  1. the pictures aren't big enought to do justice. the tailgate bottoms and bumpers are completely different
  2. I agree, the old ones were much smoother and upscale. The twist dials are a step back to me...
  3. thanks! that's what i thought, too. fyi - They aren't all CGI, there is a picture tab on the bottom of the acadia flash site. right next to the autoshow schedule and 360* views.
  4. from autospies. It's looking pretty good! I'd like a good pic of the new key fob... http://www.autospies.com/news/2007-SRX-Cad...-interior-6620/ Be sure to notice the exterior "sport model" changes, and the nifty "upper" storage area hidden behind the wood.
  5. EVERYONE! compare the "airbag status" light on these pics, and then look here www.gmc.com/acadia/acadiaexperience.jsp they are 2 different centre stacks! I think (and hope) the ones on the GMC site are production ready.
  6. www.gmc.com/acadia/acadiaexperience.jsp
  7. i CAN'T believe they are offering HUD in the Acadia! fantastic! Now it HAS to be offered in the NG CTS!
  8. PS- the gmc.com site has the Acadia up, the sunroofs are awesome, as are the interior colors. Things to note: Is RED lighting the "new" GMC color? Looks like it There is a new "airbag indication light panel" looks MUCH better than the current one! The centre stack radio looks a little different than the Outlook, I wonder if this is more accurate to how the buttons will looks in the Outlook?
  9. I'm sure they will, but when a V8 become optional (and it will) i'm sure the towing rating will jump to 5000+. I'm thinking the V6 version target is for people with a small/med boat trailer or something, nothing HUGE. Those familes buy a truck or yukon.
  10. 19" wheels AVAILIBLE! I'm drooling already! This means the Enclave is SO gonna have 20" wheels availible!
  11. It's like that on all the the Lambdas so far. I LOVE the interior, it has a little sportiness to it, ME LIKIE LOT!
  12. Toyota's totally bizarre recall this is similar to some already posted topics, but the quotes in here were priceless.... http://www.cnn.com/2006/AUTOS/07/11/bad_recall/index.html example: (1) "The Tundras in question were built with an airbag shut-off switch but not the LATCH system. The solution? Spend lots of money and inconvenience customers...to remove the airbag shut-off switch. The move not only doesn't enhance the safety of these vehicles, it actually makes the vehicles unsafe for small children riding in the front seat. " WHY is toyota still having the "switch" mechanism, just put in an sensor like GM does? Can they be that stupid? (2) "Toyota has no other choice, Chris Tinto, Toyota's vice president for regulatory affairs, told CNNMoney.com. Placing the LATCH system in the trucks' front seats would have been far too expensive." IS THERE a price on customer safety? If so, Toyota must think it's pretty cheap! (3) "What's more, to comply with the rule, Toyota is currently building new Tundra trucks without the switches, Tinto said." hilarious!
  13. I agree, but I'm betting they will on the Denali trim models. The gray rocker panel area makes it look a little more "rugged" and "trucky" Which is fine by me, there is a reason why the Enclave exists.
  14. this is a fantastic birtday present! the interior is a HOT PIECE! I know what i'm buying next spring!
  15. Are we sure the license plate is moving to the bumper. I thought caddy's trend was to keep it on the trunk lid?? Nevermind that that's one of the worst renderings i've seen, but they forgot to photoshop or render in the CHMSL.
  16. haha. their full-size SUV and truck numbers are so sad!
  17. Excellent idea! Goshn didn't personally oversee ANY of the products that went on the market during his "turn-around" He has much less influence on products at infinit and renault, than wagoner and lutz do at GM. Products he "might" have influenced are the new altima, sentra, and g35. And i can't say his magical touch has helped.
  18. rear center console. (a la CLS) So there's the option of 2+2 seating in the sedan.
  19. the LUCERNE is a hot piece! look at that sucker sell! i bet 12k+ a month by september! the SUV's are doing pretty well. Specially since there aren't alot of EXT's and Avalanches to go around yet. go G6 and Malibu, HHR, and the roadsters!
  20. Looks pretty sweet. I agree, the exterior sunroof has got to go. a) it's looks tacky b) it looks CHEAP
  21. hotness! I can't wait to see the front sans cover. side profile looks very sleek and sporty.
  22. this is REALLY old news. and plug-in hybrids are a waste of resources. period.
  23. Off-topic, but.., With the impending death of the towncar, Cadillac could OWN the entire FWD large sedan market. While it's still the #1 selling luxury car, it has the potential to be the only one in it's category. It's a nice, big, comfortable car. It doesn't scream, RACE ME, so FWD really isn't that big of an issue. For the same reason Lexus has an IS and ES, there is not reason why Cadillac can't have an CTS (or STS depending who ends up being closer in size) and DTS.
  24. I'm liking the NEW key fob! Now we just need a little better pic of it. lol.
  25. STS probably, DTS is still a strong seller. And those old people aren't dead yet...
