  1. True I'm sure they can handle building 5 bugs bunnies.
  2. Have to wonder how much more a Euro Focus built in NA would have cost versus a Mazda 3 or VW Golf/Rabbit. I wish there were more "premium" compacts here.
  3. Here or coming soon... Camaro CTS Sky Corvette G8 There are classes where GM is not class leading (anything they make FWD), and GM bowtie radio center stacks are cheap and ugly, however I can't think of another manufacturer where I'm a fan of that many affordable (to me) vehicles.
  4. That reminds me of this, though Alberta would probably end up as part of Jesusland.
  5. I can see the USD going down more in the next month and the CAD worth $1.15 USD.
  6. I can't disagree with the rating of the new G, it is quite the value and the price is right. I also actually grew to like the interior the more I've driven and been in the car. The engine is incredible. It makes me wish the 3.6DI was standard on the base CTS as well. However, similarly equipped, I'd take the CTS.
  7. Dunno about the US but in Canada the sedan cannot be had with the AWD
  8. My folks' 86 Gutless Ciera with the 2.5L Iron Duke was a piece of $h! car that aged very poorly. My friends with 3.4L Grand Ams and Aleros have had lots of stupid issues and the engine sounds like $h! when cold for a car sold this century.
  9. Damn import humping press

I hope the leather doesn't feel like plastic.
  11. Pretty nice performance package they've got going here. If only the styling were a little less 90's.
  12. So true. I'm only 5'8" and when I get in and out of Epsilons I always feel like I have to be careful not to bang my head on something.
  13. Thought never crossed my mind, nope I don't treat them differently based on vehicle. I try to keep my distance from old falling apart vehicles if that counts.
  14. The thread on redflagdeals of people discussing how-to import, sharing success stories and roadblocks encountered importing now has over 860,000 views on it. Hopefully pricing in Canada changes a bit.. I don't expect to see parity but a 10% difference rather than 20-30% would be nice. Especially if the vehicles are assembled here. I pay more in income taxes each year than what I would spend on a vehicle, and would still be paying PST, GST and a $300 RIV fee upon importing a vehicle, so I don't feel any obligation to buy the vehicle in Canada to spend an extra 5 to 10K. Besides if I use the same logic people here use for Japanese vehicles assembled in North America, the "profits go back to the USA" anyways in the end.
  15. I for one am happy about the immigration. To generalize, someone's got to work hard and second generation types seem all too often to be averse/"above" that.
  16. Its better looking than an Aura but if it drives floatier then forget about it. I hope GM updates the 3.6L to get better than 26mpg on the highway in an Epsilon at some point.
  17. Well done.. It a year or so a US purchased Corvette is going to be awfully hard for me to resist.
  18. I can live with everything but the wheels, those are too ugly for even winter use, I'd rather have steelies.
  19. Its way more modern looking than the unstyled Cobalt/G5.
  20. As long as there is not change to the level of moderation/whats acceptable due to the sponsorship its all good
  21. Hard to be more expensive than the G6 when the G6 interior looks more 90's GM every year.
  22. Really, the vast majority of them I don't have enough info on at all to pass any sort of judgement on other than acting or musical talent. I'd like to say I would be much more charitable etc than now if I had such financial means but I haven't been in their shoes.

    TiVo

I have the Rogers cable "equivalent" DVR made my Scientiific Atlanta and I have to say its pretty kludgy. The quality of the recordings (HD) are great and I don't really watch non-hd programming except for Family Guy at this point, but the interface leaves a lot to be desired. Beats the alternative of analog recordings though.
  24. I knocked on the wheels at the show, they were chromed plastic covers. This was a preproduction car though.
  25. Whatever it is, it seems like a colour people would have liked about 12 years ago.
