I don't like wearing stinky stuff. For years there I used to get Stetson every year from my stepmom for Christmas. I wonder if she could see the fake smile when I opened it as she made a comment about how the girls love it. One year I just had to say "I don't wear cologne" in the most polite way I could. I never got another bottle of Stetson.

I find that the ride and handling are light years ahead of my S-10s. I've owned 5 S-10s, the last being a '98 extended cab ZR2. My '04 Colorado Z71 4X4 extended cab is a much more comfortable, solid-feeling vehicle. On trips, I get 4 mpg better mileage than with the 4.3L. Both trucks had 3.73 rear ends.

I defend Sixty8's right to post pictures of scantily clad girls with cars in The Lounge and hope he continues to use common sense in his postings here. I understand Fly's alarm at the porn link even though I think it's kind of obscure. Could this link somehow be tied to Cheers&Gears in a search? If so, I completely understand Fly's position, but I believe Sixty8 when he says it was inadvertent. I hope it's been fixed. I don't understand why Croc is coming across as an authority figure in this whole thing unless it is some personal hatred for Sixty8, which was hinted at in the "Annoying Emails" thread.

Oooo... interesting. I'm a VW fan with reservations about their current state, but that new Scirocco, at $20-$25k (a traditional VW value price! Yay!), could go a long way toward healing some wounds. It would look better without the chrome tongue though... maybe just the logo and crossbar and leave the rest body color.
