Cranked Car Windows are going, going...
All I know is manual rolling windows are a royal pain in the ass. I hope they disappear forever. Having them is like having hard plastics. Cheapens the feel of the car and is certainly annoying. Especially having to reach over to the other side to roll down the passenger window... then getting out and into the back in the case of a sedan. Utter nonsense and waste of time. Anyone actually preferring them must be a huge close minded waste of a body.

Sometimes 26mpg. One, I didn't say a Century didn't fit the spot as a reliable beater. Well... the rest of what I could say is easily explained on my views of "beaters" and beating cars. I rest my case. Two, I'm picky because I can be. Everyone only "needs" basic transportation. No one needs expensive cars. People buy within their budget. I did the same and I had every right to be picky over what I could afford. Three, tinker with what? I didn't refuse to.. I just realised it was hopeless. After my dad worked on it, looks like I realised right. Now it sits at my grandparents unwilling to run. I love Quad4s. So... if my dad couldn't fix it, there wasn't anything I could have done. Four, no, no, no... I didn't pass up anything intentionally. Where do you think I got my money from? My ATV. I didn't sell it until a week before my GA blew up. And the only good deal I ever found was my Millenia for $1500. Wait... I didn't pass it up... Hmm... Oh, and it was cheap, too. Imagine that. Five, I've been looking for a job lately. Sorry I don't keep you up to date on things. Haha... I was joking around with him about it. I like the Solara.

Heh... I still want one. But unlike Sixty8, I'm fine with FWD. I do regret getting a V6 (25mpg and less sucks) and the one thing I'd want to change is the transmission. Haha... but most of bitching was exaggerated, though, because people were throwing absolutely unacceptable suggestions at me (Century... *gag*). Plus, who could pass up such a good deal? A Millenia for only $1500 with nothing wrong with it... It rocks. And it actually handles for what it is. Still soft but has impressive limitations. A slightly sportier suspension, better tires, and a manual transmission swap would completely please me. However, I'm afraid I do know what that means and how to spell it, Camry lover.

Thought I'd make a thread about cars one doesn't see all that often... and are somewhat inconspicuous that just appeal to one for some reason. Rare? Exotic? Expensive? Not necessarily. For me... I'll start off with something that's not a 240SX.... 86-89 Celicas.

First off, I respect Chris. I'm working with him on a project. He's a great artist and chopper. As you said, his Camaro concept and much of his other work was excellent. That's just it, though... they were great. Does that automatically mean all of it's going to be great? No. It doesn't quite work that way. Second, I was only saying that I thought the design would have been presented better had he started from scratch, did all the sketching, then rendered it. You see... He only chopped a CTS (my bad on the STS part... the STS is just a blurry and stretched CTS, anyways). Third, about the chop itself. He got alot of the details right, just not perfect in the execution of them (as in they don't appear as bold as what I've seen, which is about as much as what he's seen). I mean... you can look at it and it looks accurate. But something is just off. It looks a little bland and a little bloated. The face isn't as bold, the headlights are off (he admitted to me that he did his own thing with them), the stance looks higher than in the spy pics, and that decklid is more aggressive than it should be. Yeah, otherwise, he did in fact do a good job. The greenhouse (other than the unfinished interior) is pretty spot on. So yeah... perhaps half-assed wasn't the right way to word it. Finally, what ever happened to respecting each other's opinions? I you should talk to yourself about "respect."- Top TEN Exotic$
Mmm... Ferraris...- First Look! New CTS Rendering!
Hah... I've seen what all there is to see as well and I still say Chris did a poor job. Did I mention that it doesn't help that he left it clearly obvious he just fancied up an STS? Look inside the greenhouse. But I noticed that after I had already made the STS comment. Personally, I think he could have done a better job if he started from scratch and actually used his sketching ability rather than a half-assed chop.- 6 Overrated Cars

Wow... Well, I only see rises for Nissan in the future. Ghosn did turn the brand around from what is was. You remeber the ooold Altima, Sentra, Maxima, and Quest? Yeah. Anyways, for those saying the new Altima looks less renovated than the Explorer needs to get their eyes checked. Yes, indeedy. Alrighty then? I'll pay for whatever you need to be cured or your legal blindless... just please do not deny it and try to make proper judgements anymore. It's hurting you more than it is us.
