I'm pretty sure Costco sells gas to attempt to drive traffic to their store, not to make much of a profit on it. I've just grown tired of the lineups so I rarely fill up there unless I know it is a quiet time, around 9am on a weekday.

Alternative Fuels & Propulsion RANDOM

2021 Venza (initially Hybrid only in NA). So in the last few years the Blazer, Passport, and Venza names are back and pretty directly competing with each other. -

They are also re-introducing the Venza to North America with a version of the Japanese Harrier model with a pretty much RAV4 sized hybrid vehicle but more upscale appointments. -

They certainly did their homework to make sure the RAV4 would sell ridiculous numbers worldwide, though the Corolla is still far and away ahead of it and the FSeries. I question the wait period for the prime as when my wife was interested in the hybrid it was at least 4 months for the XSE. Apparently the vast majority of RAV4 sales in Europe are the hybrid. -
Me too, I can not wait until we are able to relax and the max two week trips turn into two month trips where we can really just live elsewhere for a bit and not feel like we have to pack our days to get value out of the trip. Not sure where I am looking forward to most.

I don't think most people over analyze... Porsche has done just fine selling their CUVs and sedan to go with their real sports cars. The ground clearance is the same as a typical sedan and the centre of gravity is lower due to the batteries. -
I don't see an Audi A6 with a 174hp 2.0T engine that is the only one available in the Passat. I think the article was stupid to point out the truck engine relationship anyways given how differently tuned they are.
-
I don't think turbo 4 or NA v6 on a CUV would be the deciding factor for me unless all else was equal (never really is unless it is the same car with 2 engine options) then I would likely go NA V6.
-
Not sure it will do much for them with everybody buying 40-60K CUV's instead of sedans these days unless it is a Model 3..

chevrolet z28 Could the next Z28 be an EV CUV?

Somehow I'm thinking they will build it, and it will have side windows the size of my phone and enough cargo space to fit a laptop. -

I have yet to see a date from China as a whole on banning ICE, just an annoucement that they will at some point. That video doesn't even offer one and has a clickbait thumbnail with 2040 on it. -

IMO China is going to dictate when EV's become the norm when they decide to end new ICE or hybrid vehicle sales there. Probably by the time battery costs have come down 50%.. I don't have a great guess for when that happens, probably within 20 years though given the amount of research happening. -
Should just be able to search for Photos and the app should show up

For basics the photo app in windows 10 can do both (yes even basic video editing)

I have to wonder if aside from the stying and powertrain the next gen is going to be any good or filled with a bunch of annoyances like the lousy front seats and $14k 2012 econo car plastics. The Silverado has similar issues with the interior bits and front seats, just lagging behind the competition. -
Yeah I have an old sharp lcd it has that kind of power cable, IEC C7 polarized I think.

Yep there are areas not too far from me where you are lucky to get a spot less than 10 houses away down the street, trying to find a spot that will fit a full size truck won't be easy. These are urban row houses, 15 foot lots. My new neighbours are a young couple, they moved from such an area and had a Mini Cooper with a 2 year old kid, now they have a second child on the way and a Cayenne, now they can always street park in front of their house.

You are right, we are just west of High Park and walk there pretty often. My parents actually had their wedding reception in part of the park that photo was taken over 50 years ago. They lived downtown but could not afford a wet wedding so they had it at the park where alcohol was not permitted. The park is actually barricaded and closed as of yesterday to ensure too much crowding does not occur during the cherry blossom bloom about to occur. They set up a live Webcam in lieu but the quality looks like a 2009 setup.

The main intersection is Bloor and Runnymede, an inner suburb called Bloor West Village (some call it Bloor White Village) maybe 8km from Bloor and Yonge. Most the homes, schools and this library were built between 1910 and 1930. That library did have an addition about 15 years ago. My son's school is older, same age as our home but not as nice as the library. Kids playing there in the 30's, local high school in the background

Our local library in 1930 Modern times..
