  1. Well... that doesn't make sense as the cause to me. I just can't find it to be logical with what I experienced. Maybe it's the way I typed it out... but I have a feeling this is somehow related to coolant, oil, and my bad headgasket. It's a gut feeling... IDK... Anyways, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. I mean, something is definitely not right but it is still runable and my dad didn't really find anything too worry-some. He's confused by it but told me to just keep an eye on it. I think I'm just worried about doing any more damage... Because I do want to sell it (haven't told him yet...). But the coolant was infact low...
  2. Hmm... well, let me point some out for you. Although, not all of them were distinctive just as not all Lutz vehicles are watered down and bland. I want to make that clear... Sunfire vs. Pursuit Grand Am vs. G6 Firebird vs. GTO Original Saturns vs. GM-parts bin Saturns Park Avenue vs. Lucerne Etc, etc... BTW, this was for [/i]all[/i] Zarella era vehicles, not just the 90's. So... Impala vs new Impala Aztek vs Torrent Tahoe vs new Tahoe CTS vs STS/DTS Etc, etc... Not to mention that Lutz has a standard issue interior design... They all have the same layout, same look, and the same steering wheels. The interiors may be worlds better, but you can't tell me they are more original or more distinctive. Same with exteriors. Lutz has a standard issue design. Many have similar lower fascias, similar headlight/taillight designs, similar shapes, same door handles, similar overall designs, and just a bunch of simularities... More than Zarella could ever imagine... FOG said it best:
  3. Wait... it was Election night? :P
  4. Well, I will later on if you actually do plan on coming. I mean... I don't even know if you'll be able to get a hold of me as If I'm not on the internet, my brother is. Most of my family says that they can never get a hold of us.. :P
  5. Oh... sorry, I'm retarded. :P Anyways, as far as I know stuff like that hasn't been touched yet. The oil was changed back when I bought it with a new oil pan and such other stuff as well. It was about to be changed with a new filter to accompany it, probably (been about 3000 miles)... I was also thinking about replacing the plugs sometime this winter. The air filter is relatively new still (K&N). I couldn't really tell you much about anything else... But I've only had it for about 10 months and have put only 3000 miles on it.
  6. Wow... I'm sorry for those who don't find it funny, but I'm lmao. :rotflmao:
  7. Nope... haven't really done much to it performace wise. Just never really had the money, time, nor dedication to. But I'm glad to report that the battery is A-O-K... :P
  8. Sixty8... divert your eyes to my avatar... read down it and see what you find. :D Yeah... :P Anyways, do you want some specifics on the location of Brookville? I can probably give distances from it to other various towns, county its located in ones around it, various roads that travel though it (there aren't many, lol), and other stuff like that. So this is Friday, then? Well, in any case, atleast I get that day off from school thanks to Veteran's day. I actually think this is the first year we've ever gotten it off...
  9. Honestly... that's not Em's fault. At all. He wasn't the first to talk about alot of sh!t that he did yet everybody made such a big deal out it. Is he controversial? Yes, but so is most other rap. Yet he is singled out... Most likely because he's white. It's just another form of existing racism as they probably think "since he's white, he's held up to higher standards" or something just as retarded. It really is f**king retarded... but don't blame him, blame the f**ktards making a big deal out of it. Frankly, I buy his stuff because I like it... not because of race.
  10. Well Blu.... as I just posted in the "No reverse lights" thread, I am not without a car meaning without transportation to and from a workplace. Basically... it changes everything now. I either have to get the GA fixed (if possible for cheap) or just go ahead and get what I can out of it and deal with it and see what I can afford. Damn. CHUD/Sevryd/Carnage :P No, he doesn't... but he kind of makes me hunt. If I had a choice, I probably wouldn't, but its not a big deal for me to do it. As for them callin' the Fiero that... I really don't know why. Well... wait. My mom's guy "friend" used to have an 87 GT and let's just say that my dad... hates him to death. Literally. The cops have been called many times... Maybe that's why.
  11. Southern New Jersey... Well I'm in northwestern PA and according to that 240SX located in NJ... about 270 miles or roughly 4-5 hours, I think. Yeah... kind of out of the way for you, probably.
