  1. I agree, will be their #1 seller, probably they’ll add another SUV. And it looks sort of good but sort of like a Mazda, could be better but isn’t bad. Interior is nice.
  2. And a rotary engine in the Miata crossover also.
  3. They should make a Miata MX-5 X-Cross, 2 seat convertible crossover.
  4. The 450 sells the most since it is the cheapest, pretty much the same as every other vehicle out there, the base engine is the top seller.
  5. Navigator is heavier and GLS has 2 engine upgrades over the 488 hp GLS580, plus all GLS have a 21 hp electric motor.
  6. It is a Mercedes, it has the Mercedes logo right on it. The Escalade is not in the GLS's league. Escalade is now a 2nd tier luxury SUV, as the Navigator. Rolls, Bentley, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Maybach are the big boys now. Even Audi with the RS Q8 has a 190 mph SUV, BMW X8 is on the way, G-wagen still there too.
  7. Oh good, another crossover coupe thing. Makes total sense that the model between 3 and 5 is the 30, and not the CX-4. Hopefully they come up with a CX-60 to slot above the CX-5.
  8. Maybach is about bling and showing off, I think that is why they want the bright chrome. They should put this 550 hp V8 in the Maybach S-class, maybe that is coming on the next generation, because I do feel like the Maybach should have a power bump over the standard model.
  9. The Maybach S-class integrates the lower grille better, and this is probably the Chinese market vehicle, they could always switch out that lower chrome mess piece for the chrome bar with gray mesh behind. And if you don't like that grille there is a GLS580 or a GLS63 that will each have different grilles.
  10. Looks a lot better than the Traxx, and better than a lot of these tiny SUVs. Tiny engine though, good price, I think they'll sell a decent number of them, but it will probably kill off the Trax, unless they get a new model in there. I feel like the Trailblazer should be more up level than the Blazer though, Tracker would have been a better name I think for this vehicle, and they could have used the Trailblazer name on another vehicle like a Wrangler competitor or something.
  11. Pretty much what you'd expect, S-class Maybach back seat in a GLS with mega legroom and recline seats. I think this is a good package, the 2 tone paint I like, looks expensive, as do the big wheels. It just has that "boss" look to it. Also nice that the mild hybrid system is added to the V8, and is now on the AMG V8 also. Good move with the raised hood ornament, looks more old school and big money luxury like Rolls and Bentley still do raised hood ornaments.
  12. At least it looks different, and the wheels are unique. The plus is it isn't a knock off Lexus or os S-class of the past like previous Genesis cars, this does stand out. I do think it could look dated quickly though. Interior is nice for the price point, obviously it isn't A8 level, but it is much cheaper too, so you get what you pay for. I think the letdown is carryover powertrains and that 5.0 liter V8 went on sale for 2012 model year, so now 8 years later it is the same thing. I think that turbo V6 is 7-8 years old too. Those are dated, no hybrid system or anything, it is just old when people want cutting edge.
  13. Probably as the new engine in the Malibu so sales drop low enough to justify killing it off. Then they'll replace it with another SUV.
  14. Better than the Buick Encore GX and at a better price. But all these little crossovers are starting to look the same.
  15. I love uplevel 1.3 liter 3 cylinder engines!
  16. I do like white and blue leather combos, but this thing needs more torque or less price.
  17. That all sounds pretty impressive actually.
  18. No doubt the Camaro Sport-Cross is coming soon as a Blazer 4-door coupe with the old XTS V-sport drive train on the highly sought after SS model.
  19. From everything I read, the CX-5 is one of the best small crossovers, and the turbo gives it more power than a lot of others. But I think $40k for any small crossover is a lot.
  20. The C8 had a better presentation. I was comparing the events. This Mach-e presentation was overly scripted and even Bill Ford seemed wooden and stiff, he didn’t even seem that excited. Tadge Juecter or however you spell it was super excited and passionate about the C8, he made you want to go out and buy one. Bill Ford and Jim Hackett didn’t sell me on anything.
  21. Obviously these sort of things are a lot of fluff, but they barely talked about performance other than up to 300 mile range and an estimated 0-60 time of the GT. They didn’t talk price or trim levels, or any features outside of Sync. And this was over a half hour, iris like these people don’t know how to sell cars. And judging by recent performance that seems to be the case. When the C8 reveal happened they gave you a price, features engineering, they gave you reasons to buy it. Every reason Ford gave to buy one of these Tesla already does, and probably better than Ford does it.
  22. Sells all day long at $55k if they make that a crossover coupe.
  23. It is a good idea and I am surprised they have not done it already. A lot on consumers want all wheel drive whether they actually need it or not. So this broadens the customer base and gets existing buyers to fork over another $1500 because they think awd is safer.
  24. I think it looks good, but it has a lot of Audi A7 in the rear, which is part why it looks good. But at the same time, since everyone is doing 4-door coupes, if someone made a 3-box sedan it would actually be unique. The decklid looks about 6 inches long which seems ridiculous, but there could be trunk space still with how big that rear window is.
