Perhaps not selfishness, but what's one good reason to have and essential video for a signature or avatar. I can understand simple ones like Nick's Chevy girls and whatnot, but all those video animations are entirely unnecessary. What's one good reason to have something like that as your sig or av?

Pretty close? The G6 production and concept are closer than that and one of its bigger styling complaints is how the production version doesnt look enough like the concept. In the case of the Sebring... It took a radical, but good looking design and muffled it into this half-assed mess of a design.

Using Firefox and my PC is clear of any spy ware for once in its life. I'm sorry but my PC, mixed with my dial-up internet connection simply can't handle all these damn animations. I'm not going to turn off signatures or avatars because a few people are selfish and have to have unnecessary animated GIFs. There's no reason to ruin everyone's fun? I bet eliminating these animations and restricting signature sizes would help with all the server problems C&G is prone to.

It's nice here in Dreamland. It's the perfect place. Cars, guys, money... Perfection. I like it here. Anyways, I've been thinking... In the next year, there's a few things I'd like to get done. First up, is a job as some of you know. I've been looking and I applied at a VW dealership for a detailing job. I knew I wasn't going to get it fromt he moment I talked with the guy who was in charge of hiring someone (was an in person application type deal). He was snobby with a "holier than thou" attitude. No surprise here, I didn't get the job. Currently, I'm looking into the new Hyundai dealership where my Grandma got her Elantra from. Had a great experience with one of the sales reps. When I told him I'm looking for a job, he offered to help to see if there were any openings there and even if there weren't, took my info for if they ever did. I'm going back sometime this week to check what's up. Hopefully I get something out of this. Second, my Millenia needs some work. I still haven't gotten the missing problem fixed, though I haven't tried yet. After that, I need new tires before winter comes, but I think my dad is going to help with that. My biggest concern is the driver half-shaft/axle... whatever the technical term for it is. It's bad. Turning while on the gas creates a clicking noise. Turning while on the gas hard creates the sensation of no power going to the left. That and sometimes after going highway speeds for a long amount of time... It'll shake and vibrate while off the gas. When it first happened, I thought I had a flat tire. I've looked at prices and at Autozone, it's just a littler over $50 for a new one... Thank god since most parts for my Millenia are expensive. Third, I'd like to get a second car sometime within the next 6 months. I might be dreaming here, hence the topic title, but I feel this would be a better payoff than just replacing my Millenia. I'd keep it for my daily driver while this one would be... a fun one and something I could possibly work on or fix up... or even just for show. I want something rare that you don't see every day or even every year. A few cars I have in mind, that I've actually seen for sale in my area, are: 80's Alfa Romeo GTV6, 80's Mazda RX7, 80's Mitsubishi Starion, 80's Pontiac Fiero, 80's Toyota Celica-Supra, or an old Triumph or MG roadster. These are just one's I've seen. There are many more I'd consider. Finally, I'd really like to find a great guy. Since Erik, I haven't really found anyone that makes me feel... "fuzzy" inside. I've met alot of nice guys the past two months, but none like that. Most would just make good friends. Thanks to places like Myspace and XY, I've atleast been able to do that. So yeah... It's nice here in Dreamland.

If you don't like my "short blurbs" you can ignore them and not make a big deal out of them. Especially you, Fly. As far as what, I don't need to elaborate. I made more than one post. I'm just posting 'to my knowledge' while you are doing the same for yourself. It's that simple. The Grand Vitara's platform was developed independently by the same Suzuki engineers who worked on Theta, hence the simularities in suspension and some design aspects. That doesnt make it derived from Theta. As far as a name, I don't know of one either.

Yeah... I have dial up and animated GIFs make it a royal bitch to scroll, let *useful* images and the pages to load, etc. I'm not about to turn off either avatars or signatures just because a few people have to have unnecessary crap like that. Same thing with HUGE pictures in signatures. I think there should be a limit to how big your sig can be as well as the elimination of animated GIFs.

It just uses some Theta components... like the suspension. It is still a unique platform from Theta.

If the Grand Vitara used a modified RWD Theta platform, which it doesn't...

I have a battery charger for my camera in my car. Handy since my camera stays in my car.

I don't hate it... It's just a mess. I may not be much of a fan of the 300's styling (though as I've said before, I like the Charger's), but atleast it wasn't a mess. This is just a poor design no matter how you put it. I understand that you, being a DCX humper and all, may not be able to see this, but there's no denying that this design could have been 100 times better and still maintain a "love it or hate it" look. It's a mess, nothing else.

Yes, I have.I'm probably reading too much into this, but why would he make that first statement I picked out if this were all the case, as this has all been speculated about and it has been since that comment was made by Jack Keebler. I mean, I'd hope this was the direction, but his comments don't line up.

Yeah... I've read through this for the third time, even putting specific attention on posts made by Z284ever, and that's all I get out of this. His original statement "Forget all the rumors you've been hearing for the past year or two - this will be a NEW Pontiac." says the most, but it's pretty indirect and does not lean towards something like an all RWD lineup... As that's been rumored. So...

When others add the content I would have added... There's no need to be repetitive.
