  1. I'd rather have a lower compression ~2.0 turbo motor as the base motor but who knows maybe the 2.5 will surprise me.
  2. Google wants to track everywhere the cars take you, and accidentally record your conversations in the car to try and figure out what you are talking about before target advertising to you.
  3. The base engine is a turd for a "premium" compact.
  4. Learned to drive with one of these.. Ofcourse by the time I got my hands on it, rust had done its thing.
  5. Maybe its the turd of a trunk hybrid converted sedans offer.
  6. Had my first Verano sighting on the road over the weekend. It is missing the nice stance of it's Buick sedan siblings.
  7. Charger or 300 easily over this. Nope, not just you. I'd rather have a 2011 Dodge Charger, too. *sighs* Cort | 38.m.IL | pigValve + paceMaker + cowValve | 5 MCs + 1 Caprice Classic CHD.MCs.CC + RoadTrips.hobbies.RadioShows.us66 = http://www.chevyasylum.com/cort * rNw-CC+event: http://rdwhl-caprice...rd=whatsgoingon * "Let's don't let a good thing die" __ Elvis Presley __ 'Suspicious Minds'
  8. The old one was getting really dated, this should do pretty well for them if priced right. It's handsome enough and has good powertrain options. 4 cylinder FWD at ~3500lbs seems like it should get pretty good fuel economy for its class as well.
  9. Will be interesting to see how the new Avalon turns out
  10. I do like the front half of the car, not big on the rear or the interior (not bad but the steering wheel makes me think of an old van).
  11. Does seem pretty nice, up there with the new Fusion.
  12. Base price is decent.. It's when you add options an entry lux car should have it gets a little pricey.
  13. Badge engineering was pretty obvious with this car.
  14. I'm all for cool features as long as the software is locked down enough so it's not possible to access the more distracting/advanced ones while the car is in gear.
  15. What happens when someone steals the tablet
  16. Some lengths for comparison Fiesta Hatch: 161 inches Encore: 168 inches Focus 5 door: 171.6 inches CRV: 178 inches CX-5: 178 inches Edge: 184 inches Equinox 187 inches Grand Cherokee: 190 inches
  17. Well lets hope its the only part of it like the current Impala
  18. I thought Buick staying around over Pontiac was obvious due to their success in China which has passed the US in automotive sales. Neither had good vehicle lineups in the US for quite some time at the time of Pontiac's demise.
  19. I'd like to check it out one year if they have decent slopeside accomodation.. I spend a week out west snowboarding every year but thus far have stuck to BC.
  20. How about another VW? Previous gen GLI?
  21. Yep.. Agree 100% +1.. I shop the model not the brand.. Most mainstream brands I could easily see myself in 2 or so of their models but not more than 4 (probably 4 GM models), except luxury brands
  22. Other than the Mazda I only thought of the 2006+ Acura TSX 6 speed manual... But it doesn't get good MPG if you get up into the 5000+rpm range often.
  23. Doing pretty well in my part of Canada.. Tonnes of them every time I'm in the downtown Toronto area.
