Hmm... Interesting topic. Not sure exactly what I can contribute. Well... I have an idea that regular "traditional" families have more of a chance to raise dysfunctional children than irregular ones. Anyways, other than California-esque type crap... Modern Culture evolving at the rate it is and what it is... is good, IMO.

I hate it when people clutter it up here. Its so beautiful, but then they have to dump their Mcdonald's wrappers and shit all over the place. Ugh... I'll admit, though, I've thrown stuff out the window before, but not in a while and it was something like used gum or its wrapper. Wait... I threw out a whole pile of trash when I went to CA for the third time a few years ago. :D J/k...

I never eat breakfast.

Can they be removed? ...Doesn't look like it. So... no open air fun... no good.

There's not enough platforms for what I want... But if I had to... GTO Grand Prix Could care less about other brands...

Ya know... I bet one of those conversion Vans would be awesome. :P
-
Yeah... not very pretty, huh? :P But thanks for for saying thanks. :D

Thank you, Razor... That's what I thought. Honestly, what is wrong with this? The absense of a stick? A clutch pedal? Really... What is it? For racing and overall ease of use, it would be much better than a fully manual tranny. Faster shifts, more steering control, less footwork. Seems logical to me...
-
Yeah... I thought about rust underneath. It really is hard to tell... but even so, it's good for body and some interior parts. And Fly... I'd pay $20 for it, atleast. :D :P

Oh... Alcoholic drink? Damn... Pepsi isn't alcoholic. I'm so stupid!! Smirnoff Ice Triple Black is the absolute best... Yum. :D

Well... here are two cars that are sitting in the woods behind my uncle's camp. The first is a 3rd gen Monte Carlo. The second is an 80's Impala. Ah... what wonders the woods can behold. :P The weeds have grown alot since I was around it last... so it kind of hides it. Anyways, the basics... The front clip and the front wheels are missing. The engine is there, but not completely and it's just sitting in it. The radiator is lying on the ground beside it. Inside the steering wheel is gone and the door panels (or part of them..) are lying in the back seat. The front windshield is... there, but damaged. The rear windshield is broken out as with the door windows. The rear ones remain fully intact. Each rear taillight is busted out. Otherwise, the body looks to be free of any dents and less rust than my dad's last two Chevy trucks. The engine is rusted, though. The paint... other than mold, being dirty and flat... is okay. Back to the interior... it doesn't look that bad, actually. The dash, if cleaned, looks to be in great condition. The seats and carpet are covered in mold and crap, though. Overall, it probably needs some work but if it belongs to who I think it does, can be had for very little.. maybe even free. Once again, the basics... The engine and trans are gone as well as the wheels. There is alot more rust on it than the MC. The interior... is not that bad, but disgusting. It really smelled bad as if someone pissed in it. The windshield had fallen over the dash. Every other window was broken out. There is more... but nothing worth mentioning and besides, my fingers don't want to type anymore... :D

I saw my second HHR not on a dealer lot today. Copper colored in Dubois. An LT. I also saw the new Jeep Comander. Wow... huge... old... boxy... looking. Ugh... I also happened to see my first G6 with the three spoke steering wheel. A GT sedan in red. Still haven't seen a coupe yet. Which sucks... but I just my parents had the money to replace the piece of shit Blazer with a G6... coupe or sedan... Oh well. *sigh*
-
Go Sunfire!
-
I finally checked it out in person... The interior is... I must say, not that bad. I still don't like the dual clusters, but the dash itself, I can live with. Same with the rest of the interior. The exterior looks even better in person. If I had the money for a new car... The Civic Si would be at the top of my list since there is no compact coupe available from Pontiac.

I know what a fully manual transmission is like... I have one. I would take one over anything. I was just making my point that it isn't the most important... as with everything else. Also, what about sequential transmissions? I'm not sure what the hell Empowah meant... but he reminded me of them.

