  1. Okay guys... it's pretty much ready to be sold. I'm just unsure how much to sell it for. I mean... I really think it's worth more $500. I really do. The body is in good condition with a few dings here and there. The paint is glossy, but is chipped in the front and there are a few scratches here and there. The bumpers are slightly faded, but only noticable up close. The wheels are somewhat corroded. The windows are crack free with very few chips. The only real problem with the exterior is the lack of a driver side mirror. The interior is almost perfect; clean cloth, mostly clean carpet, no rips/tears, only one stain (rear seat), and no cracks in plastic (except the bottom of the doors aren't screwed in completely as some have broken). Everything except the horn and the A/C work. It does run but with the noticable ticking and knocking. There may be a coolant leik, too. The brakes work fine except for ABS (it's not that important anyways, IMO). The parking brake works as well (it finally started working about a month ago; IDK why it wasn't). The suspension is perfect. Also, it does have some mods including: Sony front and Visonic rear speakers, Jensen CD/MP3 receiver, DEI Viper security system (not hooked up, though - don't know how to), K&N air filter, Silverstar foglights (talk about a waste since I just bought them... ), White Cyber side-marker lights, AVS headlight covers, and a "Grand Am GT" window sticker (it has to have some affect on its worth... like $.25 :P ). Then you have to put into account all the money that has been put into the engine (probably redundant, but it wasn't cheap, damnit) including a new radiator (which can be turned on manually too), new oil pan, new timing chain, and new headgaskets (which is probably why they're leaking - thanks dad). Not to mention the $250 in new rear tires (got ripped off - thanks Sears). I feel like I'd be practically giving it away for only $500. Especially after looking at some Blue Book values. I thought $2000 would be pushing it before the problems, but some priced it more than that. I just cannot sell it for only $500. Hands down, I won't do it. Me and my dad have too much money invested in it (I bought the car, he bought most of the parts).
  2. Congrats... those are cool cars, but I like the coupes better.
  3. :rotflmao: I'm extremely sorry, guys. It started out as hatred towards my PC which f**ked up for billionth time, but somehow twisted itself with my boredom and turned into parts of different series. I was paranoid at the time. Not to mention the sleep pills I was wired on. Yeah... it's f**ked up and I can't really explain it.
  4. Oh... but I still linked to the wrong car. :P
  5. Woah... hold up. That doesn't have a buy it now option and isn't really overpriced at all. It's not the right car. I'm not sure if I put the right link with that... Ignore it until I fix it, but I made a mistake. So, thanks for calling me an idiot. :D
  6. Ebay! It's great to be on my bro's PC! :D Why is it that I can't afford anything? This is calling my name (and it's actually a Pontiac!), but it's just way too much. If it's starting bid price was it's buy it now price... it'd be mine! This is a car I haven't thought of. Wish it had a buy it now price as I don't to do the whole auction thing... If this wasn't horribly overpriced, I might actually consider it. It's neat car even though I hate the front styling. I'd have to do something about if I ever bought one... People just love to overprice Hondas... don't they? This is quite ridiculous. Damn... this looks good. Again, can't afford it though... Anyways... why is it that I can't find any 240SX's that I like and can afford? Especially S13s which I am starting to like more than S14s...
  7. There is a reason this site had the title "GM's biggest fan's and thoughest Critics". All anyone wants here is for GM to succeed. That's what I want. But if I don't like what I see, I'm not going to lie about it... Basically that's what you're suggesting. Supporting everything the General does even when I don't agree with it would give GM false impressions. It's just idiotic.
  8. 2+2... Catalina... same thing basically as it's just an option package. :P Regardless it's one of my favorite 60's Pontiacs. Other's include the 65 GTO and the 67 GTO.The rest were just alright, though. Generally speaking I like the stacked headlights Pontiacs over ones with horizontal headlights...
  9. Suuuuure... :P

And shall be given to top three posters for free...? :D
  11. Wow... pretty damn clean.
  12. Very interesting... very interesting, indeed. Again, can't really afford it and maintainance for the Rotory engine may be a bitch, but it was a surprise to find...
