.......even though on this site it is the common contributing factor to the state of why we proclaim to be here _ _ _ _ _ _ _ you can fill in the blanks. I believe you all should believe the exact opposite I just always like to add some fuel for thought even though I just make it all up as I go........ Now lets stop scrutinizing me and look at the big picture, I didnt paint it, I simple give my interpretation.

Disagree all you want, but in small town 60/70's America there was no disrespect shown to adults and personal property by kids. The stuff I have heard come out of kids mouths today we would never have even thought of saying nor wanted to say. We took our lumps as a lesson taught. We didnt need to go into hissy fits and tantrums, yelling and screaming vulgarities, we would have been ashamed to be seen carring on like that. I never said we were angels. We were talking about respect, not hell raisin. If we got in trouble for hell raisin we acepted our punishment, so many of todays children go into fits of rage, then search out means for revenge, because they got in trouble for doing something that was wrong. I was never afraid of my father, mother or grandparents. Even when I was getting my ass paddled, which was rare but did happen, I was not in fear. My parents were the ones that I did not have to be physically afraid of, the bullies/older kids in school could put a bigger lasting hurtin. The fear I had was placing disappointment in their eyes....thats called RESPECT ! Teenagers in our schools today hold our teachers hostage to their little whims. If a teacher tries to do anything to curb a students behavior, next thing you know they are down in court and the little prick or bitch is running around with a big smirk "I showed you" I know parents that were raising their children with the "take a time out", woossy, be nice and tolerant attitude. Now we all have teenagers and have to listen to these same whimpy bleeding hearts cry about "I cant believe the things Jr. says to me, I cant believe the names he/she calls me, I dont understand the fits of rage, we never did anything to him/her"......................my reply........ "exactly" Dont worry, your times a commin, I hope you guys get it done "right". We have teachers aids today, will you guys have armed guards ? ............
-
Thats within an age group, it has nothing to do with outward respect. Respect for the past, respect for elders, respect for parents, respect for teachers, respect for community, respect for personal property TRUST ME ! The $h! the past 3 decades of children have gotten away with would have gotten my generation a sore butt, serious restrictions, a life made myserable, a frown from your parents that would cut to the bone. We didnt trash our schools, destroy cemetarys, vandalize everything and anything we could get our hands on. Back in the early 90's when school budgets were first going through the roof, my father and I had a bit of an arguement. I asked whats up with all these "teachers aids" we need to employ now ? We never had teachers aids. Why are they complaining about having 22 kids in the classroom, we always had at least that many but usually 26-29 ?" ......Well he got a bit intence and said. "We now have children that were raised by parents that did not instill any form of control on their children. We have children that were not even raised through preschool age by their mothers, they just ran rampant, uncontrolled at some relative's or friends or "day care" center. We have children that were raised by parents that smoked dope in front of them or with them." I had to sit there, dumbfounded, because I surely had no comeback. As he spoke I could see the picture and knew what he was saying was correct. So yea, it could easily be said that a large portion of baby boomers did a $h! job of raising their kids. Most have been forced into dual incomes, we did have a drug culture, we did have a discontent attitude with Nam, the police, politics..........but thats a huge circle isnt it ? Like one great big snowball, we could blame our parents generation for and they in return could blame their parents generation. Problem is for those of us that did raise their kids strict and disciplined, with scruples, dignity, respect and principles. We always have to answer to the lowest common denominator. If you have kids with bad attitudes, dealing up lip service every chance they get, as a parent you have to fight this influence off dayly. Generation for generation the percentages increase and the challenge becomes greater. There is no doubt in my mind that our children are our parents revenge and payback is a bitch.

No one ever said the Japanese were stupid..........thats a privilage reserved for naive, brain washed, American puppets. this all came free ya know, to complacient, lazy, slackers. It just happened, no one lifted a finger, got a little blister, skinned a knuckle, dripped some blood on the ground........just a big fat joy ride.....so I see no reason why we shouldnt give it all away
-
So what is it the hero in your sig. sees ? "Old redneck native born and raised proud Americans that care about the job, material, and land resources in their own country, need to die".............he looks pretty pissed, I bet he could prolly take me too..........
-
I think too many have watched too many cartoons and video games, now they think that is the reality of life. You fall down, get dead, then just get back up and go at it again. theres no "play again" in real life this is the real $h!..........girls !
-
Yea, I always got excited when I looked in the mirror and saw how good of shape I was in. Then I went and hunted down some girl who would enjoy it. So this means you cant be out in public around men with their shirts off and keep a clear head ? I sit here thinking about my 6 years in school wrestling and the long line of kids getting weighed up for their classes and then how a man on a magazine cover could possible be a topic posted by a man. and here I get all worked up over trivial things like American economics and poorly designed consoles, steering wheels and cup holders.....boy am I
-
Well Variance.........I have said much, I guess perhaps the question is........."what is it you want ?" You have said little, how is it you see it and to what benefit of yours is this whole thing going ? I dont feel threatend by the "Nazi" or Germany, that is passed, but I know how we came to be and I will stand proudly and unwilling will I give it away. Today we have other forms of war going on, its not this peachy dream from where Im sitting. So tell how its going where your sitting and maybe I could understand your problem with the view from my window.

Its not the point that what you buy off the shelf may or most likely came from somewhere else. Its the means by which this transition took place. Its not the consumers fault. It was greed and the could care less attitude from the leaders within this country, both political and corporate, they simply dont give a damn. They do not care about tommorows price tag, only todays pay check. Imagine running a household or your personal long term planing like our governments and corporate leaders do ?........Oh thats right, thats exactly what most Americans are doing now, with credit cards, extended loans, consolidated loans, overdraft checking accounts, and finally bankruptcy lawyers.......
-
There has also been all the high tolerence, passive, liberal, its a beautiful world, Disney world idealistic, one day we'll all live in peace, teacher/school influence. There is no consideration as to how things came to be what they are today in this country, all taken for granted. Well one day aint here yet, and we have a diverse population that producing children to think about.....and here our own children get bent out of shape if we bring up the topic "wait a minute, this isnt going to all be a bed of roses down the road". Def, dumb and blind "Like pied piper, led rats through the streets"