I noticed this too... My avatar is absent. It was uploaded into C&G. I guess I'll just have to upload it else where....

Nah... According to my drunk dad, the GA wouldn't have made it. I know it could have. It's running as good as it can. I've logged almost 1500 miles on it now... not a problem with how its running. So... whatever. Allentown was quite far for just a meet. Maybe next time if it's closer.

Thanks to NOS and Sixty8 for helping avoid BV's anger issues. :P Anyways... yeah. The 84 was the one and only year there were issues with fires. It was recalled in 87, I think. And unless it was a car that the original owner never went it to get it fixed, it wouldn't have happened. And as Sixty8 showed, 40 mph is pretty serious. The Fiero got a 5 star rating in the crash tests. Some cars today, can't even achieve that. Also, while you can bring up instances of when people were killed, I can tell stories of when Fieros saved lives. What really angers me, though, is that people still have the idea that Fieros are death traps. Sometimes I just want to slap the hell out of them until they get it. My parents are two of them. This prevented me from getting one... So I get especially angry. I had the money in my hand, too, damnit. Now I'm stuck with a Grand Am that isn't nearly as safe and doesn't handle nearly as well. I love it... but it doesn't satisfy me. But back to handling... Nos said it well. No RWD car handles well in the snow unless you weight in the back (or the front in the Fiero's case). But on dry pavement, the 88 Formula and GT would handle excellently due to the $30 million or so invested in new suspension componants and it's excellent weight distribution of being mid-engined. BTW, if you want to correct other issues you may have with the Fiero, visit the Fiero links in my Sig. BV, your "friendly" Fiero fanatic. :D
-
Wow... First off, the Fiero was one of the safest vehicles in 88. The only car to beat it was a Volvo and they are renown for their safety. Secondly, the Fiero could handle like a freaking go-kart. It was one of the best handling cars at GM in 88. So get your facts right. You made two huge mistakes. I can't even take the rest of what you said seriously because of this....

My gut instinct... None of the above. Razor said it quite nicely. RWD? FWD is more practical and the GP GXP is proof that torque steer doesn't have to be an issue. Manual? Tapshift or such is easier being that there is no clutch and you still decide when to shift. V8 or V12? If the vehicle is light enough, a 4cyl can be great for performance... Like the Elise. Forced induction? All I have to say is that the LS7 in the new Z06 is naturally aspirated. It kills. See? None of the above. :D

What the hell? ...I don't see anything. Just a bunch of symbols... This goes for all of them.

