As long as he has all his proper paperwork (title, bill of sale) signed and dated he should have no problem leaving the US with his car. However I have no idea about getting it into Canada. Will customs want any kind of money upfront for taxes or anything like that?

The response from the DMV Did you check with your local DMV about how to get the car in to Canada? Where in VA are you getting the car? Honestly the easiest thing to do would be to haul it back on a trailer.

A friend of mine took his Silverado to the local Chevy dealer for an oil change, he asked the guy to reset the oil life monitor. The mechanic said "what's that?" Depending on the team enging costs can easily go $100k and up. They are not really streetable as they are built to last about 1,000 miles, give or take. So far the results on the new R07 have been mixed, such is to be expected with an engine still in R&D stages. Not all Chevy teams are running it yet. Jeff Gordon ran the old motor today and led @ 150 laps. Dale Earnhardt ran the new R07 led 95 laps but the motor failed late in the race. I am not sure if eventual race winner Jeff Burton (# 31 Cingular Chevy) was running the R07 or not.

Some of my bad and anal retentive habits My car keys are always in the left pocket of my jeans, my wallet in my back, right pocket. Anytime I walk out the door I put a hat on, even if I only go to get the mail/newspaper. I always ride with a window down a little bit, even if its just a slight crack, regardless of the temperature. No one touches my radio unless I say you can or you ask. No one outside of family drives my truck. Do NOT complain about or insult my driving, I will pull over and throw you out, it does not matter where we are. If you make a mess in my truck you WILL clean it, if you make a big enough mess you will wash the whole truck and I will watch you to make sure you do it right. If you smoke you must put the window down further than a slight crack otherwise I will put it down to where I think it should be and lock it I could be here all day writing about this but I'll stop right there.

I will be at the Nextel Cup race in Richmond on May 5. Although I don't think that there are many NASCAR fans here, just the haters who will probably call me a stupid, drunk, redneck, or something to that effect. I digress.
