  1. People who think people who hate FWD haters are RWD haters... HA! But I really dislike my house right now...
  2. This just keeps catching me off-gaurd... I realize that the Aura is going to be a much better vehicle than the G6 and the Malibu, but can we honestly expect it to overtake the other two in sales with it's limited dealer network? It is just a midsize sedan and I can't see people going out of their way just for it. That and the better car doesn't always equal better sales. Look at the G6, I think most people here would say it is a better car than the Malibu...
  3. I know that and I didn't say anything belittling to the Corvette...
  4. FWD haters.
  5. Well, Balthy... 55 is freezing to me. Usually it's about 75-80 throughout the entire house... :D As for the water pump... well, not all the electric was out. It was just certain things and the everything in the basement didn't look to be effected. It was mostly the second story, as mentioned. I guess that could be why, though... I mean, I don't know what circuits lead to what. :P
  6. Why the 80s and 90s appeal to me the most... using pics. :D More to come..
  7. What a lovely day in the village of Ramsaytown it is, today. Snow storm. Electical short. Limited heat. No water. No car. That's what I'm experiencing at my house right now. Starting last night around midnight, we recieved a snow storm. It was enough for Brookville to cancel school today. There's about 6" of new snow over the few inches we already had. My mom's Blazer had trouble making it out the driveway this morning. It's very cold as well. Earlier last night, a wire shorted out somewhere in our house. The entire second story as well as the ceiling lights on the first story and a few other things are now out. It has happened before, but it was always a fuse. All fuses are fine so the only conclusion my dad and I can come to is a shorted out wire somewhere. This has caused a limited source of heat. A wood furnace. It can only heat the first story. The second story is heated by using several electric heaters, which are now useless without electric. It was cold night in bed last night. According to how I felt and what my alarm clock with a built in thermometer read: 55 degrees. We have no water either. Sometime during the night we lost it somehow. We have a well, so I'm not sure how unless something froze or the system's backflushing when it shouldn't be. If it's the latter, that takes almost 12 hours usually. If all of that wasn't bad enough... I still have no car! :P Meh... It's okay, though. I moved my stereo downstairs and am taking cold medicine. :D I'm satisfied.
  8. Oh NOS... I love my snow today I had today. Seriously, I'm at home right now listening to music.
  9. Okay... I came across this pic and it instantly helped me pick... :D
  10. Well... I'm not a fan of the Malibu at all and I am hell's Pontiac fanatic... So... G6 GTP of course. Even though MT had to throw in a few strongly biased lines, they praised the actual car. That gives me some hope in it.
  11. Where are all these people coming from?! ...Haha, thanks once again. I feel loved. :D
  12. Okay... to be more specific about what I meant, I strongly dislike modifying one car to look like another. I hate when people do it to Fieros and in this case as well. I mean... it looks alright but I can't get past my hatred for this sort of thing.
  13. Well... my heart lies with the 80s and 90s. I don't think I could pick between the two..
  14. And I thought I was immature... Wow... Anyways, I love the NSX. It's a well-rounded performer with superb handling. Regardless of it having "only" a V6 it has an excellent power-to-weight ratio thanks to its light weight. Being mid-engined it also has excellent weight distribution. As siegen has mentioned, they are quality pieces as well. I just don't see why some people bash it... The quintessential sports car is one that is mid-engined with a low power-to-weight ratio, IMO, and the NSX fits perfectly. Perhaps it's jealousy? :P Yes, that must be it. Jealousy of wonderful ME sports cars. :D However, I like this one more than it... :AH-HA_wink: T'is my favorite.
  15. Yup... pretty much. :D :P
  16. Damn, now I can't beat you in a race. :P
  17. Wow... thank God PM sucks at this because that isn't exactly beautiful (although it somewhat resembles one of my past designs, minus the huge overhangs). NO.. but now we know what you have on your mind. Hahaha... WMJ, have I been a bad influence of you? :D
  18. Finally got to read it in person... MT is going to visit me in hell for that. *grins devilishly*
  19. Capriceman... I don't know what to say to you. :P
  20. Um... what?
  21. Some people... are mean for turning a beautiful 240SX (or 180 or 200 since it looks to be rhd) into an old Datsun. I shake my head in everlasting shame.... :D
  22. I wouldn't expect you to be wowed.. :P Even I am not wowed. I just don't care all that much. I don't sleep on the dash and I don't pet it... So as long as the dash looks good while the steering wheel, controls, and shifter feel good; I'm happy. :D
  23. :P ...Okay. The design isn't the greatest. I realize that and even I don't like it all that much. Everything about it is exaggerated and excessive. The lack of brightwork makes it even moreso. Still... I'm just trying to defend the dash plastics. Yeah, the center stack plastics are terrible, but on what 2004 or earlier GM vehicle honestly didn't? Not many, if any (again, luxury is always excluded for obvious reasons). But the actual plastics on the dash were acceptable and moreso than some vehicles like the 06 Impala. I can't comment on door panels and such since I'm not an interior freak like many here. I felt the dash. The Impala's had similar quality plastics on the very top, but from the faux wood down... it was hard and shiny. On the Grand Prix... it wasn't although the dash has no interepting design until the glove box with is quite low. I'm not sure I felt that far down. Even then, the majority is of the better quality plastic and it has more than the Impala. As for the rest, yeah fit and finish is about as poor as it gets. I never argued against that. As for elaboration of the changes made incase some didn't realize it... The center stack was revised to include the passenger air bag moniter as well as a slightly different Driver Info display design. Chrome was added around the vents and the door handles. All silver trim was replaced with aluminum looking trim. The center console was also revised where that round control thing was removed; I forget what replaced it. The center of the steering wheel, "GP", was replaced with a Pontiac emblem. On the G6, the center stack plastic was changed. It is now the same plastic as the rest of the dash. Also, small chrome touches were added here and there. The radio and climate knobs, basically. See... while I'm not an interior freak, I am a Pontiac freak. I notice even the slightest of differences.
  24. OR... I could raid some junkyards for cheap tires like you. School? Pfft... highly overrated.
  25. I couldn't forgot even if I tried to since it's the same day as my B-day... :P 47 years apart! :D
