  1. Thanks for posing the link.
  2. The 07 Altima has a fuel economy monitor like that buried in its DIC. The difference in the 08 is that they moved it to the area where the drive selector, mileage, and trip odo's were.
  3. GMTG, I'm sorry to hear you are selling the Sky. I hope that you find it a good home when it is time and get your finances squared away. Teachers really do not make what they should. If you did, you could pay cash for that Sky. Good luck in selling it. Keep us updated on the progress.

    CROSSOVERS

I call them "fat wagons" and I think they are the perfect combination of utility and passenger space. I can see them being around for 15-20 years before their image as a soccer mom mobile fails them.
  6. In reading the August C&D, there was a short take article on the new 08 STS with the newly offered Sport Pkg for V-6 models. C&D said great things about the car and never complained about the cheapness of the cabin. They just said that the controls for the radio/HVAC were difficult to decipher. They loved the way the sport pack cars handle and said that this option is a necessity if you buy an STS. They also, of course, said to stick with the V-6 instead of the V-8 and save $9500. On a personal note, the wheels on the Sport Pkg cars are beautiful. They are a nice 18" 7 spoke design, high polished or chrome. They are much better than the base or optional wheel designs I have seen.
  7. I was reading a friend's August 2007 C&D that had the comparo of a Mustang Convertible, new Sebring Convertible, and G6 GT Convertible. The G6 won the comparison. I was surprised since there were lots of back handed compliments coming from the writer about the cheapness of all 3 vehicles. Here's the way they all finished up: 3. Chrysler Sebring Touring Convertible 2. Ford Mustang Pony Convertible 1. Pontiac G6 GT Convertible.

  9. What are THOSE Honda driver's smokin?
  10. I think PCS has a little crush on Camino.
  11. Ok good. Some people should NEVER be teachers. She is one of those people. Education should be about exploring your own beliefs and expanding on it with facts and different viewpoints from well respected people in the field.
  12. I wonder what Stifler has to say about all this?
  13. Who let Harry out of his shackles?
  14. She sounds like one of the instructors who wants to be told what she wants to hear. Be careful in this class.
  15. It sure is. I miss that place. The best food in CGY. I moved down to Montana after ahe breakup of my relationship. I am close enough to go up for weekend trips. After rereading these posts, I am hungry for a gyro.
  16. I know which one I am.
  17. I dunno, I'm not feelin it. It just doesn't say Buick.

  19. Carbiz, your post made me think. I don't understand why others have such a need to understand another's sexuality. Sexuality is so complex as it is that an individual should try to understand their own and just leave other's to figure theirs out. I don't understand the curiosity. I have no curiosity about straight people, and it bugs me when straight people try to understand my sexuality. The best thing I do is I say, "when I am thirsty, I crave something to drink. . . when I crave sex I crave a man. you crave a woman, its just a different flavor of water/soda/beer/juice/mixed drink/water." Sexuality and orientation is just very personal, and having to explain it to my parents just made me want to turn myself inside out. <shivers>
  20. ================================================================================== A dog cannot replace the love and fulfillment you get with a spouse, but dogs do have alot going for them. They love you unconditionally, no person ever will. I have two dogs (one Newfoundland and one Bernese Mt. Dog) and they are a huge part of the family. You just have to have a love for dogs.
  21. ===========================================================Live your life for you. Don't compromise anything, especially your relationships with spouses. You can't take back the past, but you can learn from it. Your relationship issues are not your parents' business the same as their relationship issues are not your business. Just do the best you can and make yourself happy. If you find someone who makes you happy, then go with it.
  22. The Cards don't seem too strong this year. It's not over yet, so we'll see. The Brew Crew has always been a streaky team. They are going on one of their good streaks and stay there. They seem to have imploded lately. I used to like the Cubs, but they have become whiney over the last few years. I've totally lost respect for that team. Intrigue, no offense if I stepped on your team. I respect all ball players, but some fans you just have bad luck with.
