  1. There are a fair share of those who are clearly blinded, no doubt, but I think the vast majority aren't. C&G is one of the most even-keel automotive forums I've joined. It's why I continually post here after 4 years. Other forums I've joined... including everything from ones for Chrysler, Honda, Toyota, Mazda, specific GM brands, and even rival GM forums, I have never found any of them to be on the same level as C&G. And of course, if you truly think that for this forum in general, one would have to ask why you stick around.
  2. Looks good, but fairly similar to the current one.
  3. How did I know you were going to say that? Any radio and HVAC controls can become familiar and easy to use if you actually try to learn the controls. No matter the vehicle, you're going to learn how the new controls work. Just because something looks more complicated, doesn't mean it is. Someone as intelligent as yourself should be aware of this and not relay on such silly excuses. I've never found any radio to be "too complex" or to have "too many buttons". For me, looks matter above all else and the Malibu's center stack looks like $h!.
  4. Do you even know what you are talking about, by any chance? What is your definition of depth? First, you argued that the lighting wasn't similar enough, then you argued that lighting and its caused reflections had nothing to do with depth. Well? I'm curious.
  5. There is no debate here. The Accord definitely gets the nod over the Malibu.
  6. I like the "hold" function on my Millenia's transmission. I can choose to hold it any gear and use it to down/upshift without limiting myself to one gear. I will say that what the Enclave features seems very annoying. I agree with O.C. about not being able to hold a gear, intentional or not.
  7. Fiero owners, even.
  8. Again, you're point is? Public perception is one thing, but we're all enthusiasts here. Why defend something so redundant, especially when one could easily find the same thing with nearly every manufacturer. No make is perfect and we all know that. The above is a rather pitiful excuse and is basically you justifying these problems occurring in a lowly Chevrolet. If you want something to justify...
  9. Digital cameras offer much less hassle to go through, what without needing to develop film and such. I do have a 35mm camera around here somewhere... A Kodak Advantix, I think. I haven't used it in over 4 years, to say the least.
  10. You have a one track mind. Bringing you're Buick into this and posting a massive load of pictures = Thread hijacked. As well, this thread was about more than just headlight bulges, in case you couldn't tell.
  11. That one picture is just entirely too large to be posted. Not everyone has high-speed internet. Simple rule: It's larger than you're monitor, don't post it.
  12. Ignorance is bliss.I would hate to be one of the owners of the cars damaged. Even worse to have been one of the ones that got hurt, if any did.
  13. And your point is? A few vehicles having problems doesn't indicate a damn thing. You're HHR and Cobalt didn't have issues, but one's I've personally seen on the dealer's lot have. A few cars do not speak for the the majority of them.
  14. Every car maker has issues. Let's not get into how times I've found a GM or Ford vehicle with misaligned panels sitting on the lot, including a Solstice just the other day and a Lincoln Navigator last night.
  15. There's a difference between having a bulge and having the headlight shape follow the body lines. If there weren't, everything from an XLR to an Aveo would be classified as having a bulge.
  16. And let me guess, the fact that "blue flash metallic" is monotone in person and in pictures shows depth? It has no depth. End of story. I don't know why you're inclined to defend a color. It's just a color!
  17. The hell it's not. In both pictures the sun is clearly shining evidenced by the sharp shadows. How is that not close to same? As well, I got to see it in person, and yes, it's a very flat color for being metallic. It clearly lacks in depth, especially in comparison to that blue of the Alero/Grand Am. I should, my mom's 00 coupe was that color. I remember it vividly and you can see the obvious difference in pictures. Here are some other light conditions shown with this color since the one I originally posted somehow wasn't "close". All of them clearly show more depth. I don't know what you're smoking.

    NEW FIT

For what it is, it looks alright.
  19. While out looking at vehicles again, this time in Dubois, I spotted this Solstice in this absolutely gorgeous color. To be honest, this is the first time I was actually drawn to the Solstice. This color just made it pop. This color fits the Solstice better than any other color I've seen. If I were able to buy a Solstice, this is the one I would get.
  20. Not a problem. I may have more coming for all those bulge aficionados.
  21. As well, I saw a recently purchased Enclave strolling around at the Toyota dealership.
  22. Fieros are more collectible than you think. Pristine examples can easily go for $10-15k or more, which in most cases is more than what they cost new. MSRP in 1988 for the top of the line GT was $13,999, $10,999 for the Formula, and $8,999 for the base. Explain to me how this qualifies as "little collectible interest". Thank you. I especially agree with the head examining.
  23. Who can go wrong with duct tape?! I didn't even see the HHR the first time I clicked on this thread. I looked at the photo and saw that Fly said ventiports... I'm thinking to myself "Wait, HHRs don't have ventiports...?". Haha. *smacks forhead* My own contribution:
  24. I don't know about him.. but the center stack in the Malibu is horribly cheap looking if you ask me. However, the rest of the interior looks better than the Camry's.
