1. I wonder if thats his way of saying he can't afford the payments anymore?
2. backfire
3. That's interesting. Thanks for sharing that knowledge. I didn't know that. I have had a few tricks with "cubs" in the late 20's, early 30 who like "Daddy bears", but I would never seek a relationship with them because I didn't want to support another partner and be "the daddy" anymore. It's nice to just be with someone and share good times and bad.
4. and puke
5. Thats what I was thinking when I posted the comparisons ot the Civic Si and MS3. Then someone made the reference I was "on something." 13 seconds is quite substantial in my opinion. I really hope this car is the surprise performance buy of the year.
6. I have been to Oklahoma more than a few times. I have never met someone from Oklahoma that I did not like. In 1995, I gave three pints of blood to the victims of those who were injured in the Oklahoma City bombings. I am a rare blood type (AB -) and lied about my sexuality just to give blood to people who really needed it. Following the F5 tornado of 1999 and the F4's that hit OKC in 2003, I gave more blood (two pints each) for those who were injured. After hearing her words and feelings regarding the GLBT community, I was thinking of my blood being sent to people who were in need, and this is a slap in the face to me and every other gay person who gave to the people in and around Oklahoma City when they were in need. Gay, straight, doesn't matter. We're all people, and I would think that a woman from an area who received more than enough direct hits of tragedy would be more thankful for human beings as a whole, considering the outpouring of help they got from the rest of the PEOPLE (gay, straight, transgendered, jewish, muslim, buddhist, kabbalah, christian) in this country.

I saw a red Smart ForTwo tonight. The whole car fit between the wheelbase of the Acadia.
10. That is for sure. I hope that my daughter never falls for one.
11. Are we sure there's not more than one born every minute? I hope he is alright.

13. Over the hill and on the decline? At 42, I feel like I am only beginning to live. The truth is, if you take care of your body by controlling what food goes into your body and exercising, you can remain young for alot longer. I'm far from on the decline. I got the goods to make more kids, but I like that the relationships I have with my daughter and son, and future daughter in law (ugh) are the kind where we are comfortable enough with each other to spend lots of time doing outdoor activities together and exercise together. Old and over the hill? Not me. I don't plan on being "over the hill" until I am in mid 70's. I want to be the next generation's Jack LeLange.
14. Its the same engine that the base CTS has. The DI would be a good inclusion to the G8 imo.
15. Back to the subject at hand, there's no chance of me becoming a new dad, and at 42, if I had the opportunity I doubt I would take it. My oldest son is 22 now and my youngest daughter is 14. I have settled into being the father of a teenage daughter and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I am glad I am beyond the diaper changing and terrible 2's. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but it was a hard parenting time for me and I just never want to go back to it. As for my daughter dating, she talks about boys who like her and I just have to let her make her own decisions. If she gets into a relationship that I see as dangerous then I will step in, but right now its all pretty innocent. I have had one boy come to the house to pick her up for a group function and he looked pretty nervous around me. I wasn't overly nice to him, but I didn't do anything to scare the $h! out of him. I'm 6'5" tall and 265 lbs of muscle. I don't want to scare him anymore than he already is. Hey Borger, life begins at 40. :AH-HA_wink:

17. Thinkin about this post last night, I realize that at first, the G8 GT will come with a stupid tax that will make it far more expensive than a loaded V-6 model.
18. I am really rooting for this car. The performance is amazing for a sport compact. I am hoping this car will shut the ricer boys up after it blows the doors of their suckin Civic Si's and MazdaSpeed 3's.

20. Gosh PCS, that was, what? 22 years ago?
21. Well, it is a different way of thinking. Just caught me off guard.
22. I priced up a fully loaded GT with Premium Package, Sport Package, and Sunroof for $32,745. I then priced up a loaded V-6 model with Comfort & Sound Package, Premium Package, and Sunroof, and the price was $33,735. Wha? A loaded V-6 model is $990 more? Come on people!
23. Well, which one is it son? I'm dying to know!
