  1. Figured I'd post the replacement for my brother's wrecked Ranger. It's a Nissan, as you can see. I think it's a 1993. It has about 130k miles on the odometer and it's a stick. I'm not sure if it's a V6 or a 4cyl as I haven't asked nor looked to see for myself. I think he got it for $1k or so. It's a little rusty, but seems more solid than his Ranger was, which is certainly good. It supposedly runs pretty well.
  2. Perhaps you could use a play off your initials.... "Contemporary Artistic Creations" Another possibility is to just use your first and last name. Using myself as an example... "Cory Wolfe Designs". Something like that could certainly work and would likely appeal to anyone and everyone. It's not fancy or creative, but you can't really lose any business over your own name and it probably wouldn't be taken unless you have a highly used name, a la 'Dan Smith' or something.
  3. Alice In Chains - Heaven Beside You
  4. It's very nice. First Buick in a while that I don't have an overabundance of qualms about. I think it'll do fine.
  5. Three Days Grace - Riot.
  6. I'm just not as good as him. *sigh*
  7. sNOSage is alive?! I thought you died in a freak Flint shooting or something. Bitch, please.
  8. Those exhaust tips are the Gallardo were huge. I don't think there was any satisfying it.
  9. Tell me about. Haha... It's a bit further than 250 miles. It's actually a long story. To keep it short, I unexpectedly had to drop someone off in central Indiana (don't ask, for the sake of my sanity) and I had done so without getting any sleep previous to the trip. By the time I was on my way back, I was completely exhausted and Chris let me crash at his place, which wasn't too big of a detour from where I was at the time. After I had gotten sleep and whatnot, the next day we went out to explore some places and went to all those dealerships. Meanwhile, my nice new camera was left at home due to not needing to take it along to drop this person off. A pity, I know. I plan on driving over again since it's not as demanding of a drive as I thought it was. Chris and I will make sure to make another run to all those places just for pictures.
  10. Nah. I wasn't expecting to be in Detroit, let alone to visit those dealerships, so I had left my camera at home. It was a spur of the moment thing. I had a situation where I had to drive to Indiana and back and needed a place to crash for night. Next time, when I actually plan a trip to Detroit, I'll have to visit everyone from over yonder.
  11. Last three tanks: 29.2, 29.4, and 29.1. And ironically, the highest mileage was achieved driving the fastest with most use of the gas pedal. How that can be, I have no idea.
  12. Chris and I met up finally (sort of unexpectedly, at that) and we romped around the Detroit area to all the sweet exotic dealerships. Alot of the cars, I wasn't expecting to be there. Who walks into a Maserati dealership to find an Alfa 8C sitting in the showroom. I never expected to see a Veyron... ever, either. Such beautiful cars. And the exhaust note of that Lambo LP560 is to die for. I think I could settle for one to replace the Jetta.
  13. The Jetta is about 40 years old having just rolled over 81k.
  14. I had quite the day, today. I gawked over many vehicles I didn't think I would have the chance to look at. I even got to start up an LP560. Talk about an exhaust note. It's pretty much the equivalent to automotive heaven. Here's a minor list of all my nifty sights. Bugatti Veyron Alfa Romeo 8C Alfa Romeo Spyder Alfa Romeo 164 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera Lamborghini Countach Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano Ferrari 612 Scaglietti Ferrari 430 Scuderia Ferrari 360 Modena Ferrari F355 Ferrari 550 Maranello Ferrari 308 Ferrari F1 Racer Maserati GT Maserati Merak Maserati Quattroporte Porsche 911 Carerra Porsche Cayman Porsche 968 Porsche 944 Racer Porsche 911 (964) Lotus Exige S Lotus Europa Lotus Elan Lotus Esprit Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed Bentley Continental GT Speed Jaguar XF Jaguar XJR Jaguar XKR Jaguar E-type Jaguar XK140 BMW M3 BMW M5 BMW X6 BMW M1 Mini Cooper (original) Audi TT-S Audi A5 Caterham Super-7 Morris Minor Traveller Quite the list, eh?
  15. Haha, well, it's like a rodent we can't get rid of. It was sitting in our yard with $500 written very largely on the windshield for 6 months. It's currently in the garage, as it no longer wants to start for whatever reason(s). I bet the carburetor finally gave up on it. I'd really like it to go to someone who has the ability to fix it up and keep it running, but alas, no one seems to be interested. Even those on here who swore up and down about it were all talk. Bitches.
  16. Always been a fan of 3rd gen. F-bodies, especially Trans Ams. Great cars. Like the Fiero, I look forward to having one in my driveway some day.
  17. You can have an '84 parts car. *nods*

    Pictures!

Yes, but don't ask me to do anything else with it.
  19. I actually don't think the styling is that terrible. Sure, it's not going to win any beauty pageants, but I can see good qualities in the design.
  20. I'm just discovering the virtues of Guitar Hero with both PS2 and the Wii. I'm not terribly good with timing and my pinky doesn't cooperate, so it's interesting when I play. In contrast. a friend of mine can play on hard and hit nearly every note, song difficulty permitting. 'Hot for Teacher' is insane on medium, let alone hard or expert. Far beyond my skill level. Haven't played Rock Band, though.
  21. Great minds think alike.

    Pictures!

Random, but I can scratch inbetween my shoulder blades, so... bitch, please.
  23. Dump 'em and move on.
  24. Yes, Harley's getting old. I believe he's going on 8 and the other hyper dogs have probably aged him a little more than is natural. Thanks. It could be something I want to do. Probably moreso than automotive design. You've got me. It's my dad's.
