  1. Peter: *gasp* Optimus Prime is Jewish?! Peter: Pow! Right in the kisser! Pow! Right in the kisser! Pow! Right in the kisser! Pow! Right in the kisser! Pow! Right in the kisser! Pow! Right in the kisser! Pow! Right in the kisser! Pow! Right in the kisser! Pow! Right in the kisser! Pow! Right in the kisser! Brian: Peter, ya know, your judgement lately has been rather...well, you've always had crappy judgement. Its Peanut Butter Family Guy!
  2. Cool! Fullscale Transformers!
  3. Intrepid crusiers are pretty badass-looking. Its very wasteful to have a V8 Crown Vic or Charger patrol car doing community policing duty, sitting at a construction site a night, or driven by a detective. In those cases, it makes more sense to use a Lumina, V6 Impala, or Intrepid.
  4. Is this done in response to the crappy paint quality in Nissan's own US factories?
  5. Oh, snap...BV won't be single much longer!
  6. Yeah. I guess that's also why they have hollow plastics inside. :P
  7. I find it funny that rental agencies said they're considering imports more and because of their higher resale value yet fail to acknowledge that they are one of the root causes of craptacular resale value among cars. Its like the grim reaper wondering why people don't want to play tag with him.
  8. I find most Chevrolets of that era to be exceptionally bland and cheap. I suppose that was meant to reinforce the GM hierarchy that wanted to elevate people out of a cheap Chevy and into more 'worthy' cars of the B-O-P line. As inane as it might be, it does work. You'd have quite some persuasion cut out for you if you want me to choose a Chevy car over one of a better make.
  9. Some people are idiots.
  10. Crown Vic, Econoline, Ranger...Ford has a thing for hoping retro comes back. Anyway, remember all the hoopla over 15-passenger vans having inherent stability problems? Remember all the Ford and a few Dodges they always showed? Remember all the GM vans they showed? Like...none? And remember how despite that fact, GM still equipped their vans with Stabilitrak? WTG, Ford!
  11. You said that the '69 "beats the crap out of a 2006", not that it looked better or whatever. As far as the '96 goes, a fine car indeed, but doesn't really compare to other Impalas because of its lower-volume production; compare the mainstream Caprice to a mainstream Impala, and I still argue the Impala wins because - though a little smaller and a little less powerful - is more appropriate 'Impala.' Remember that Impalas were the perennial cheap family sedan with decent power, decent room, and reasonably-priced with great appeal. No doubt the Caprice lacked that appeal and you can partly blame the '91-'92 Whale look for it I think the 2006 Impala will give people that ride and handling quality they expect and the type a Caprice couldn't deliver. Remember, the Impala SS and 9C1 Caprices had suspension modifications while stock Caprices kept the boaty, Cadillac ride. I remember riding in a '92 and the float was much like the DeVille I drove recently for a rental - floaty. Now, I'm a man that prefers a smooth boulevard ride, but smooth encompasses 'composed' as well, not soft and oversprung to the point of annoyance.
  12. Nitro doesn't surprise me. Typical Chrysler half-assedness.
  13. I can't believe 732 suckers bought a rebadged Land Cruiser with a $10,000 markup.
  14. Who buys a Sentra aside from Enterprise?
  15. Does it still have a hood prop?
  16. After spending about a total of a two months and a few thousand miles over the past year in a Grand Am, Malibu Classic, Corolla, Altima, DeVille, Elantra, Impala, 9-5, Monte Carlo, and Camry, I was never happier to toss those E-keys back to the clerk, hug the hood, kiss the steering wheel, and slip into the seats of my Olds.
  17. Navigation is coming later in the year. The brochures spell that out very clearly. As auto 'journalists' they should know that.
  18. The GM CSVs remain the most visually attractive vans on the road today.
  19. 21 gallon fuel tank?
  20. You can always catch NASCAR on ESPN 8: The Ocho.
  21. Meh. The best Bonneville car is the Bonneville because the Bonneville carries on the Bonneville tradition of the Bonneville that was named 'Bonneville' because it ran the Bonneville. Also, even recent Bonnevilles have raced at Bonneville, reinforcing the Bonneville's Bonneville heritage. Bonneville.
  22. Hell, I'm going. The fact that a '21 or under' person is attending should make them smile.
  23. About the only thing needed on the Aveo is an economical powerplant. Really, besides that, its the best subcompact out there in terms of price and value, especially with the Spring Edition options.
  24. I guess you could say I did. I knew someone would be offended or complain at some point. The 'Pontiac Nazi' thing, ehhh, is okay, but the picture and flag are not. Hitler and the Swastika in that form are just plain not cool and don't belong in sigs.
  25. These things are jokes in the making. Remember Daewoo? Imagine that reoccurring but with worse products, deeper resale plunges, and no dealer support after the sale.
