  1. I do remember my mom mentioning how it went through oil like crazy or something along the lines of that. Either way, this car is a pain in the ass.
  2. The Charger isn't bad, but... It's a completely different car than the G8. It's retro, bulky, over the top and excessive whereas the G8 is modern, tight, refined and stealthy. There's a market for both. Personally, though, there's no way I could take the Charger over the G8. That would be like taking a 1996 Taurus over a Millenia. I would have to be mentally unstable.
  3. Grayish, I think. I didn't get a real good look at it.
  4. It's sort of cute, but like other recent Opel products... Looks Korean.
  5. Or not. The problems continue. Now it's smoking and back firing or something like that. I don't know much more than that at the moment, but it seems to still be able to be run daily. Something is still amiss, however. I'll try to find out more. I personally first noticed the smoke late last week and then heard about those problems this weekend from my mom. *sigh*
  6. I dislike them, as well. I like to be able to see the engine. There's a certain beauty to it.
  7. As for the taillights... I've always like the idea of doing this (ignore the actual car):
  8. Yeah... They added about 5 inches to front and the overall kit looks "fat" compared to the actual concepts.
  9. Stupidity, at its finest. As for the movie.. I finally watched it a few months ago. I honestly didn't think it was that great. I mean.. the story line really grabbed me.. but I dont know if it was how the movie was directed and laid out or whatnot, but I just came away dissatisfied.
  10. Well.. I don't know about whether those mods were ever available.. but I do know that RKSport has a kit for those Grand Ams that is similar to the Hot Wheels/GXP concepts. The kit doesn't look as good as the concepts, though. Clicky
  11. W00t! I missed the end of the race and was wondering who won... Yay.
  12. Blemishes.. I know them well. As I ranted about months ago... My Millenia somehow got some scratches and dings over the winter. I especially cringe about the dings, because the body was formerly 100% ding and dent free. Now it's not. Argh. The scratches... eh.. whats a few more? My paint is far from perfect anyways. Otherwise, there is some rust on the right fender and a small crack on the front bumper. As far as the wheels... I experienced losing a center cap... I just removed the other three and it looks better without them anyways.
  13. They're not all that impressive either. In fact... Except for the CTS and G35 sedan (the new coupe pales in comparison to the original), All the previous generation vehicles in this class are better looking. The IS has odd details and proportions, the 3er has odd Bangled details, while the C-class lost it's class and originality.
  14. The Japanese? They're not the only ones to be doing it. Take a look at the headlights of an Impala or a Solstice. Bulge. Agreed. You mean BMW...
  15. Maybe the sedan... but the coupe looks like it's going to be pretty nice. Same with the upcoming RWD Hyundai Tiburon. Both might have to be inserted onto my list once they debut. Eh... The current IS doesn't impress me. The original on the other hand... Perfection.
  16. It's up to Fly for that. If he wants to disqualify them, he can. I won't complain. It's his call, not yours. Also.. the rules now state that it's preferred to have two or more views... Not mandatory. Let's not be a sore loser now. Exactly. Anyways... Voting supposedly ended on the 5th. It's now the 13th... When can we expect the results?
  17. Cadillac didn't go nearly far enough with this refresh. The interior is pitiful for it's price.
  18. Garage sales are fun... Easy way to make money when you just sell random crap you dont need, want, nor use.
  19. Unsure. I'd like to go this time.. but... I'll see.
  20. I would actually suggest just cleaning the cladding up, a la Bonneville GXP. Removing the cladding altogether will give you more problems to overcome like the indentations near the wheel wells and how the front and rear bumpers would then not match up with the sides. A similar thing happens with the 5th gen Grand Am coupes; the body panels dont line up correctly with the doors.
  21. Seems to be the case. It definitely doesn't look as good as I expected, but that's not to say it looks bad by any means. It's just... different in a not so different way. Disappointing after seeing the coupe.
  22. Or there just aren't any Saturn dealers around here. Otherwise, there are atleast 10 GM dealerships of other brands within a 40 Mile radius.
  23. Sadly... Each piece is an actual aftermarket part available for these Grand Ams. Except for the headlights... Dumb fool thought he could put Civic headlights on a Grand Am.
  24. Agreed. That is the one and only complaint I have with this car.
  25. Come on... It's not that hard... Hog... Wash... Hogwash!
