Fan is working. Thermostat completely slipped my mind since I recently had the coolant flushed. I hope its not similar to the Golf where you have to drain the coolant and remove the power steering pump to get to it.

I can't find coolant leaking anywhere. No coolant in the oil either... but it's overheating and those are my guesses despite that.

Getting back home from Chicago and either I blew a headgasket or the heater core went. I've got overheating issues in the CRX. I figured I would get my Golf out... and It refuses to start for whatever reason.

Brand new platform... Interior is far from crap.

US Passat is a completely different vehicle than the EU Passat.

A 200hp TFSI 2.0L 4-cylinder engine will be available with both a 6 speed manual transmission and a 6 speed DSG transmission. Fuel economy is expected to hit 32 mpg with the DSG and 31 mpg with the manual transmission. Inside, VW has given the GLI a new soft-touch dashboard, a flat-bottom sport steering wheel, and sport seats wrapped in red-stitched leather. Up until now, these features were only available in the European Jetta while we were stuck with a cheapened version. These greatly improve the driver's environment, returning a high quality feel to the Jetta. New to this Jetta is also Volkswagen's new Fender audio system.
