  1. Based on your usage, a Nexus 5x should be fine. http://www.expansys.ca/tag2.aspx?tag=Google-Nexus-5X
  2. Cannot think of anything not mentioned yet except for a 1995 Taurus SHO.. Also have a soft spot for 4 door Acura Integra GSR's of the same vintage.
  3. Born and raised in Toronto, short stints away for school and work, but have been back for many years. Moved to the Bloor West Village area of the city a few years ago when we started a family, updating and fixing our 100 year old house as time and finances permit.
  4. I'd love to see some interior shots Ed
  5. You want to pay $150 for the replacement of your current CPU you will try to sell for $120, and take the ~$60 voucher they bundle with the new one to break even or even make some money on your upgrade.. I don't follow AMD or even Intel CPU's these days, but why not if your mb supports it... Sounds like a no brainer.
  6. Too much black plastic. Not enough hype about fit-like interior features so I guess it won't have them.
  7. I think I would have to go with the exclusivity and my admiration of the old McLaren... Think I will go watch the old Tiff Needell review now..
  8. Something tells me the prospective engineers would rather not be based out of Oshawa... http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/gm-canada-engineers-1.3624257
  9. I'd definitely take one over their volume naturally aspirated boxer 4 banger w/CVT...
  10. At least it happened while under warranty. That would definitely be a "never give this brand my money again" thing if you had to cover the repair.
  11. Even in Canada where compacts have been very popular, subcompacts, including the Sonic have failed to gain much traction. The value proposition just isn't strong enough.
  12. Once a CRV, RAV4 etc equivalent EVs are reality, governments can stop any EV incentives as they won't be needed.
  13. In five or six years there should be a lot of choice in the 200+ mile range, different body styles and budgets etc, looking forward to it. The Bolt is a good start for sure, just not to my taste based on the photos.
  14. Had a few cars that I recommended need more than one service for issues while under warranty so I stop short of recommending anymore. I also suggest they "check into" certain vehicles they might like, short of a recommendation, and make sure I sound uncertain about the reliability, telling them to make sure they do the research on that.
  15. Yeah because I want FCA servicing my botched plastic surgery Mazda...
  16. Let's see what the trunk and pass thru situation is.. Why no hybrid CRV?
  17. A mile or so closer to downtown from where I am, driveways are the exception, never mind garages.. Million dollar+ homes but vehicle owners get by with street parking. Then you get downtown and hundreds of condo highrise buildings are there, I cannot imagine the cost to retrofit their 6+ stories of parking spots with powered charging capacity but I'm glad to be around to see what happens..
  18. Brutal month for Mazda
  19. No floating C pillar, must not be good.
  20. For a company that came out with that "Mediocrity" advertising campaign about 5 years ago, their styling really cannot be called anything else at best.
  21. The 2017 Impreza interior is much less drab looking overall so that is good news for the next Crosstrek.
  22. The powertrain really was blah (CVT version)... if shared with the Impreza of same vintage.
