I'm going to assume they will improve battery life if they can do it cheaply enough with the new solid state stuff. I went from max 3.5hrs screen time over two days to around 6hrs comfortably (I don't game on phone) over two days when I upgraded to my current phone and I expect now with 2019 flagship phones going to 7nm SoC's battery life has improved even more.

Not sure if Toyota had anything to do with the platform but it is the latest car be on same platform as all of their other models (Impreza/Crosstrek/Forester/Legacy) that were redone in the last few years aside from the WRX/STi and BRZ.

Computer and hardware purchase question - help
frogger replied to trinacriabob's topic in Electronics and Technology
Pixel phones definitely have top rated cameras for image quality. They are not cheap though, unless subsidized or you find an older model (not the 3/3XL). -
Hmmm.. With Fusion gone it is hard to see a future for it or the Continental in the near term.

Edge just looks like it got a slight refresh of the fascias and powertrains for 2019, dash is still the old style.

No big surprises after the Legacy debut. I'd be good with the turbo and that medium brown leather interior.

Hmmm no more 2.0T. Hyundai has some nice looking vehicles inside and out now but not sure I trust their powertrains.
-
If I could mix interior/powertrain/exterior in the class to make my ideal midsize luxury sedan, I would probably pick an A6 for the interior, but the CT5 interior looks pretty good in pics.

Buick Encore and Encore GX Debut in Shanghai :Comments

I get Kona vibes from the regular wheelbase version. -
So ATS was convertible sized.. CT5 is sub-subcompact sedan sized. Basically if you have a family, get a CUV/SUV.
-
I think the interior looks really good, much better than the CUV ones that have come out lately. The cargo volume thing, 11.9 cubic feet, maybe that is a typo.
-
Agreed.. I mean if it was a screaming bargain and cost 20% less than the V8 model I would probably be happy with it, but not for a 5 grand difference.

Hopefully the Benz doesn't look lame in real life compared to the pictures like the Buick does.

Chevrolet News:Mid-Engine Corvette Reportedly Not Appearing In Detroit
frogger replied to William Maley's topic in Chevrolet
Would be fine as a base engine if it had a kick ass transmission like a PDK tuned for it., but to me Corvette has always been about the v8. I would rather Cadillac had a transverse engine CUV platform with smaller engines and Corvette had v8 versions of it if they go the CUV route.- 62 replies

I tend to wait until my provider puts the flagships on special at certain times of the year like Black Friday, the flagships that are halfway into their year or almost fully through their year as the current flagships tend to go for about half of what they were new outright.. Obviously not Apple but Samsung, Google Pixel, LG, Huawei etc.
