  1. Yeah...you got mental problems...man.
  2. A final thought to Buickman. You hear that? Listen closely... Hear it? Its the sound of everyone here really caring. Its become clear to the general membership and the administration that you're not here to participate in a cohesive and meaningful discussion of General Motors. Rather, you're here for reasons of personal agrandizement and you're doing it in a way that infuriates members. Its clear you have your own site since you plug it every other post, so why not be content to advertise there? Instead of debating, you try to shove your viewpoint in everyone's face, ignore reasonable questions, and rebutt criticisms with personal insults. This is not why people come to this site and your actions are contrary to what we're about. So, since you're more interest in your own agenda and self-promotion, I ask that you don't return here. You resigned yourself voluntarily, so I don't expect you to return. Your soapbox is hereby removed.
  3. Here's another... 1998-whatever Chrysler LHS Why are the exhaust tips not only staggered but stick out like two inches from one side of the car? Niss...er, Infiniti QX56 Let's make it super obvious you badge-engineered this orca by using an old Nissan Pathfinder styling trait with the rear door handles. Ugh.
  4. Because cars like the C6, M5, etc are purchased over MSRP because they're desired. I'm sure there are people who bought a Prius fresh off the boat for thousands over because they desired the car. Actually, if you read what I wrote, you would see that I said those that pay well over MSRP in order to save money on fuel. Any accumulated savings is outweighed before the first mile is put on the car because of the initial 'market adjustment.' Again, my statement went to those that paid too much to 'save' money via fuel savings in the long run - mathematically, won't happen. I also said, "if you like the car, fine." So...yeah... As a note, a base a statement off an article in the local newspaper circa when the 2nd-gen Prius was hitting the lots. Some brainiac was quoted as saying something like, "...my husband thinks its ugly. So do I. But I'm buying it to save money on gas and I know I'll save alot even though I'm spending $3500 (or whatever) over sticker."
  5. I'm sorry, but that post reminded me of the Toyota WiLL
  6. Acura TL taillamps: The LED taillamps are sizable, yet the actual part the blinks when the turn signal is activated is miniscule in comparison. Cadillac did it right by making it extrodinarly obvious when a DeVille is turning. 1961 Plymouth Exactly how much crystal meth must you snort to pen a car that looks that overdone and squinty-eyes in the front yet so boring and snooze-inducing in the back? This is the year that was said to be the beginning of Plymouth's downfall; with cars like that, its no wonder. 1958-61 Lincoln Here's what happens when Lincoln tries to be stylish. Cross-eyed podded headlamps, pointless looooooong wheel scallop, inset front wheels, misplaced dagmars, weird rocketesque protrusions on the front corners, chrome molding to nowhere, blocky fuselage buldging on the sides...what a nightmare. Perhaps the definition of overwrought. 1997-2005 Lexus GS Seriously, guys...what's the point of those extra taillamps? Why not make a longer decklid to make the car look less awkward? 2006 Kia Rio Dear Kia, That chintzy plastic molding doesn't make it look European; it makes it look like shit. Kthxbye. 2004 Nissan Maxima Stop wrapping bumpers around the decklid! 1995 Olds Aurora See that gap between the headlamps and front clip? The headlamps are actually inset about a quarter inch and I have no idea why. It makes the entire front end appear misaligned for no reason.
  7. On a side note, what the hell is Carson Daly still doing hosting significant events like the New Year's Eve celebration, much less living?
  8. Well, my twin-engine SAAB beats your twin-engine SAAB any day.
  9. I can't find the Yaris hatchback anything but disturbing.
  10. Ya know, this doesn't make the cars any more real...
  11. Only the ones that pay several thousand over MSRP for the sole reason of fuel economy. Those people just aren't that bright. Again, if you like the car, fine. There is a difference.
  12. As in, like, a more appropriate design?
  13. Yeah. With this.
  14. Poseur. Like None Other.
  15. Its supposed to, though.
  16. In short, it was sarcasm. Wow.
  17. This has truly become an...
  18. I would honestly like to see that proven with figures. And 1995 was the debut year for the Aurora.
  19. Neither looks good, and the photo with the red sedan makes it look downright foolish, like someone sat on a Corolla. Its also odd how they seemed to take time with the sedan's interior while simply sticking yet another cheap-o Toyota radio unit in the hatch.
  20. Electra T-Type Probably the coolest taillamps on anything from the Eighties.
  21. One hopes a Rolls-Royce out of everything would spare no expense to make that windshield a full-wraparound instead of something incredibly geeky like thick, double frames, especially since GM's old H/C-bodies carried out a similar effect with far more grace.
  22. When they're ready. September intros work when everyone does it and its been a long, long time since that happened.

The old 8er is one of the best-looking BMWs ever crafted and its sad that, as a model born in 1989, its yet to be even close to matched by anything new BMW has put out. If I were to say anything bad about it, it would be that it is the example as to why you don't always need to graft on a carbon copy of your corporate grille...
  24. So sue me, but I moved on to Law & Order, like, ten years ago. I nerded early...
  25. Don't you find it funny that all those tough boxing guys are fighting over a purse?
