  1. 1) Styling. If I don't approve of how it looks, I won't own it regardless of anything else. An ugly car is a safety hazard as it takes people's attention off of the road and onto it. No ugly car, no one to run into my car. 2) Size. If I find it to be too big, I won't drive it. Land barges are bad for your health. Clown cars aren't. Smaller is always better, obviously. A small car means a happy BV. You don't want angry BVs on the road. 3) Transmission. If I cannot shift my own gears, I cannot operate the transmission. If I can't operate the transmission, I can't drive properly. If I can't drive properly, I might wreck. If I might wreck, I might kill you. Nobody likes a murderer. 4) Engine. If I have to pay out of my ass to pay for gas because of my lead foot, I can't put gas in it, therefore I cannot own it. 4cyls are the only way to not burn a whole in a my pocket without driving like a granny. I don't want people mistaking me for Mrs. Buttersworth. 5) Type. Anothing other than a low and sporty coupe is forbidden. No questions asked.
  2. Um... I'm still 17... I think.
  3. Just a question... are we ever going to get different skins for the forums themselves? The endless blue, blue, and more shades of depressing blue is... well, depressing.
  4. Yes, as well as Steven Adler, Izzy Stradlin, Gilby Clarke, Slash, Matt Sorum, and Duff McKagan. Without each and every one of them... GNR just isn't GNR. Specifically, though, Slash and Duff. That is the GNR that I know and love. More or less, the original band members are more associable with LA Guns than GNR, IMO. The... uh... updated GNR, however, just doesn't compare with either, regardless.
  5. I do agree that GM has too many vehicles. Also that GM has too many brands as well. GM needs to change that and what I mentioned. GM isn't very efficient either. Another thing that needs to change. Once... well, if... all that changes, GM wouldn't have a problem with lacking the resources.
  6. No, it's not a Pontiac. Satan drives a Firehawk. Sorry.
  7. GNR is not GNR without the rest of the band. Period.
  8. Hmm... first car, eh? To me, a first car should be... Reliable, inexspensive, safe, simplistic, and efficient. That excludes... anything that isn't Japanese. Nowhere near what I'd want, but... it's what CR and others tell me is right. Haha... nah, although the constant issues were annoying, my GA wasn't a bad first car. It was cheap, somewhat fun, looked good, and I like it. What more could I possibly ask? Other than it being a 240SX?
  9. On the right car, yes. Otherwise, no. Most cars today, though, also a no.
  10. Well... sounds intriguing, but I don't even know where to find the most common drugs, let alone this. Although, if I tried, I probably could... Brookville is far from "clean", if you know what I mean. Anyways, yeah, wouldn't find it if I wanted to.
  11. Exploring all possible vehicles to choose for '06... -Super rich: Bugatti Veyron -Rich: Aston Martin Vantage -Kinda rich: Porsche Cayman -Not rich: Saturn Sky -Poor: '88 Pontiac Fiero GT
  12. You see... Flybrian and his lack of smilies. Except... this time the jokes on you. Anyways, I don't live in a city, have no desire to live in a city, and if I continue on my current path of life, will probably never have to live in a city. Win, win, win. I get to drive what I want without all this worrying. Yay.
  13. Congrats, Sixty8. Looks nice, but it really needs the nicer looking headlights and wheels. Then it'd be... well, about as perfect as that particular Q45 could possibly get. Damn, though. You have a Datsun Maxima and soon an Infiniti Q45. Now all you have American is your Camaro, right? "Who would have thought it?"
  14. Bah... you all suck. Once I am feeling better and this goddamn headache goes away, I'll show you a real ideal Pontiac lineup without alphanumerics, FWD, or questionable ideas. Yes, when it comes to this sort of thing, I like to act arrogant. I mean... I am an insecure cocky Pontiac fanatic.
  15. I think I remember that... I'll have to look at my collection.
  16. Like GM, man! I tried... they denied my ass. Appearantly Modern Driver wasn't credible enough.
  17. Exactly. This is the appeal of GM, yet it doesn't capitalize on it. That is the problem. Again, the same thing. That's an example of GM not capitalizing on this. We have Chevy with a high performance car, a performance coupe coming, and a performance oriented compact. Then we have Pontiac with a rebadged mediocre ho-hum minivan, a rebadged average ho-hum SUV, a rebodied Toyota, and no performance trim on the best seller. That and the only RWD vehicles are niches? I just don't get GM. One brand is supposed to be one thing while others are supposed to be another. Yet, in the end the brands competed with each other, whine about each other's existance, and sometimes have controll over what each other get? I'm not necessarily against any brand, but something needs to change about that, IMO.
  18. Well, other than the tacked-on ground effects and the ugly hatch glass... I don't think it's all that bad. It's not nearly as frumpy looking as our Civic.
  19. Yes, NOS. Popped collars are bad. Really bad.
  20. Well that depends in which department you're talking about, i.e. styling or mechanical.e.g., when you're talking to BV, he'll say the Firebird is better than the Camaro, and the Fiero trumphs everything. What? Anyways... some day, I will have a Firehawk.
  21. Oh... it's a long story, not a pleasant one at that. If you'd like to know, PM me. I just don't feel like explaining all of it on the boards. Sometimes I get the impression that the posting of my problems isn't always welcomed here by some members...
  22. Sir Variance... Welcome. You're another person I've had to watch join the staff.
  23. Brookville, too, stopped a Walmart from being built in it mainly due to it's Historical nature. Same thing with a mall... *sigh* Sometimes having to drive 25-30 miles to go shopping is a pain, but oh well...
  24. I saw it. It's better than PMR, but it's a true rip-off of it.
