  1. Heh.. and I still say the LaCrosse has better interior plastics than the Lucerne.
  2. Again, aerodynamically, they are pretty much identical, as I said. Hence why it "levels the playing field". But the car for each manufacturer still has difference from each other. The nose, hood, and greenhouse are all different. Not by much, as I said, but still different. All you need to do is look at each manufacturer's cars. The Impala SS COT has nose, hood lines and greenhouse openings that mimic the Impala. The Camry COT has nose and hood lines that mimic the Camry (the greenhouse doesnt mimic the actual Camry, oddly, but it's still unique to the Camry). The Fusion COT has nose, hood lines and greenhouse openings that mimic the Fusion. The Avenger COT has nose, hood lines and greenhouse openings that mimic the Avenger. If pics of the raced COTs weren't so hard to find (test cars before the final COT design was chosen are all I seem to find on google... you can tell by how the Chevy COTs are Monte Carlos and not Impalas) I would go through and point out each and every little difference. Heh... Again, I repeat. The differences are there. It's all in whether or not you choose to see them. Some people like to be ignorant to reality. You can be one of them if you want... Your choice.
  3. Exterior? Good. Interior? Pititful.
  4. The differences are there. It's all in whether or not you choose to see them.
  5. I like it, as well. It's like an M45 and a FX45 mixed together.
  6. My Millenia has a white "LED" display for the clock and climate control while the radio has an LCD display. It's not terribly hard to read, but I agree. What's sad is that the LaCrosse's plastics are all mostly soft while the Lucerne has tons of hard plastic.
  7. I wish I had a picture... but when I saw one of the COT Impala SS's behind the Impala SS pace car... They looked more alike than any "stock" car since '80s, IMO.
  8. Depends on your definition of identical. The overall profile of each make are pretty much identical... aerodynamically. However, each have they're own hood and fascia indentations and they're own rear and side window shapes for the greenhouse to mimic the car in which they're based upon. The COT still retains those traits, just much less so than the existing stock cars. People like to assume theyre all identical blobs, but they never were and still aren't.
  9. Coffee. More dangerous than cell phones.
  10. That's not at all what I meant. I'm talking about the "improvements" made. They suck regardless of what the actual car is like.
  11. Technically, the noses and greenhouses are still different. Barely, now, but still different.
  12. Wow... I guess Buick must have gotten lucky with the Enclave... Because this and the LaCrosse clearly show that Buick is clueless.
  13. It's definitely better, as I've said twice before... but for all the more that was done, it doesn't seem worth it.
  14. Hmm... Looks better, but as I said, not much better. What I don't understand is why they couldn't have changed the headlights. It's clear that they changed the hood for the new grill, so why not just complete the look with new headlights? It's not like a new grill and a "Super" model are going boost sales enough to justify this very minor refresh anyways. Why not atleast make an effort if you're going to do anything at all? Doesn't make any sense to me.
  15. Well, they just ruined the Impreza.
  16. Okay... So the original xB has grown on me. It's not that bad other than the fact that it's a toaster.
  17. I wasn't calling you out specifically... More or less, it was directed towards anyone complaining about others not liking the Enclave. If they don't like it, so be it. If they feel it looks like something else, so be it. It's their opinion whether it's "nit-picky" or not. It's to the point of mocking other's opinions and I didn't agree with it. That's all I was saying. You weren't the worst offender, or the first at that. I simply felt the need to say something. As far as yourself, I can completely understand being passionate and wanting to defend your brand. There's no fault in that.
  18. Haha... Sure. I'm simply saying being bored is alot better than other things I could be. I'm generally always bored and while it sucks, it's not that bad. I only lose my mind every other week or so.
  19. Looks like fun. Though I must ask... Are you sure you didn't know what Curves was? I mean... Maybe you did and you were all there for a reason.
  20. C3 Corvette and a 69 Chevelle. Also saw a Trailblazer SS. Went to the DCX dealer, as well. Looked at an Avenger again, this time in detail. My... when some of you guys said it looks much better in person, I thought there might be a glimmer of hope of it looking somewhat decent. Needless to say, I think it looks just as bad in person as it does in pics. The front? Eh. The rear? Eh. Everything inbetween? Eh. Completely awful. While I didn't get to sit in it, the interior looked very cheap through the windows. Course, that was pretty much expected. Either way, why anyone would buy one over ANY of its competitors is beyond me. Same with the disgrace that is the Sebring. Also got to look at the new Patriot. Thankfully, it's much better looking than the Compass. Even without comparison, it's a good looking vehicle. The same can't be said about the interior. Otherwise, there wasn't much worth looking at there. I think I could have more enjoyment looking at Hyundais. There was a gorgeous black Cobalt SS SC there, however... It got most of my attention, needless to say.
  21. So-so. I'm not nerdy or geeky in the least, but I'm fairly knowledgeable when it comes to cars. Not to mention that everything I do usually has something to do with cars. Watch TV? I'm watching something with cars and I'll always pay more attention to the cars rather than the characters or point of the show/commercial. On the internet? I'm talking about cars or researching and looking at them. Reading? I'm reading about cars. Hobbies? I collect model cars, car magazines, brochures, badges, etc. Going out, I go to car dealers. My intended career? I want to design car or atleast do something with them. So I suppose all that counts.
  22. Oh really? Just around the inner corner. It was pointed and more angular to match the overall theme of the refresh, while on all others the inner corner is rounded and upright. As far as 95-00 versus 01-02... I like them both equally.
  23. RWD vehicle smaller than the CTS for the US = Good idea. I can understand not bringing the current BLS here... but not one on this supposed Alpha platform. Regardless of what price it would come in at, Cadillac needs something smaller than the CTS.
  24. Oh $h!... I didn't figure the comp would close somewhat on time. Whoops. 9 7 1
  25. I love the detailing and design, but the I think the notch at the top could have been executed better. And as others have said, it needs color, even if its not red.
