    ....

LOVIN' IT! and the huge chevy symbol. nothing says american like the BIG BOWTIE! now let's see some sierra!
  3. DITTO!
  4. And we like a high beltline!
  5. And soon it will...
  6. yeah, but i think they should shorten it. SAAB doesn't need a vehicle that size. saab traditionalists would roll over and die. Can the lambda platform be shortened? anyone?
  7. i heard this is just wild fantasy speculation by motor trend. that this was considered, but not approved.
  8. i so agree with you! Brands can't have exclusive products if everyone else is whining that they want it too! i think a SHORTENED lambda for Chevy could be cool? that would put it at roughly trailblazer size, and not compete with the bigger lambda's? ANY ideas?
  9. No kidding, wtf mate! This paragraph is what makes me a little skeptical about their new "system": "“Without considering both quality factors, one might fail to recognize vehicles that are, in fact, excellent in certain ways,” said Ivers. “For example, BMW vehicles have among the fewest defects and malfunctions, along with Toyota. But BMW approaches controls and displays in a way that creates some problems for customers, leading to more design-related problems overall than Toyota incurs."
  10. BOF?
  11. Land Rover makes me giggle with glee!
  12. It's not just "painted D pillars" - On the outlook the rear glass wraps around and over the pillars. On the Acadia the pillars on the exterior and body colored. Also the C-D pillar window is a diffrent shape.
  13. Look at the size of the "Acadia" relative to the Tahoe sitting next to it. It's def not a theta... And you can't see the centre stack at all in these pics?
  14. Yeah the D-pillar makes a huge difference and makes it look a little more SUV vs crossover. I'm liking how GMC is doing the aftermarket style lights on the Yukon and Acadia, maybe it'll continue on the Sierra or Denali version. That chrome bar should be replaced with a body colored one tho, and the GMC logo should be placed on it. Not down on the side like the Yukon; cuz that's just sad!
  15. Your missing the point of my post. I realize the capacities of the current SRX dvd player set-up, my mom, aunt, and brother own one. I'm saying, it's cheaper, easier, and more efficient for GM to get rid of the rear nav player. And you just re-enforced my point. When my aunt is driving the little kids, and they start the dvd, she is UNABLE to do anything if they don't get it to work if they put the dvd in the back player. She calls it redeundant and a waste. buying the nav and theatre package will probably be cheaper than the same setup in the 06.
  16. From Edmunds Inside line... http://blogs.edmunds.com/Straightline/category/cat.SpyPhotos "Our previous spy photos of the 2008 Cadillac CTS confirmed most of the exterior styling cues first shown on 60 Minutes. Now our spy shooters have captured the first glimpse of a prototype CTS interior. You can't see much, but the few details which are visible confirm that the interior mock up shown on the 60 Minutes broadcast was in fact the cabin of the CTS." It looks basically the same as the concept interior on 60 Minutes. that's a GOOD thing! The line in the upper dash, around the top of the centre stack, makes me wonder if something pops up (Nav screen when in use? otherwise it stays hidden?) Any ideas on this?
  17. a) check other GM and non-GM vehicles. b) talking to my cadillac dealer, he said 90% of the SRX people were complaining that they couldn't control the DVD from the front seat c) since the SRX is probably utilizing the same centre stack from the escalade (or very similar) it's probably cheaper than having the seperate player in the back seat.

    ....

maybe this will be called something new? so chevy can have the impala can go RWD w/o giving up the FWD customers?

    ....

Are you kdding? that car is HUGE!
  20. they aren't down, there just aren't that many at dealerships (yukon xl/ suburban, etc)
  21. it's that same set-up on practically EVERY, it not all, vehicles that has rear entertainment.
  22. Because the DVD goes in the NAV system, there is no DVD player in the second row, it just plays on that screen. I highly doubt that'll make buyers look elsewhere.
  23. this would be a great GP!
  24. BADASS! THAT INTERIOR is a hot piece! reminds me of the NG CTS! and the PARKING BRAKE! that is how to do a parking break! concealed and USEFUL!
  25. He's still CEO, has the same office, and deals with the same people. Troy takes over NA, something Wagoner has said would happen since day 1 of the GM crisis.
