    Pictures!

Did you get to tickle your date, Sciguy?
  2. I really want to say a '72 Imperial LeBaron by the steering wheel, wheels, and fender skirt, but the dash cluster and shifter tells me otherwise.
  3. Oh, another one: Some guy: "I heard this car could go 300mph" Me: "...yup." About the Bonneville SSEi: Some guy: "Hey, isn't that the Tom Petty Edition?"
  4. #3 True. 425lb/ft of it at 0RPM. Remember, its a turbine engine. I could also run on anything burnable - kerosene, JP4, Chanel No. 5 - with no conversion.
  5. That is the best interpretation of a signature Pontiac fascia I have ever seen!
  6. They also use the 'Limited' trim designation also used by the Chrysler T&C. I don't think Kia uses 'limited' anywhere else.
  7. He didn't die poor at all actually. He did die at a young age (37) because of complications realting to rheumatic feaver he contracted as a child. The doctors said he would be lucky to see his 15th birthday, so living twice that especially with his level of activity was amazing. It was actually blood poisoning he got from a dental visit that killed Darin. Really an amazing guy if you ask me. One of my favorite performers of the era and of all time.
  8. You got it, Razor. It was known as the DiDia150 and it took six/seven years to build and had thirty coats of paint applied originally. It was also aluminum-bodied and cost about $150,000. But, it was Bobby Darin, so he could afford it. Here's a shot of the interior:
  9. This struck me as random and funny. Today, a really old guy (80/90ish) in my neighborhood told me my car looked "smooth as a toilet seat." I had no response to that. Awhile ago, my girlfriend drove my car and said because the overhangs are pretty large compared to her car, that my car "is a big titty and big booty car." Yeah. Anything to add?
  10. Sad to see genuine fullsize cars going away so unnoticed. I, for one, prefer to cruise and could care less about how a car slaloms.
  11. That's exactly the thought behind our C&G Feature Articles forum. Write up some good reviews, guys, and as long as its somewhat above "God, this car blows nuts" and we'll format it and post it. Pictures are def encouraged!
  12. The answer lies somewhere beyond the sea, guys... ; ^_^ Another hint: Here's the car with its owner, who suggested elements of the car to the designer, who usually doesn't design cars. Instead of metalflake, how about diamond dust? That's what was in the original paint until it was restored.
  13. Why such horrid names?
  14. Bumped because of Northie/Harley's trivia orgy. :P I just really want to see if anyone knows this car.
  15. If a Camaro somehow gets us Buick and Pontiac products, yes. If GM thinks a Camaro somehow makes up for a lack of real flagship products in those divisions (my guess), then to hell with it.
  16. This is the diff... Should've happened three years ago.
  17. 1991 GM HX3 hybrid van. That's right, a hybrid in 1991 following the all-electric Impact in '90. If only...
  18. Owners of '99-'05 SAAB 9-5s...
  19. Exhibit A: :P
  20. '63 Corvair Pininfarina...based on a Corvair?
  21. '64 Runabout.
  22. 1969 Buick Century Cruiser
  23. Think it was called the Runabout?
