  1. Actually looks like it will be a decent looking car. I would still personally prefer an RX-8 however. Chris
  2. The man obviously has some sense. Not just one but TWO vintage Mustangs! Chris
  3. It will be interesting to see what the democrats do when the big three start playing hardball with the Unions. Chris
  4. Ugly assed car! Chris
  5. One word-record of maintenance. If it has been maintained it will be fine...if not, your friend is screwed. 8k sounds high to me, around here that will buy more car than that but every market is different. Chris
  6. Ditto. I am enjoying how well moderated these forums are! Chris
  7. Ditto on the tubo thing. Word on the street is that the Mini Cooper is MUCH faster with the turbo than the supercharger. Hopefully the same thing happens to the Cobalt. Chris
  8. Sixty8Panther does NOT work for toytota P.R. and thus does not spin anything...other than the rear tires on the 59 Buick. Chris
  9. They are starting to catsh on here in Ohio, hopefully the trend will continue. Chris
  10. It is very nice looking "in the flesh" (or steel if you prefer.) Chris
  11. TL-S is better than the G35 by spades. Ditto on the interior quality thing. Front drive or no I would love to own one. Chris
  12. Funny how cars copy each other, though. Look at the front of a 65 Plymouth and a 65 Ford. Same stacked headlights, similar grill, same basic boxy shape... Which is why I like cars like the Mini Cooper S, Sky, etc. Life is too short to drive boring cars. Chris
  13. The Nova is a classic, classic good looking car that is a hoot to drive with that much power. Too bad good donor cars for clones seem to be going thorugh the roof price wise. I would like to build a Yenko Nova Clone. A co worker had a 27,000 Mi blue 6 Cyl Nova he put a warmed over LS-6 in. That thing would scream! Chris
  14. Actually, no. I just don't like most of the current offerings. Would you spend your own money on a Caliber? Besides, I think that I included the Sky, Solstice, and Cobalt SS/SC in my list of desireable small cars. When Ford brings back the SVT Focus I will be the first in line at my local Ford dealer to buy one. I am a huge fan of the Neon ACR, Neon R/T, The old Turbo Mopars of the 80's, and a lot of other small domestic cars. They just lost me with the Caliber and the Ugly, Ugly Focus restyle. Chris
  15. Actualy maybe 66 Mustang Ragtop (what else?) Make it a 4 speed. I'll agree on the Firebird thing but make mine a 67-68 V8 ragtop. Instead of an olds I'll take a 64 chevelle SS with a 4 speed and a ragtop, please I'll agree with the Yenko Stinger, seen them vintage raced, they are cool and rare. Give me a 68 Dart GTS ragtop instead of the Barracuda please...and oh yeah...a 4 speed. The Yenko is way cool until you see 10 high dollar clones show up at the same car show/cruise in. Chris
  16. As a Mustang guy I hate to say it but...Ford. Chris
  17. Come to the Mopar nationals here in Columbus, Ohio sometime. People old enough to remember still miss Plymouth. They built some great cars. Ever see a 64 Sport Fury? Plymouth used to build great cars! Granted I miss Olds a whole lot more. Chris
  18. Freddy Mercury sang for Queen and had testicles but didn't drive a Mercury. That being said I am sorry to see Olds gone. G.M. still needs to cut a lot of duplicate platforms. Don't know how they are going to do this. Chris
  19. Aside from the Mazda Miata, the Mazda 3, and the Honda S2000 we need to seriously ask the Japanese to stop trying to style cars. I am probably the biggest fan of Japanese cars here but their latest efforts are amazingly ugly. Chris
  20. Glad to see the 3 and the Miata are doing well. Those are two great cars. Chris
  21. Breaks my heart. (NOT) Chris
  22. Come on Brian, the Amanti is the "Korean Packard." This may explain why Packard went away in 58. Kia needs to do the same. Chris
  23. Troubling also is Solstice is not doing so hot...but Sky is way way up. I like the sky better but theya re both good designs. Woonder why the Solstice sales are down? Chris
  24. Exactly. The front of the G.M. Design center isn't the only place that needs the "Shrubbery" (Bushes) trimmed back. Chris
