  1. Ventilated leather seats available in a Jetta... Would definitely like a version with the 1.8T and an IRS. I believe the current received an IRS in a midcycle refresh a few years back.
  2. They are visually not all that appealing to me, only time I noticed one was when they applied WOT and flew by me one time, that was pretty awesome.
  3. The Stinger is a Grand Prix GTP done right..
  4. I had a similar opinion after driving one at the Toronto Auto Show. Couldn't do much with it right in the core of downtown on a weekday but it would definitely be great for my commute.
  5. On fuelly, 2018 Camry owners are averaging 31.4 mpg combined with the new 2.5l engine, so maybe 27mpg combined will be the number for the new RAV4, and 35 for the hybrid.
  6. So disappointing that the Impreza/Crosstrek and now Forester are on completely different platform from their predecessors but still ape them in all of their dullness. Of course they equip them with CVT's to be that much more bleh. Subarus are more compelling when....
  7. I guess the new Altima updated 4-banger will be the powertrain in the new Rogue too.. But it will still have a CVT. I'm not clear on how well the Rogue sells vs the RAV4 because they bundle the sale figures with the Rogue Sport in the USA which is a completely different car (sells as the Qashqai elsewhere including Canada). Could it be that 50k of the annual Rogue sales are the Rogue Sport in the US.
  8. Exterior isn't very distinctive but this could be a performance CUV bargain. Interior is very "sporty" styled.
  9. The Acura CDX has been sold in China for over a year now, maybe they don't want to go that low end again in North America..
  10. Yeah I'm glad to see less gloss black, I would like to see a lot more contrasting material though.. In the seats, in the big piece that surrounds the ICE screen..
  11. It was still outselling the CRV, but maybe now they can do it with less discounting and want to move their production lines to TNGA. It is just another nail in the coffin of mediocre midsize sedans.. At least now they won't be an also ran when CUV comparisons happen in the press. Why can't they fit another CUV between this and the puny CHR? Maybe the upcoming Prius V will fill that role.
  12. Wow so many new autos at NY this year... Apparently with standard AWD in Canada...
  13. Looks great, sort of European looking out the outside.. And yes new platform that will also underpin the new Explorer as stated..
  14. Same length Rav4 with 39 cubic feet of cargo space for space comparison.. No shortage of legroom here either..
  15. Something with these figures don't add up, how can it be that long and have so little space? It is the same length as a RAV4 but wider.... The Rav4 has nearly 40 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats up. Is the rear seat cavernous?!
  16. They really did their homework here... I'm impressed how many options they are offering for different needs (higher towing capacity, better off-road options..). Much better looking dash than the CRV. Have to wonder if they will offer a PHEV version in a few years. Ok Subaru, you are on the clock.. hope the Forester base powertrain is much improved because I doubt it will look this nice.
  17. I agree, I'm very impressed with both. The Rav4 is the best looking Rav they have had by a long shot, enough to justify its lofty sales I guess. My gripe is still no Android Auto. The Aviator looks good enough to possibly overcome lack of interest in the Lincoln brand.
  18. Less cargo room than a Volkswagen Golf, seats up or down. I didn't realize they were going this small, I figured there would be an XT3 that was that small.
  19. Doesn't seem too long ago that "Looks like a Korean car" was an insult...
