Living 8 miles out of town and lacking transportation means no job for the moment. I might be able to use that XL175, but we'll see. I'd hate to have to ride it in the rain, though.

My dad decided to buy another motorcycle. A classic 1975 Honda XL175 with an extremely low 340 miles. It runs pretty well for having sit in someone's basement for decades. It's rusty in spots, but overall it's in decent condition. All original and as I mentioned, has only 340 miles. Has a small fuel leak and the clutch sticks sometimes, but that's basically all that's wrong with it. He heard about it from a coworker who didn't want it anymore.. He couldn't resist it. This, after he told me he couldn't afford to help out with the distributor I need. I have no idea what he paid for it, exactly, but I'm quite positive that it was more than $400.

4-door accounts for 82% of total Wrangler production

I bet Chrysler is kicking themselves for not doing it sooner. It was such a no-brainer. -
Not to mention that the TSX is simply the European/Japanese market Accord that dates back to 2002.

That's like choosing between green colored crap and brown colored crap; either way you're still choosing crap.

Agreed. I dont think any brands need to leave the market. However, if I had to mention some... Buick - On the brink of redundancy. Hummer - With fuel concerns, worthless. Izuzu - Lost its touch long ago. Jaguar - Sales are nonexistant, does Ford want it? Mercury - Pretty much redundant as is. Mitsubishi - Losing buyers and support. Pontiac - Losing the fight, no thanks to it's fleet queens. Suzuki - Other than SUVs, has little value.

Does South Park count if I'm listening to it, but also watching it.. Since its on tv and all?

That may be the case with your Q45, but other than age/maintenance related things and now the distributor (which was an aftermarket one installed by the place where I bought it; certainly not buying a vehicle off of them again)... My Millenia has been relatively flawless. No quirks, no electronic gremlins (surprising considering the sheer amount of electronics packed into these cars), no real flaws. Having to put all this money into it all at once is the big problem. The tires have been something it's needed since it was inspected last year. The front brakes I've known about since I had the axle replaced. The suspension link, also since it was last inspected as my uncle let it slide. The engine miss is what has thrown everything off. I never expected it to take so long to finally find the problem, especially not so close to inspection time. It's simply not worth getting rid of it, not now, not after I put that money into it. It's a great car that should run forever as long as I stop procrastinating so much with things. It's definitely my fault I'm in this situation, which is another reason why I dont want to just give up. As for the offers, I'm appreciative. Northie's LSS sounds most appealing. I like those vehicles, but as mentioned, getting it from there to here wouldn't be cheap and that's what I need.

Shinedown - Simple Man, Lynyrd Skynyrd cover.

So far, I'm not liking it.

Ouch. That sucks. It doesn't look too bad, but considering the age, I'd say there's a good chance it's totaled, but I'm not Ocn.

Agreed.I also think they need to go back to the feel that the previous generation models had. The Mk IV Jetta and Golf are a favorite of mine. The current offerings are downgrade in design, IMO.

An update. No family car will be purchased anytime soon. The loan rates were ridiculously high (over %20) so my parents said forget it. However, my brother may finally be getting a vehicle. A truck, as he wanted. My uncle had a regular cab early '90s Ford Ranger that he was going to put alot of work into until he found an altogether better Ranger and bought it. Thusly, he's going to sell his old Ranger to my dad for $100. It needs alot of body work. All four fenders are pretty much shot. It's currently disassembled over at his place. Myself, I'm trying to figure out what to do. I need to put $1000 into my Millenia. My dad doesn't think it's worth it, but I don't think selling it for a huge loss would be worth it either. To add to that, it's a great car, unlike my Grand Am. To just give up on it would be stupid, especially considering it's just a simple distributor that's keeping me from driving it. The rest is just what I need to get it inspected. What I'm thinking is... I could find a really cheap beater ($400 or less) to drive so I can get a job and earn enough money to buy what I need for my Millenia. I would honestly drive even the most crappy of vehicles as long as it ran well enough to get me to work, as needed. Finding one seems to be the problem. I don't seem to have the luck that my brother does.

What is your problem? Can you not speak to me in a respectful manner? I've been a member here for nearly 4 years. If you think you can come here act as if you are better than everyone here and run the show, you are going to be sadly mistaken. I've done nothing to you to warrant your hostility towards me. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could just cut the bull $h! and treat me as I deserve to be treated. I'm trying to be reasonable here. Back on topic, I'm simply saying Chrysler does in fact have problems. They've admitted themselves that their interiors aren't up par while sales numbers (retail/fleet percentages) speak for themselves. They have alot going for them, especially with technological innovations. Exterior designs are subjective, but most aren't attractive in my eyes, and again, the sales numbers speak for themselves. Edit: Sorry Fly, didn't see your warning until after I posted. Check your PM inbox.

In some ways, I'm surprised... But in others, I'm not.

Green Day isn't all that bad, though their earlier stuff is much better, of which I don't have.

You guys should take a listen to this song: "Welcome Home" by Coheed & Cambria. The singer's voice, shall I say, isn't for everyone but the instrumentals are decent and more like classic rock. The album, "Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV" was ranked 69th in the October '06 issue of Guitar World for the "100 greatest guitar albums of all time" if that means anything.

Admitting your problems is the first step to recovery. Being ignorant and blind to reality will never get you anywhere.

Haha... I have better taste in music than you originally thought, huh?

I prefer Reese's creamy.

My current playlist. It's less... gay, for lack of a better term.

I'm glad I won't have to see that eyesore on the road.

Compared to non entry level cars, certainly. In the Neon's case, it's compared to its own competitors of the time. Everything but J-bodies and Hyundais were better vehicles. It's a 12 year old luxury sedan with 175k miles... Should I expect it to be? Unless the times were clocked by the same driver with identical track conditions... and without proof, I might add... It's worthless quoting times that aren't professionally recorded. How else did the SRT4 comparison come into this conversation? I don't see you taking issue with that. Pointing out the obvious, aren't you? It was a harmless conversation between a few guys who enjoyed going back and forth about it. It's not exactly life and death, so why you barge in and start making an issue out of everything is quite a mystery. You're new here, so perhaps you haven't had a chance to understand these things. As I said in my other response to you, respect and sarcasm, inform yourself.

There is a difference between styling a vehicle to have an aura of past vehicle than styling a vehicle to be identical to a past vehicle. You are an odd man. First of all, respect: learn to use it. Second, sarcasm: look it up.
