  1. Such is sort of true. Compare amongst the G-bodies of the late-90s/2000 and the only ones similar would be the Seville/DeVille and Park Avenue/LeSabre.
  2. Because as far as I know, Toyota is not a person. Toyota cannot take offense to any statement. If I say a Toyota is ugly, its feelings won't be hurt. Please tell me that question was rhetorical and intended to be humorous. Yes, I will give you the spiel because it is a GM site and since the site came back online, you've made 172 posts, none positive about General Motors or really offering much of any positive suggestions and a whole lot containing this insulting tone. And, no, I don't care if you are a "huge supporter of the truth and of reality, no matter how negative or harsh it may seem," its no excuse for making personal affonts against people who are expressing their opinions as you are yours. If someone is incorrect and you correct them by insulting them, guess who looks dumber?
  3. Um. Yeah. Anyway. The last BelAir lacked some flair (ah-ha-ha!) that could've been rectified in a production version.
  4. Knife cuts both ways.
  5. Lay off the personal attacks and stick to the argument. Your accuracy is overshadowed by your attitude.
  6. That's just ignorant thinking. As far as power generation goes, France is snarter than us at one thing. They have an amazing nuclear grid.
  7. What Satty said. Imagine if some guy was taking candid snapshots of your wife or later-teenaged daughter?
  8. The '98 Seville's interior was fantastic. I've been in several and the materials, colors, and most importantly layout was fine.
  9. I do think he has a valid point in that the political commentary in auto reviews is way, way, way past its prime. It was mildly amusing at some point, but its plain annoying now and simply adds to how lousy a read most Edmunds reviews are. Agree, disagree, whatever, their commentary ("SRTness") is so sad. The Tahoe is not a reason why "the world hates us." Its as valid as saying every Frenchman, Frenchwoman, and Frenchchild should burn in hell because that Menage coupe has more overhangs than an Avis lot of Grand Prixs.

Looks a little J-Lo on the backside.
  11. So sue me, but I as a hetero male can't find what's so hot about two chicks going at it with each other.
  12. Depends on the lot. I know many around here are still running late-delivery Grand Ams, Classics, and Centuries even though those are now out of production. I've seen a handful of rental DTSs around here by now, so I'm sure by midyear there will be a healthy mix of DeVilles and DTSs.
  13. Alot better than our bloated Sienna.
  14. And IIRC, SAAB Automobile has no tangible corporate relationship with SAAB Defence besides the obvious marketing angles and common history as SAAB Auto was purchased from SAAB.
  15. I thought I locked this after my post, but I'm glad it didn't.
  16. No me gusta... No more doubt in my mind. This is a very, very unattractive car on the outside. However, the finally fixed the badly misaligned center stack on the '02 model. Anyone who praises that one's interior needs to lay off the hash. Also, 14.5-15 cu.ft. of trunkspace is flat-out unacceptable for a car of this size, especially with those massive unshielded hinges domestic cars always get racked on. 2002 Camry - 16.7 Corolla - 13.5 Impala - 18.6 Cobalt - 13.9
  17. That window molding pulling up and away from the side creases is horrible and the taillamps are too small. Again, Aurora with TL tailpipes.
  18. Oh yeah, is the the first Toyota with that Assbag?
  19. Did you turn him in for COLD BLOODED MURDER!!!!!!
  20. Jeremy Clarkson? Just kidding. Clarkson can spell.
  21. No, no copying. Especially no autopark system. If you can't operate the car, don't buy it.
  22. Still takes your attention off the road.
  23. I realize that but look at it practically. $4,000 buys better.
