That's I guess what they sold here. Its a '70 Marcos Mantis and the original company bought the farm in that year because, well, no one wanted a disproportionate ass-ugly car. They sold kitcars from the late-70s 'till 2000 when they went bankrupt again and are now owned by some rich Canadian. Whatever... -
Dumping SAAB would result in the least amount of casualties. Of course, the argument exists that GM would lose a foothold into the elite high-end import market, but SAAB's barely had a foothold for 20 years.

Um...I insist on good fullsize cars. Right now, there are only a handful of fullsize cars and of those, the real good ones happen to be FWD. Sorry, if I wanted a time machine, I'd buy a Deloreon with Mr. Fusion, not a Town Car. I think you're confusing me for Reg anyway.

Okay, seriously, what's with the hate for the Aveo and Saturn? Aveo is necessary for both CAFE numbers and for people who want an economical domestic. You want them to get an Echo instead? Saturn also attracts people who would never set foot in another cheesy high-pressure Chevrolet dealership.

This is a serious problem that you can't blame on the dealers. After all, don't they have to be trained by Honda? Its not a legitimate excuse and even if by some stretch it was, Honda dealers = Honda. To the public, blaming the service tech is like blaming Doug in engineering; he still works for you.

FHP still has a nice fleet of Camaro intercept cars. One rocketed by me this morning hot on an older M3. As far as Holdens, with the fuel tank relocated as per US safety regs (a la GTO) so it doesn't light up like a Crown Vic, trunk space is pathetic for a car its size, something like 7 cubic feet. Police cars have and need massive trunks.

But people don't buy minivans for crisp handling; they buy them for comfort, luxurious touches, and practicality. I've heard some positive comments about the Quest's and even the MPV's handling characteristics compared to other vans, but neither offer much in terms of practical minivan innovations.
