It's not a trend... If anything, to like Nickelback is a trend for the millions of tools out there that listen to them. As you said, to the tune of 20 million albums. It's basically pop rock. The Britney Spears of rock. People like it because it's simple and easy to listen to without anything too "over the top" about it... or unique for that matter.
  3. I'm lost... I see my name... I see some mentions of Grand Ams... but I can't view videos.
  4. Well, coming from someone who almost fits that description (except I bought my own car), I most certainly don't think a job is beneath me. It's just hard to find a job I'd actually enjoy. I want a job that I'd actually be good at and want to do my best, not one that would have me going "This job sucks". That and I'm in no hurry to find one, though I should be, and should have had a job by the end of summer. As far as my parent's supporting me... Other than my insurance and possibly some maintenance, it isn't permanent and not something Im trying to do. I don't think it's that big of a concern anyways unless your 23 and still being supported by them. That's sad. A 17 year old, though? Almost typical. Most kids around here fit that description (though have jobs) and this isn't exactly a rich and snobby town.

Pffftttt . . . Not that much different to me. Nickelback has that whole post-Grunge-Nirvana-rip-off sound going for it and the best way to get that sound is with the following chord config.: T|---3--- (D) A|---3--- (A) B|---1--- (E) -or- T|---3--- (D) A|---3--- (A) B|---3--- (D) Plus, Chad Kroger's voice sounds like a Saint Bernard dragging its ass on sandpaper. 219958[/snapback] What he said...

I dont know what all of you guys are talking about... but Serj Tankian is only the best singer ever.
  10. I said reliable... Don't mock me.

    ...And you can stand Nickelback?

    Life goals

Mine has been to be an automotive designer for... like... ever. It hasn't changed, but it's much less specific now. I also have more unrelated goals accompanying it, mostly due to my suckage.

    Crap!!

Look at it this way... You didn't total your grandma's Sunfire like a cousin of mine did.
  14. I'm biased, do I have to answer? Honestly, there isn't any specific engine that pops out as being a favorite as mine. If it's DOHC, inline, efficient, reliable, and loves to rev... I probably like that. Even then, I'm not that picky.
  15. Dude... I mean... duuuude... You suck. It's nice, even though you suck. The color sucks too, so it fits you. Oh and the front bumper definitely doesnt look like it fits correctly. Better check that out. But yeah... it's nice and you suck; What else is there to say?
  16. Yeah... It's classy. They offered a similar scheme in the later Millenias, which I'd prefer over the black dash, tan interior that I've got.
  17. I... don't think I want anything for Christmas, not even money. My parents have given me enough money as it is. My birthday, however... I atleast want something.
  18. Happy birthday Flybitch!
  19. What?? CDs rule, biznitch. Anywho, I think my brother got some sort of MP3 player even though he doesnt listen to music. Im trying to think of what it is. It's just a regular one without any video capability. I think it's made by Creative. If I were going to get one, I think I'd just go with an Ipod... probably a Nano or a Shuffle.

Really.. I read the second post, seen that it was about music and said "Wait... WTF?!"
  21. So yeah, I'd say today was normal, sprinkled with a bit of unseen pizazz, yet the usual dosage of sheer boredom.
  22. Well, for someone like me who's very visual, I'm better off looking at a map than being told where to go. Navigation with screens work, though. It's no worse than looking at your gauges... Atleast NAV that's at the most sensible height.
  23. I'm not sure what it is, but all of my relatives who have or had Silverados, including my dad's work truck, have had problems with the 4x4 system. They range from the years 2000 to 2003. I'm not sure if it's the same system, but my parent's old 2000 Blazer's 4x4 system stopped working a few different times and I think it was always a vacuum switch that was the problem.
  24. Hmm... IDK whether or not I'm going to enter any. I doubt my Grand Am would make it in, since you people are biased and the better car would get the vote. Oh yes, I know it. That and... getting pictures of a car that doesnt want to run is sort of hard.
  25. The Nassau looks promising if it becomes reality.
