Yes, because that's all my family has owned. All those numerous Pontiacs and Chevrolets were just pipe dreams... I'm not even counting the Cutlass. I'm fully aware that it being unreliable had less to do with GM than it did other factors. My bitching centered around the fact that it was unreliable, not why it was unreliable. I don't hold GM accountable for that one. All those new or nearly new Chevies and Pontiacs, ranging from Sunfires to Blazers to Silverados, however.... You bet your ass I do. If you're going to rebuttal, do so within reason. These personal digs based on diddly-squat is rather mindless and ineffective.

Why should I give two $h!s about anyone's experience but my own? Again, it has been miss after infuriating miss with GM and my family. Call it bad luck or whatever you'd like. I don't care. I know which vehicle was reliable for me and I have every reason to tout it over any other vehicle that has disgraced our driveway because of my own personal experiences. Thus, do I care about you or anyone's vehicles here? No. Not yours. Not Z's. Not Sixty8's. Not Satty's. Not Dodgefan's. Not Camino's. No one's. Can you honestly blame me? I'm sure some random person's Civic making it to 500k is really going to make you go out and buy one, isn't it? Right? You're not hiding any ownership of Civic from us, are you?

I can't. I can't part with it until it's paid off. Even then, it's staying in the family, so it's not an option. Hit or miss is better than miss, miss, miss with GM.

I found out in the same manner. When it first happened, I exclaimed "WTF?" and turned the intermittent wipers down a notch. Per the car, my opinion seems to sour the more I drive it; the more I live with it.

Can I have a list? I know of about half a dozen within 50 miles that will probably be biting the dust.

In my opinion, they appeal to two different types of people. Styling is subjective, afterall. I think it looks fine. There's a few details I would have personally changed and that's it.

The over-simplified wiring harness is retarded. When you have one single wire for the power source, yet the stereo has four... and they are for individual things, it just doesn't work. Every car I've done a stereo installation in has had a normal wiring harness except for this one.

After three hours, some bloodshed, and too many installation issues... Only backlighting: Renewed use of my MP3 player: Remind me to never buy another American car again... Errr, atleast not to do another stereo installation in one. That was far too much of a pain in the ass.

It depends on how soon I get there and how much I have to work with. If I can realistically afford it, a Genesis will be on my list. Otherwise, I'm most likely reverting back to another MK3.

DXZ845MC = 80 Color Variable Display < DXZ745MP = 728 Color Variable Display. Haha, my DXZ845MC didn't have the right shade to match the Cobalt's backlighting (white). I didn't feel like going out and buying an all-new stereo since I have been satisfied with my Clarion. Instead, I searched for about a month for a DXZ745MP on Ebay until I finally came across one and purchased it. Now, I will still have my awesome Clarion and have the backlighting match since I'm a perfectionist bitch. I could install both if I wanted to. Muahaha.

I'm not crazy, I'm really not. The colors make it worth it.
