  1. Maybe I have to see it in person... not conservative I guess. Interior on new Civics seems good. I wish most compact coupes were hatchbacks, going back to the mid 90s Sunfire/Cavalier, up to the Cobalt..
  2. Super sweet, enjoy it!
  3. I don't have a preference in general for a brand any more, but from the brands I don't find much appeal in otherwise.. Scion FR-S Ford Mustang There was a BMW i8 parked just down my street last week, just the second time I've seen one, fun to look at.
  4. They were practically giving these away on lease deals a month or two ago in my neck of the woods, under $400 a month CAD tax in (our retail tax rate is 13%) with zero down, ~$1500 security deposit for the SH AWD model.
  5. I remember thinking the concept for their current Legacy looked slick.. then we got the plain baked potato production model.
  6. For me, 1989 and the 300zx
  7. There is a red one parked near my workplace pretty often, only one I've seen so far, it's a nice colour but I haven't taken a close look.
  8. In Ontario, the high cost of insurance is probably the biggest culprit in the interest of autos for young people. I sure wouldn't want one if I had to pay $300 a month for insurance either. Besides you have the Orange Julep to congregate around, no wonder there is still some semblance of enthusiasm in La Belle Province. Watching my teens grow up, observing their lack of interest in cars, and listening to them make fun of guys who have to have performance cars....I have to agree here. It's a crazy new world. Many kids today are not even in a hurray to get their license. That one blows me away. All the parents say similar too. And being that we are from the motor city, and that many of their parents work in the auto industry, does not seem to influence them. If anything, they are opposed to what their parents are drawn to. Well...Quebec teens actually are in love with the automobile...many of them customize their rides with performance parts....maybe not as crazy as SEMA show levels of customization...but its there... Vehicles of choice? Small 4 cylinder rides from Mazda 3 Speed, VW Golf GTi, Subaru BRZ and WRX, Acura Integras (yeah...there are still some out there, Honda Civic Si (yeah, the older 1990s models, Ford is fast becoming popular and no...not the Mustang. BMW E46s are popular with this crowd too...but the kids that own these usually do more visual stuff rather than performance oriented stuff... So...take what I have said however you like to take it...but...even in Quebec...where gasoline prices are sky high...hence the love for 4 cylinder cars being "souped up"...even as far North and exotic as...Quebec...there are youth that continue the car crazy trend...not all are into their phones...they are...with their phones too...and their phones help with the diagnostics of their performance with their little 4 banger ricers....so...
  9. So many teens mag race (though I suspect fewer in the digital age of smartphones and social media becoming the all consuming hobby), but so few of them ever end up buying sports cars even when they eventually have the money.
  10. Not bad, better than the last gen by quite a bit and with the name recognition will do well.
  11. Looks good with the big chunky wheels and nice interior. Will be interesting to see it in the flesh and pricing when it makes it over here.
  12. I don't see too much of a difference other than the front end, but I think the Tucson may have the edge between the two this time around.
  13. Had an Impreza rental in Banff, agree with you on the powertrain and small cargo area. Worth paying extra for the Forester I think but you lose a little youthful image in that.
  14. Very bland looking thing, hopefully something better is in store than that for NA.. Encores can get up there in price so to price out higher than that, it needs to have some "flair" as others mentioned.
  15. You also need a commercial license and insurance to drive for Uber Black afaik
  16. It does come off pretty well in pics and I like that the base model comes with useful options. Looking forward to seeing one in the wild. I'm sure the upper trims are up there in Sante Fe pricing territory.
  17. True, but you cannot compare the handling of a Verano with a GTI or any other "hot hatch"
  18. How about compared to a closer sized RWD/AWD "value" car like the 300C? Apparently here in Canada AWD is standard.
  19. It is fairly decent looking for its class, but the QR25DE engine is not exactly great (maybe the hybrid will actually be an upgrade in more than just fuel economy).
  20. Looks better than I thought it would when seeing the video. It's getting up there in size, larger than my 1st gen TSX now.
  21. Thanks. I'm guessing the trunk is crappy..
  22. Pretty big fan of the new C class in general, so this should be decent. Interior looks like it will be pretty much the same deal with different trim options available, and I like the interior of the C sedan a lot.
  23. I'm actually impressed they managed to keep a relatively usable trunk on the 2016 Sonata Hybrid, first sedan to do so as far as I know.
  24. They're definitely capable of building a winner, just keep the value and substance proposition there like the Genesis and it should be a success
