  1. Nice looking wagon, hopefully the cargo capacity takes a bit of a leap over the current model.
  2. GM only ever owned 20% and it was only for about 6-7 years. It did produce standouts like the Baja and Tribeca along with the Saaburus that made Saab very successful. Nissan owned that 20% for 30+ years before selling to GM.
  3. I'm still a sucker for the open pore wood interior version. When these came out a few years ago I was a huge fan. Not so smitten any more but I wouldn't kick it out of my driveway.
  4. I've seen and sat in the new Accord in person, and have seen a few on the road. It is much better than in pics. Living 3 miles from downtown and half a mile from the subway, we are going to be a 1 car household within the next 5 years.. If the Accord had AWD it would be on the shortlist for sure. Remember how polarizing the Civic styling was, and it pretty much killed the new Elantra and Cruze sales.
  5. We had a member here from Montreal (seemed to move on about a month ago) who had An Alero in the past. I don't see many of them, more Intrigues (maybe I notice them more because I had one).
  6. Only thing I've done the last 10 years has been to change front door speakers on two cars to better quality ones for better clarity/less muddiness.
  7. I found it pretty cool that they let journalists drive EV prototypes
  8. This looks nice, the performance figures are good, available 4Motion and has the hatch style trunk like the Regal, Stinger etc (bonus for the passthru). I'm impressed (though I share reservations regarding their featured colour). A fitting CC replacement.
  9. A double stroller or the big fancy Uppababy type ones take up too much room, but our smaller ones are ok for midsize cars and the larger compact CUV's. It's likely that 18 months from now the stroller days will be over for us.
  10. For me with a stroller coming along on most family outings at this point, we need the space. We also have started back up the ski/snowboard outings. Ideally our next vehicle will be a PHEV/EV AWD vehicle, but decent cargo comes before those requirements.
  11. To me the trunk on the Malibu hybrid is a 100% deal breaker. Takes a family sedan and make it nearly useless for a family..
  12. I don't think Hyundai is trying to compete with the Volt with their midsize sedan. Look at Chevy's lack of effort on the Malibu Hybrid with its destroyed trunk..
  13. Lets see how it does in crash tests compared to the established minivans...
  14. Should keep the Santa Fe selling well.. current one still looked ok but interior was getting dated.
  15. A quick take on it.. Alltrack SEL MSRP $35,660 MX-5 Miata GT MSRP $30,065 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk MSRP $43,295 Accord 2.0T Touring MSRP $35,800 F150 XLT 4x2 SuperCab, MSRP $36,680 Comes in about $1000 below the limit, I guess I would option the truck a tiny bit.
  16. Sportwagen Alltrack
  17. It would be nice with these flexible platforms like MQB, TNGA etc we got lots of variations, but so far it seems we just get more CUV variations.... xs, s, m, l, xl CUV from every mfg soon.
  18. Don't forget to add a CUV lol
  19. Here is what would have been the second gen Verano (still available in China). https://carnewschina.com/2015/06/24/this-is-the-new-2016-buick-verano-for-china/
  20. I wonder what happened with the Golf R in January.
  21. Man the Cruze came down with an STI or something.. but then Jan 2017 seemed unusually high.
  22. I wonder how much quantity of sub-Essence trim Regal dealers will be stocking.. They seem like badly configured fleet trims.
  23. Makes sense, would probably sell better than the Ridgeline. Santa Fe, Edge, Murano are nice sized CUV's.
  24. I doubt they are going to be releasing type-s variants of their current dated lineup.. only new models as they arrive.