  13. I'm with Cort... that has to be a typo, IMO. Although, I guess it could happen. I mean, when I drove my GA... it chugged gas. I never calculated gas mileage but it couldn't have been all that great seeing that $5 lasted less than a day... (roughly 30-40 miles...)
  14. BeeVee-BeeVee sat on a chairee. BeeVee-BeeVee looked at his PeeCee. BeeVee-BeeVee noticed it was frozee... againee. BeeVee-BeeVee then threw the f**ker out his f**king windowee!!! Why, hello there. I have some unfortunate news for you all. BV has gone off the deep end. I hear that his PC pushed him to it. It always gave him a hard time. Please keep an eye out for him, anyways. He has gone crazy and is likely to freak out at any of you. If he does, here is a dart gun. Use it for its purpose only if he does. Be careful. As he runs through the forest, he yells and screams for the pain to stop. He can't stand the feeling as he trips over a log. He falls while trying not to. A rusty pipe poking up through the leaves tears into his flesh. With it sticking out of his stomach, he tries to get up. As he is doing so it catches on a tree and rips tissue open. Blood gushes out and he trembles to the ground. He let's out a chilling shriek as he holds the wound. He feels the pain and senses the start of his troubles racing through the woods. He will no longer take it as he graps his pocket knife. He whispers "This is end... nothing will hurt me any longer". He slices his wrists then slices his throat. He suffers to breath as... It is common to not find pleasure out of a dying computer. One never wants to deal with the realities of it. Regardless, one must once it occurs. Farewell, my brothers. I shall miss you all. Die gracefully. The end.
  15. I've been trapped... at home... since Wednesday... damnit. *twitch*

Well, again I am implying absolutely nothing... (take a hint, damnit)
  17. I think that's a '65 Catalina...
  18. Meh... I'm not a fan of this idea. First of all, I believe that only one name should be applied to a body. It's confusing and just says you're too cheap or not creative enough to give it its own styling. Second, the GTO's body isn't much to get excited over in the first place. It's outdated and bland. It looks good, yes, but it seriously lack's attitude. Third, there would be alot of overlapping. You can't have overlapping unless you overlap the right way. Yes, there is a right way. :P It'll take me explaining my entire idea of how Pontiac should be to explain it, so I demand you to understand it and not ask me. :D
  19. Yeah... overpriced it is, but it hurts me to say that my mind is wired in a "price doesn't matter sort of way" even though I'm poor as sh!t. :P Hehehe... mock all you want but I'm very open-minded towards anything that isn't a Ford or Toyota. I despise them for the most part. There are some I like as I pointed out earlier in this thread. But yeah... I'm hell's Pontiac fanatic. No question about it. I just can't see a Pontiac in my price range and am able to get that I'd want. I mean... what I want is something with a manual transmission (required... will not even consider an auto), 4cyl engine (not required, but heavily favored), and only 2 doors (required... no sedans what-so-ever). On top of that, I need something reliable. I'm a Pontiac fan and even I can realize that this was never something Pontiac shined in. It's probably the biggest deciding factor against another Pontiac. I just can't deal with it at the moment. I don't have the time nor the money. I love them, but can't deal with them. Atleast the ones that fit my wants... So...
  20. Wow... not bad. The color sucks, though. Too bad I probably can't even afford it at only $4000. Oh well... my search continues as I ready my GA and 300EX to be sold.
  21. The front isn't my biggest beef with it... It's the body. It's so plain and similar to the other 900s. I don't care what the vehicle's intended market is, it's a Cadillac and you do not do this. It was my biggest beef with the previous Escalade too. They're both just as bad as a Cimmarron in my eyes... I mean, it's a freakin' Cadillac for christ's sake.
  22. Wow... the top of the bumper looks retarded. That and it doesn't even line up with the fender.
  23. Uh... it's completely different. It shares nothing with them (well... maybe the steering wheel :P )... So...
  24. God... you people miss the most blatantly pinned threads...
