  1. Standard Operating Procedure fro UPS. The only place that is allowed to have emblems is the steering wheel. (Or hoods on Macks because the Mack Dog is a "hood pull")
  2. Wow... I'm so sorry to hear of your and regs loss. It's amazing how things can change in an instant. Don't beat yourself up about it, you guys were family and I'm sure he wouldn't want you to feel bad about anything.
  3. BECAUSE, "Hummer is the devil!!!!111" Doncha know?
  4. B/P/GMC is one division... However, the media fails to recognize that because they want to kill as much of GM as possible. (seriously... why else wouldn't they acknowledge the words SPOKEN from the mouth of Mark LaNeve?)
  5. Yeah... It does... In fact, it looks even more similar to the concept. Don't like my opinion, don't read my posts. So, they have one dude from Audi and that means they couldn't have possibly hired anyone from GM, Ford or Chrysler? (The article was from 2005-2006, that I remember)
  6. So true... The government doesn't know it's ass from a hole in the ground and, like GM, it's been watered down, half assed and too many things to too many people for 20 years now. This is an example of the poor planning and schizphrenia that has plagued DC for a long time. That got us into this mess and it'll seal GM's coffin as well. It makes perfect sense when one thinks about it. "GM needs more share and needs to make more money" YET "GM must sell less trucks with fewer dealers and half of it's brands." F*CKIN' BRILLIANT!!!!
  7. LOL... Wow, a sheep calling someone else a sheep... "Don't fear my shepard simply because you believed blindly in your shepard." (I just thought it was funny that we're now reduced to insulting people for the very same loyalty that we display, except on the opposite side of the argument) I'll take this, FTW, thank you.
  8. Subjective opinion on a subjective observation.
  9. And what exactly is that supposed to mean? GM retains the brands that account for 83% of it's share and that "isn't enough cutting" Me thinks that someone in Congress had a grandma that got ran over by a Pontiac... They're pushing awfully hard to eliminate as many historic and potentially profitable brands as possible. GM has it's 3 core brand strategy, what difference does a niche brand make? (Unless someone just has it in for the brand/company) Or do they think GM should just be Chevrolet & Cadillac, because all of the government official hump Toyotas as a past time? LOL, Not to mention, it's done all of the above on roughly HALF of the investment of those brands.
  10. One dead Pontiac brand... Coming to you in 2014....
  11. And I really don't see why GM would go with a Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac set up... I honestly don't ever see them giving up their 4 core brands in america, as GMC and Buick essentially constitute one division and both have a damn good case for survival. I'm sure Pontiac will be thrown out with the trash though.. Even *IF* GM went down to 3 division, Buick with it's global presence and more unique product possibilities would certainly win out over GMC.
  12. Simple... I watch animation for escapism, not plots and story lines. Therefore, anime is not my cup-o-tea.
  13. Hmm.... How convenient. subjective... subjective... subjective... subjective... subjective... subjective... We all know your bias... Unfortunately (for you) we all know what a failure the SRX has been. *YAWN*
  14. Well... Diesel was our way out of getting screwed over on the price of gas. So the powers that be decided to block that move before it even got a lot of momentum (via higher prices and more regulations) This is sad news... From what I understand, this motor was to be used in cars and trucks and was a revolutionary powerplant.
  15. Too bad I'm not interested in buying any of those 3 brands... And I don't really see what the number of brands has to do with anything, anyway. GM is not Toyota and it will never succeed as Toyota.
  16. This is a move that needed to happen and had to happen. I feel bad for Rick. He's a good guy and he did his best. GM's just a clusterf@#k of decades of doing ABSOLUTELY the WRONG things and Rick was one of the casualties of that. He has nothing to be ashamed of, IMO. I don't think anyone could've saved GM except the american people. And they can't even save themselves.
  17. I would either be really happy or really unhappy.... And that is the sticking point right now.
  18. Maybe something is spooking him while you're gone and causing him to panic and eat his way out(?)
  19. Only the beginning......
  20. I'm on it... Have been for 3-4 years now. I always hated it and MySpace until I moved away from all of my friends when I transferred to another school. Facebook is the PERFECT way to keep in touch (I ab-so-lute-ly HATE talking on the phone to anyone, I mostly text) That said, I deleted my MySpace when I found out they were selling info to potential employers (as a practice, not me specifically) If anyone wants to look me up, feel free to send me a PM. 2 things: 1) Yes, the new version sucks ass, when compared to the previous version... And sucks even m ore ass when compared to the first version. 2) Facebook is VERY different in nature than MySpace. In fact, there isn't even much of a comparison since MySpace is considered to be a part of Web 1.0 and Facebook (and second life and twitter, ect.) are considered a part of web 2.0 (In the psychological sense)
  21. I've just always thought it was cheesy and lacked substance, both visually and otherwise.
  22. They tried that little experiment for 20 years It's called BUICK, and you see where that got us.
  23. I certainly hope not... I wish for Saab to be an independent organization that remains under GM. (THINK: Mazda in relation to Ford)
  24. It's always a slap fight with some of the ladies around here...
