No, they don't, 'cause its pointless. Just hold down your turn signal for an entire four seconds and also its not called that; 'flash-to-pass' is the ability to pull the signal stalk back to activate (flash) your hi-beams to indicate to the driver ahead of you your intention to pass him.
  2. Why does it remind me of the Bobomobile? That blocky, bland, thick c-pillar looks so darn crappy on an otherwise slickish car.
  3. I've seen those turbine wheels on one Riv in this area a long time ago. Stuck in my mind because of their unusual design. Nice car. Always liked the last Rivs - even with their pinched-rear proportions - especially the gauges and the excellent G-body underpinnings, no doubt the best FWD platform in the world. Sucks that its a bit decontented, though.
  4. You say that, and then you see that the first few Porsche models borrowed heavily from the lowly VW Beetle. The 914 was a collaboration between Porsche and VW and then you have junk like the Cayenne. The allure of German engineering probably meant something when German cars were built decently, too. Yeah, Porsches are nice, but its give-and-take, like with any car.
  5. Please don't quote Wikipedia as a real solid authority on facts. Its only as accurate as its participants and I've seen tons of errors in many of the car sections.

Please tell me you're being tongue-in-cheek...
  7. Um. DRLs actually work. So yeah.

    Pictures!

I almost forgot. BV, you look 10.
  9. I just burnt my tongue.

    Holy crap

Last-gen, '95-00. I have a feeling the person was unbelted or something because all the other occupants in both cars were perfectly fine, even the front passenger of the Buick.

    Holy crap

Seeing as how someone in the Lumina was helicoptered to a hospital, no.

What he said. All cruise-equipped cars I've driven also have that 'memory.' The only way to really disengage cruise would be to turn turn it OFF.

    Holy crap

    Poor Regal...
  14. Oh, that's such a crock. Clearly trying to be the budget Rolls-Royce. Reminds me alot of the '90-something Imperial that was really a New Yorker in pseudo-luxury guise.

    Holy crap

A Lumina just t-boned a Regal LS outside of my house.
  16. Damnit. My guesses were all 'Fiero.'
  17. You get, like, what...20 miles a year?
  18. For some reason, I'm great at parallel parking. For anyone wanting a challenge, try parallelling a '95 or '96 Aurora - the ones before the dipping passenger mirror. Seriously. You're five inches off the ground in a 17-foot-long car with tiny podded sideviews and a narrow rear backlight that's distorted on both sides. I've whipped this puppy into a space I swear was 17'1". Scared the crap out of the chick who owned the SC430 behind me.

Sorry, but that sound like another one of those We-Put-More-Thought-Into-This-Rather-Than-Making-Sure-Our-Cars-Don't-Fry-Or-Break-Down Mercedes things as of late.
  20. The point is that Edmunds has an earned reputation for going out of the way to beat dead horses when it comes to domestic products. If a car is bad, its bad, but there was alot of hypocrisy in their articles five or six years ago, things like pointing out how a Park Avenue's wood trim looked chintzy and outdated and two years later when the Park dropped wood trim, they complained that its interior 'lacked warmth' and that 'where's the wood? Its a Buick.' Stuff like that. Granted, they've gotten better recently and have left out alot of the snide comments and constant bitching about how their sister's friend's boyfriend has a really crappy 1987 Sunbird. This is true, but... I think people are judging design as opposed to quality. I know I am when I say the interior looks like crap. Awful looking rectangular vents and a big glob of shiny plastic in the center stack looks pretty bad, rugged-styled or not. That's beside the point. Toyota is constantly held high for producing "high-quality" interiors or "interiors with hard materials that look high-quality" or something contrite like that. Whether or not the Canyon/Colorado have good interiors or not is a red herring in this situation.
  21. Crossfire. And its really DCX's own fault if people think the Pacifica and LX cars are hand-me-downs because of that whole tepid 'American Design meets German Engineering' crap they broadcast a few years ago.
  22. I really don't care what anyone says... ...the tusks rock. Don't ask why...
  23. Yeah, if we had a typo contest, you'd kick all our asses. Or rather, youd kcik al our ases.
  24. No secret. They just put the pheasants under glass.
  25. Dark Polo Green was available for quite some time. A lovely shade.
