I could rock that.

Firefox. I have IE7, too, but it sucks in comparison, so it's just a backup.

KoRn spoke to me. Told me to put lyrics in my sig. Or else they'd kill me. So I did.

Yes. I think it's pretty obvious at times. I wish I could have said it as well as that. I agree.

It's not bad, but it's rather frumpy compared to the current one...

Agreed. I'm just saying that there's more going for evolution, than creationism. Outside of opinions, beliefs, and a book... there's not really any proof of creationism or of an existing god. Course, how could you even prove something like that in the first place? With evolution, there's atleast something solid behind it. That's all I'm saying. But thanks for not taking it the wrong way... I just had to vent. As for our rights, I don't think they come from something greater. They come from people. Case in point, we don't have the right to kill another person, but we can kill animals and plants? Then there's the whole concept of marriage and so on. For a "God" to come up with these rights seems like a heavenly type of favoritism.

Honda... $69,056,000. Wow.

Well... Pontiac.com is worth $6,216,670. And the porn site I go to is worth $470. w00t!

Not to turn this into a religious argument, but I just have to say something about that comment as it really rubs me the wrong way. Nothing is keeping my alive except for myself, my body, and people who choose not to kill me. Obviously, I'm an Atheist. I think the whole aspect of religion is hilarious. We weren't created. We aren't being watched over. It's called evolution. Science and common sense has proved it. It's not a belief, it's reality. Religion, in my opinion, is fiction that's stuck with us from the past. People thought the world was flat and that we we created by some upholding god. It's as stupid as it sounds. Sorry, had to vent. Back to Ann Coulter's idiocy.

2008 Bentley Brooklands Autoblog Bentley describes its new Brooklands coupe that's being unveiled right now in Geneva as a "grand touring coupe with classic British proportions." Yes, it certainly has classic British proportions if by that Bentley means it's as big as Britain itself. The new 2+2 coupe by the boys and girls from Crewe is named after the famed Brooklands banked race track in Surrey, England where Bentley made a name for itself in motorsports during the 1920s. The Brookland's got a classic Bentley face, a modern profile (check out the fender vents!) with B-pillarless side glass and massive 20-inch wheels that shine with a mirror finish. The interior features typical Bentley craftsmanship, which means by-hand construction of the leather-lined surfaces and symmetrical wood trim. The rear passengers benefit from limo-like legroom and power adjustable cushions, as well. A prodigious amount of power is provided by Bentley's all-aluminum 6.75L turbocharged V8 with revised cams and a lower inertia turbo that helps push power to an even 500bhp and around 775 ft-lbs. of earth-wrinkling torque. Needless to say, 60 mph will come and go faster than your fat wallet. Only 505 Brooklands will be made by Bentley, making it one exclusive land yacht for the ridiculously wealthy. Deliveries are scheduled to start in the first half of 2008 for the sheiks, musicians and tech company moguls who will no doubt plunk down a deposit. Picture Gallery

'Premier' look redefines Buick-Pontiac-GMC dealerships
Cory Wolfe replied to Flybrian's topic in General Motors
Not all dealers are going to be able to live up to something like that, and not because they're "bad" dealers. Here in Brookville, the dealership is already along a major traffic and happens to be right in town. The perfect location. The problem is, Brookville is a Historic district and the dealer is in a historic building they basically can't touch. For them, the choice would be to either move to a less ideal place and meet those standards or stay in the ideal location and not meet those standards. Considering Brookville gets traffic for the Historic factor alone, I'd pick the latter and say "F*ck GM". -
As far as the thread title, I originally saw this on Autoblog and that was the title.

Yeah, Yesterday was pretty bad. At one moment, it was almost a complete white out. Then 10 minutes later the sun was out. Odd.

How much does gas have to be before you scrap your V8 plans?
Cory Wolfe replied to Oracle of Delphi's topic in The Lounge
As long as I had a second car, it wouldn't matter. If I was getting 20-25 mpg and paying premium for my Millenia when gas was almost $3.50/gal at times around here, I think I could deal with a much more powerful V8. Especially when the gas mileage wouldn't be much worse and I'd be paying for regular instead. -
I know what you mean. I have no problem with straight girls as long as they don't hit on me. It's like... "You have boobs... Ew!" :D :P

No double standard here. The G8's design is contemporary and understated but sporty, stealthy, and chiseled. It's attractive, regardless of it being a rebadged Holden, and isn't bland. Just because a design isn't excessively styled, doesn't mean its bland. It has substance and style, unlike a bland car. It's a design one can appreciate.

Suits filed over GM speedometers By David Bowermaster Seattle Times staff reporter Kevin Zwicker knew something was wrong when the speedometer on his 2004 Chevy Suburban indicated he was going 10 mph, even though he was driving at or near the speed limit on Interstate 5. Zwicker's speedometer failed completely in April 2006. But General Motors did not replace it for free because the truck was outside the standard three-year, 36,000-mile warranty period. Zwicker had purchased an extended warranty, so he paid $100 for a new speedometer rather than the usual $400 to $500. But now Zwicker, who lives in Snohomish, is the lead plaintiff in a federal lawsuit seeking damages on behalf of potentially thousands of people. The lawsuit, filed last week in U.S. District Court in Seattle, could potentially cover all Washington residents who purchased GM trucks and sport-utility vehicles from 2003 to 2007, and who have had to replace defective speedometers. Zwicker, 48, considers himself a "savvy driver," but said it was uncomfortable driving without knowing how fast he was going. "I don't think it's fair that a major manufacturer such as GM can let something like this go by and not give it some serious thought," Zwicker said. A nearly identical suit was filed this week in U.S. District Court in Oregon on behalf of John Hall, who paid $427.50 in January to fix a defective speedometer on his 2003 GMC Envoy LE. The lawsuits in Washington and Oregon are seeking class-action status, according to Beth Terrell, an attorney with the Seattle law firm of Tousley Brain Stephens who is representing Hall and Zwicker. The suits cover five Chevrolet models: Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe and Trailblazer; four GMC models: Denali, Envoy, Sierra and Trailblazer; and the Cadillac Escalade. Additional suits could follow in other states, but there are currently no plans to consolidate the cases into a single national suit against the world's largest automaker. "We think it makes sense to prosecute GM in each state on behalf of that state's residents," Terrell said. More: Clicky

Ann Coulter's not worthy of being something I'd flush down my toilet, let alone being listening to.

http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...showtopic=15868 Ouch, though. I'd hate to be the guy who wrecked it.

RWD does not equal poor fuel mileage. The engines themselves... well... Duh.
-
What he said... No one in my family has recently owned one.
-
I would suggest Wikipedia for all the technical engine data: Clicky and the obvious the fuel economy: Clicky.

Hmm... I read through this entire thread. Ah, the memories, good and bad. Anyways... Can I change my vote for the obvious? :P

First, I've noted before that the plastic Chrysler likes to use could give me "plastic-burn", like carpet burn. It's hard, roughly grained and just cheap. And anything with a hard edge, if hit the right way, could hurt. I have a Grand Am with one of the $h!tiest interiors available for 1995, so it's quite easy to judge interiors. Its sad when it has plastics on par with a brand new Chrysler. Second, Northie didn't say any of that as fact. It was to his knowledge. He even pointed that out to you. A duh. Third, you most certainly do defend Chrysler at all costs. You're the biggest Chrysler humper I've seen. Even other Chrysler fans, like DodgeFan, can atleast be realistic about Chrysler's products. The only person making asinine comments is yourself. You can't admit that Chrsyler makes products as bad as they truly are, so you pass all comments about it off as coming from someone who just hates Chrsyler. Talk about being blindly biased.
