  1. So yeah... guys with bad taste... tell me what's unattractive about this: You can't bring up that it's not stock either... wheels don't count and are the only visible changes
  2. Do I have to say it?

    Pictures!

Dude... I... remember those... Um... thanks...?
  4. Sixty8... has anyone ever told you that you this is the year 2006? Air-cooled engines just don't cut it. ATVs aren't even air-cooled anymore, neither are motorcycles. Air-cooling simply isn't efficient enough.Anyways, the fact that you posted that said a 996 GT2 is "good-looking" says something... Besides, classics are classics. You have a taste for classics. Ofcourse they are going to look better to you. But the Boxster and Cayman are quite possibly two of the sexiest sports car you can buy. I know it might be hard to admit since you keep forgetting this is 2006 and not 1976, but once it's 2036 it'll be obvious to you. The Corvette has the power while the Cayman and Boxster have the looks, the handling, and the luxury. I know which is better. The Boxster isn't ungainly looking, so I don't see what you mean. But hey, you're selling a one-of-a-kind Firehawk... You must have something out of whack in that brain of yours.
  5. I don't need a V8... or even a V6 in many cases. What was said supports that.

    ....

    Not an improvement, IMO.
  7. Um... forget the article.... what is up with that pic? Who would rice out a Fit?
  8. Uh... no... As I said... add a little chrome, chop the roof off to make it a conv, and lower the body height (damn LX chassis)... and they are practically identical. You want me to show you? I'll chop the damn thing. And that's not saying you won't be able to tell the difference between them. We're all enthusiasts and that pick out the slightest detail differences here, so don't play that game... As for those Camaros... I see two completely different vehicles just with similar styling cues here and there. That's different from pactically identical with a few minor changes.... or are you just that stubborn? That's why the Camaro is acceptible... it's not a carbon copy like the Challenger. It's thoroughly modern but with classic Camaro inspiration. It's barely retro.
  9. I doubt it... Chevy fans don't want Honda engines in their Chevies, no matter how much better it may be. That's most likely why it's only in the Vue and no other GM vehicle.
  10. It has the 2.4L Ecotec, fyi. And it probably felt like that because the damn thing is so heavy. Needs to lose a few hundred lbs before a 4cyl will ever feel acceptable in it. But I will agree... the 2.4L Twin Cam packs punch for what it's rated at. Feels great in the Sunfire GT my mom has. Other than refinement, that is... but I digress.
  11. Um... not really a hair band fan... Just give me some Metallica, GNR, Ozzy, SOAD, MM, or some KoRn. Oh... and some Queen. Gotta love Love Queen.
  12. Well... I don't have any plans but I know what I want to do. If I get a good car, I'd like to travel around to meet some of you guys, this summer. Maybe plan a few C&G meets here in Brookville. I do know that for Labor day weekend, I would really like for some C&Gers to come by for the weekend for the annual Knox Dale Fireman's homecoming and camp out with me and my family. Lot's of activities and fun as I mentioned when I posted about going last year. Softball and Vollyball tournaments, music artists playing, games, Demo Derby, gun raffle, etc. I've camped out there all my life and each year gets more boring, so I thought having some of you guys there would be great. Heh... just keep that in mind, though...
  13. Sorry... appeal of a flat-6 engine, mid-engine layout, sexy looks, and a gorgeous interior outweigh anything the Vette has for me. So... I'd take a Cayman. Or a Boxster. Either or.
  14. Damn Satty... I'm sad to hear that. Glad your okay, though... Sounded like a wild ride.
  15. IDK who he is... but that guy who played Matt Stifler on AP: Band Camp was alright, IMO.
  16. Yes... two minutes after you posted. Still cheating since you looked..
  17. As always, this Cory is in chat right now.
  18. I see... well, performance wise it ought to be a nice car. I couldn't look at it, though...
  19. Well, I'm still very serious about being personally loaned $4700. I'm begging someone to... Again, I understand that everyone probably doesn't have that much lying around to just loan out, but if you do... please consider it. I promise you'll be paid back to the full amount. You just need to understand that I want this car badly and having gone without one for over six months now doesn't help. My GA is still a mixed bag. Whether it'll run once it's together is unknown and it's just not looking good. My 300EX will soon be for sale again. I got the leak in one of the new tires plugged and I finished some last minute detailling and maintenance. It'll be going out to my Grandpa's over the weekend (easier to sell out there since he live's along a major highway) and it'll be listed in the Trade book for next week. Once it's sold, I'll pay you back more than half of what I'd owe. That's ~ $2800 back to you, hopefully not long after you loan me the money. The rest would come over time as I've said. So... I'm desperate, obviously enough so to ask friends from an internet forum. Again... you can't imagine how thankful I'd be if someone were to do this...
  20. Me thinks Sixty8 is forgetting the history of SS... and the first production one...
  21. Well... I'm not really surprised.
  22. Wow... they are even more similar than I thought... damn... except the lack of chrome and different body styles and height... they're practically identical! There are more differences between those two than between the above two. And one came directly after each with a modernization of the other's design, AKA Evolution. Not retro, not a direct copy like the Challenger pretty much is. Thank you for giving me the chance to post this piece of information.
  23. Suprisingly... a lot of notable cars around here that my neighbors have. The one has a BMW Z3, Mitsubishi 3000GT, Mazda RX7, C3 Stingray, and two MG roadsters. Another has kids who have a Porsche Boxster and Mazda Miata. One has a Mustang Cobra. Onen there's a guy with an 80's El Camino SS. Finally, there's a guy with a Nash a few other 30's and 40's cars he's restoring. He also has one from the 70's too.
  24. Chris didn't win... so I stopped watching after he was voted off.