  12. Well, well, well... You know how I said "I think it's a sign that I should sell it before something happens to it and drops its value severly."? Well I'm already too late. On my way to school this morning, I noticed all sorts of problems. First was that it absolutely could not go up hills. This one that I can usually go up it in 4th... Only 2nd wouldn't bog down. Also, oil pressure was in the red zone... or atleast damn near it. Temp wasn't in the red zone, but it was alot higher than normal at about 220. Then when I shut it off and got out of it... I heard something spraying. I didn't have time to look at it then as I had to get to class and it was f**king freezing and raining. After school I couldn't visually see any signs of something spraying earlier. Also, oil was at the correct level, but it was alot dirtier than when I checked it a few days earlier. I tried checking coolant level... but damn, it's hard to tell. I think it looked extremely low, though. Maybe that might have been what was spraying... IDK. Anyways, on my way home, it ran like crap. Completely powerless, tinny sounding, and gauges showing close to dangerous readings. I had to baby it home... So, I wonder how much it's worth now... :(
  13. Well... I'd love too but I am now out of car. :o Yeah... more on that later...
  14. Haha... yeah. Having alot of free time equals out to alot of time to post. Just be glad post counts are disabled here... I think my post count in the lounge will soon overtake my overall post count because of that. :D
  15. That makes sense... and I've been kind of looking for a job. My idea of not having a job to not interfere with school is kind of like a waste. I'm too unfocused/ADD to do anything anyways. So I end up cruising around, wasting gas, and being bored alot of the time causing me to go dealer hopping more than anyone could imagine and being on the internet almost 8-10 hours a day. Anyways, one of the salesman at the local GM dealer kind of sort of offered me a job there. Atleast I think it was implied. So I may go back and look into it... Then again... I have alot of sh!t I could sell that I want to as well. First there's my $1000 worth of 1:18 scale models, my bicycle, a bunch of electronics, and... oh I could go on and on and on... :P :D
  16. That still doesn't garantee anything... Frankly, relying on the words of another is retarded. They tell you something, you'll believe it no matter what. Where's the sense in that? Neither you nor I have seen any of it. Yet because analysts say wonderful things about it, we should believe it even though we haven't even seen it? BTW, the CTS was a Zarella-era vehicle... It is still regarded as one of GM's best even as vehicles with Lutz's touch roll-out. It basically turned around Cadillac's image. Lutz admitted that he would not have approved such a vehicle. Would it be fear of taking chances like GM needs to? As I look across GM's latest lineup... I'd say that's why.
  17. :withstupid: (and stupid is just perfect to describe the lack of a delete post feature)
  18. GM never regained the sales lost when Olds was killed... The same will happen with Pontiac, Buick, etc. It may work for Toyota, but it won't work for GM. To put it into perspective... Toyota is GM in its earlier stages...
  19. Well... according to Intelliprice (or whatever it's called), my GA is worth anywhere from $1200 to $2010. According to my brain, my 300EX is worth anywhere from $2890 to $3100. :D Hmm... that's still not alot. Damnit.
  20. Yes... the dash's main use is to be a pillow... that's why everybody whines like children about it... :P
  21. I'm deciding whether or not to sell my GA and my ATV... then deciding what I would get if I do...
  22. Not much around here that I know of.... Just the yearly Laural Festival in which Main Street is entirely closed for a car show which turns into a cruise at the end of it.
  23. Well, I'll believe it when I see as that is only your opinion. I've been told sh!t like that about GM vehicles before and I ended up coming off unimpressed. From what I've heard... there is a chance the CTS will by not being true Art & Science. Lutz has pretty much ruined A&S. The only true ones were the CTS, XLR, and SRX... all done without Lutz. Also the last Cadillacs too be perfectly styled...
  24. Not a GM fan, but a Pontiac fan and like FOG... I'm skeptical. I agree with FOG. Lutz really hasn't done much of anything. Yet, that is. So leaving the future out of this and speaking strictly about design... What has he done? Well, let's see... now each new vehicle has a cheezy and horribly placed GM badge. Now vehicles are less distinct. Now most interiors he's touched look the same. Now more parts are shared between vehicles than before. Wow... how nice of him. As for the whole Zarrella thing and 80s/90s vehicles... First off, Zarrella was in marketing. Second, yes he sucked. Third, yes many vehicles were crap. Fourth, you're missing the point. Whether they were unreliable, were of low quality materials, and had terrible fit/finish is totally irrelevant. Most of that is what ruined GM, not the designs. They were more distinctive whether you liked them or not. Atleast the 90's ones were. Now most GM vehicles all look bland, watered down, and the same - inside and out. Kind of like the 70's and some of the 80's all over again... And as for AH-HA... well there are more reasons than just styling that would make him consider buying one. That and looking good and looking distinctive are two totally different things. Now as for the Escalade... I have two eyes. I use them for seeing. I'm not blind. I can see. What do I see? I see a Tahoe/Yukon with different wheels, a different front, and different taillights. Nevermind the interior as I can't see it. Minor things like trim and colored pillars are just that... minor. As for the actual design of it... From the crappy lieked pics to all the spy pics and even to Chis's chop which looks like an exact match to those... I can say that I am unimpressed. Will my opinion change once official pics are released? Possibly, but why bother post stuff like this to not comment on it?

    Walk The Line

I'm not a big country fan, but I liked him and his music. I definitely want to see it.
