    My LeSabre...

Sixty8, yeah that was a joke. I didn't realize that this was such a close family that yall share cars. Wow. This is a special place.
  2. If I remember correctly, the El Camino was popular because it offered car like handling with the utility of a truck, and like a truck, they were tough. Australians actually use these for work, and they have a very tough reputation. If I am not also mistaken, people still like to have a truck around, but they also like the handling of a car and the fuel economy of a car. Now that gas prices are $3, it makes perfect sense to bring a truck like this to market. I think this is a vehicle whose time has come. . . . . again.
  3. ================================================================================ I never thought of that. hmmmmmmmmmm Interesting view.
  4. Beautiful car! Can we get a driving impression report from you Sixty8?
  5. I dunno about this move. It seems like they will be losing alot of revenue.

Thanks for clarifying that for me Paolino, just really glad to see color back on interiors. Now if they can just offer more vibrant colors for exteriors.
  7. Therein lies the shame of the Fiero. Once GM finally got it right, they discontinued it, much like the Corvair. (sigh)

    My LeSabre...

Wow, low mileage car. Did you buy it from a little old lady who just drove it to church on Sundays?
  9. It's good to see you back, especially after your harrowing car accident. I'm sorry to hear about your Monte. I agree with the others who suggest a used CTS. They are great cars, or maybe you can find a used Monte SS.
  10. Great discussion here guy. My point with starting the new design at the flagship model is that other models of the same design would trickle down, whereas Cadillac design language is trickling up, making STS owners upset that the new CTS now outclasses their STS. When you begin with the flagship and trickle down, I dont think this happens. Let's keep the discussion going.
  11. I thought a hybrid bicycle was ridden by a guy who was shocked when he slowed down and accelerated when he farted.
  12. Some automakers begin a new design direction with their flagship model (example: Bangled BMW 7-series). Cadillac does not do this. They began their new design evolution with the entry level CTS model. Do you think that Cadillac should have began the new edgy design with a top line model or the entry level car like they did back in 2003 with the CTS (as a 2004 model)?

  14. Unfortunately, the perception barrier will take time, but they are going to do it with better and better products. DCX interiors are cheap, and very stark to me. They arent visually interesting nor are they particularly intuitive. GM's new interiors are far better than both DCX cars and FoMoCo. FoMoCo just tries to blind you with lots of chrome. DCX cars are like crawling into a black hole. GM's new interiors seem to be just right in the glitz, funtionality, and comfort levels.
  15. Thats pretty cool. Saturn needs this car NOW.
  16. Honda Stream flows to the U.S. Market for 2009 What do you think of the Stream coming to the U.S. market?

  18. Cyclonic, any chance you can get any real world pics of the Commodore SS, Ute, Commodore Wagon when you see them?

  20. I sat in one and there are more hard touch services on the new C-class than the new CTS. I like the American design better, it is more visually interesting, less stark, and more intuitive I think.