Blazer... A goddamn nightmare. :P Anyways, I have many GM memories. Most from when I was really young. The first of which was my dad's old Cutlass. It was an '80s-something and two-tone cream/brown colored. I don't remember much of it as I was only about 2 (1990). Back then we lived in a trailer on Evans St. The other car was an 82 or 83 Plymouth Turismo. One specific memory was when me, my mom, and my then newborn brother were going for a walk. My dad pulled up and I hopped in the back seat. The interior was a brown color. That's about all I remember. I only have two pics of it... both don't show much. Also in pics, my dad had a jacked up red Chevy pickup. I don't remember it all. The second memory is from right after we moved into the house we live in now. I was about 3 (1991). My parents traded in the Turismo for an 89 Buick Regal. It was silver and practically loaded (other than leather and a few things). I remember my first ride in it... it was with my Grandpa who took it for a test drive. As we drove along, he said "this thing has more buttons than my truck!" He had a brand new loaded 91 Silverado. It was black and charcoal and had the 350 V8. He had many extras installed on it. He would always take us camping with it and the truck camper in the bed. Mostly up at Pymatuning Lake. Always had lots of fun. Back to the Regal... I loved that car. I always wanted it. It was a deer magnet, though. My mom hit two with it and my dad hit one. Because of this... the front was always different colors. My dad finally painted it a darker silver, but that was before he hit a deer with it. After he did... it just sat in our driveway until he finally sold it to my uncle who got rid of it shortly after. I only have a few pics of it... and most are of when the front looked horrible. I have the stand-up emblem from it, though. So that's a nice thing to remember it by. Another GM memory takes place shortly after that one. My dad replaced the Cutlass with a 77 Chevy Scottsdale pickup. It was cool. It was dark silver with light blue stripes on the hood and on the side. It had a custom chrome grill and push bar. Over the years the bed rusted and had to be replaced. After that, he spray painted it camouflage. I wish he hadn't now, but I like it at the time. A few years after he just painted over it with flat black. That truck would go anywhere, though. Through the woods and over logs. Through 2 feet deep snow and water. I have many memories of this kind of stuff. Eventually, it started giving him trouble and parked it. After that he put it up for sale. The next memory is of the car that started my love for Pontiac. It was 1996. My mom wanted a new car since the Regal was being repaired for hitting a deer. She looked around. She saw a purple car.. her favorite color was purple. She didn't know what it was, but she had to have it. What was it? A 96 Grand Am SE coupe. It also had a stick. She bought it without realizing it. So she had to learn how to drive it. What memories... She always stalled it and frequently grinded the gears. Because of this, the transmission and clutch did last long. Anyways, I can remember the extras the dealer provided for her. A key chain, a folder, and a few subsription to Pontiac Drivng Excitement magazine. I still have all of it. Very few pics, though. Another memory is of the car that solidified my love for Pontiac. It was 2000. It was my mom's birthday, so she and her sister went shopping. They ended up going to a dealer. She saw a bright blue car. A 00 Grand Am SE coupe. She test drove it. When I came home from school... I saw it parked in the driveway. I had always wanted my mom to get the new GA... and it was as if my dream came true. I just looked at it as soon as I got off the bus. For a good half hour. She didn't buy it, though. Just a take home test drive. I got a ride in it to go to baseball practice. She took it back. I got picked up in our 96. A few days later, though, she finally bought it. I loved this car. I dreamt about having it. I loved to drive it. Anyways, she was in this business at the time and went to a bunch of meetings. One night, she was drunk after going to a party for it. When the road that went to our house came up... She passed it and ended up taking a wrong turn onto a dirt road. That doesn't mix too well. She lost control and hit a bank then came into a bridge. Well, it wasn't pretty. Luckily the cops somehow missed her being drunk. It was her first accident. The GA was close to being totalled. It wasn't, though, and got fixed. Sometime after that, she got rear ended. Had to be fixed again. Anyways, we got our exchange student and realized that it was just too small for all of us. The lease was running out anyways. We replaced it with the 00 Blazer... and it was to hell from there. The last few memories are just minor. Including my grandma's two Berettas. They were both red. Nice cars. She replaced the second one with a 97 Sunfire. Pretty basic. She had it for a while and racked up many miles on it from taking alot of trips including a few cross-country ones. My cousin got his license and she let him borrow it. He totalled it the day he got his license. She replaced it with a 00 Malibu. It's loaded and dark blue. She still has it. Then there was my aunt's red 93 Grand Am GT sedan. A nice car. Eventually she replaced it with black 97 Grand Prix GTP coupe. Also a nice car. That was years ago... She ended up switching to a Neon. Next up was my other aunt's 87 Trans Am. A really cool car with a red/gray interior and dark red exterior. She still has it, but it has been sitting for a few years. I'd like to buy it off of her sometime... After this is my other cousin's 91 Firebird. I think I had wet dreams about this car. It was like new. He had his license for about two weeks. The roads were wet... He lost control and slammed it into a tree causing it to flip onto its side. He totaled it. He hurt his back and wasn't wearing a seatbelt. If he was, they said he may have died since that where the tree crushed it. He had it replaced with a jacked up and modded Ford Ranger. See... many good memories. :D If it weren't for that goddamn Blazer... <_< :P

Like I said... Go drive the GP GXP. Even C&D praised it.
